Got it topped with spicy mustard (because I'm American), ketchup, onions, relish and pickles. I would rarely use "wow" on a hot dog, but this had wow. Was it 5 star restaurant in New York City "wow"? No, of course not. But it was food truck wow. And it didn't end there - the sausage with peppers and onions was something special. I don't know if it was the oil they used on the grill (probably) or the amount of oil or butter or lard (probably), or that the grill hadn't been cleaned in a while and it had the flavors of ever sausage and pepper and onion that came before (hopefully not, but probably), but this was delicious. When I was younger and living on Long Island, my friends and I would go see the Mets fairly frequently, and one of our favorite things at Shea Stadium was a sausage and peppers.
