    Fried Ravioli

Upon moving to Downtown Easton, Ciao quickly became one of our go-to spots for quick eats. It's a small, clean, and easy-to-order spot located in the heart of downtown. This was always a spot I walked by but never stopped, but after moving here and giving it a shot, I wish I could go back in time. Whether you order a hot sandwich smothered in sauce or a classic cold sub, you're guaranteed a loaded, consistently well-made, delicious sandwich. The attached photos are from today's meal, which was very quick, looked amazing, and tasted even better. We had two of the munchies, the Spicy Garlic Pizza Bites and the Fried Ravioli. Both were tasty and affordable. For the sandwiches, today I got The Balboa (1/2) and my boyfriend got The Italiano (whole). The chicken in The Balboa were delicious, traditional Italian style breaded cutlets. Despite being covered in their sauce and cheese, both the roll and the breading on the cutlets remained perfectly crispy. The bread is always great, and today I opted for the garlic bread semolina which added a great flavor for this sandwich. I got two thumbs up from my boyfriend about The Italiano, I couldn't really get a word from him while he was eating because he was loving this sandwich so much. I asked him if it was "better than Wawa", and if looks could kill, I wouldn't be writing this right now. His face said, "you didn't even just ask me that". Besides our successful meal today, I also wanted to share an amazing service experience I had at Ciao last week. The shop was packed, and I ended up waiting around 20 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. I didn't think much of it to be honest...Given how busy they were, the employees were clearly focused, working very hard, and turning out one amazing looking sandwich after another. When my order was ready, the owner (or manager) handed me my bag, apologized for the wait, and insisted I take a free dessert from their fridge. I hadn't complained and honestly didn't mind waiting, but that gesture spoke volumes. Some might see waiting as an inconvenience worth some sort of refund/reward, but given all of the circumstances I noted earlier, I see that as a sign of a small business thriving. So, to me, this gesture showed me how much they truly value their customers and how committed they are to creating a positive experience worth returning to. The fact that they went above and beyond only confirmed why Ciao has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. And can't forget... the cheesecake was also great! So whether you're ordering eat in and sitting outside enjoying Downtown, doing take out for pick up, or ordering to-go from online, I highly recommend Ciao for a tasty sandwich, great side options, and wonderful service.

I found Ciao! in a very quick and hungry search for a bite to eat for lunch on my way home from Easton. I was blown away by not only the size but the quality of the food. On top of that the service was just delightful. I am so happy o stopped in, I wish I lived closer to eat here more often!

The food is aways great quality and tastes good, but they rarely if ever do what was requested in special instructions - this may be my fault. I'm trying different ways of ordering it if they cannot add money to the order, but I know they can refund. They could also add a slightly better ratio of meat to other ingredients but that is fixable by removing toppings and eating them separately. Service is usually good the people in the restaurant are nice and quick but sometimes they do not have food thats on the menu. Music in there is also great and the place is always clean and even though its small it has a good amount of seating inside/ outside. They are great with fixing all the problems with my online orders if there are any. I completely love this deli, there's just a couple of kinks to iron out!

Was really impressed compared to a lot of sub places around Lehigh Valley. It was exactly what I was hoping for and was surprised that it was this thick and really good. It was filling but I'll say, it's tough to compare this to my favorite sub shop in Port Jervis, NY by Milford, PA. The subs there are HUGE for the same price. This sub was maybe 10". Definitely wish it was one of those larger, real subs you find in small towns but it did its job for the area. I also didn't realize that the Italian doesn't come with Mayo. Next time I will definitely request that next time. The meat was really fresh and great vinegar and oil mix. The girl that helped me with my order over the phone and when I went to go pick up the order was super nice and helpful. Very friendly. The place itself is pretty small but they do have a couple of tables outside where you can eat. They also have bags of chips inside that you can purchase. Overall will definitely come back.

Quick service & these guys don't skimp! I got the Ciao which had tons of prosciutto, plus fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and balsamic glaze. There was plenty of meat so well worth the price. The bread was fluffy and topped with sesame seeds. I found the portion to be large, so I saved half of the sandwich for later. The cheesecake crunch cones are a very sweet WINNER! The crisp shell is such a perfect contrast to the cheesecake filling. They were out of rice balls - I was looking forward to those, hoping to try that & the cannoli next time!

Decent winter weather this Groundhogs Day, 2022 and so, decided to head downtown Easton, PA to try this new sandwich shop named CIAO! As soon as we entered this cozy space, the good energy vibe was swirling abound and found a comfy stool at the counter. The owners were knocking out some good looking sandwiches piled high with cold cuts and toppings. It didn't take me long to order the FORGETTABOUTIT, warmed roast beast on an Italian seeded semolina roll, melted cheesy topped and served toasted. It's not so big an interior but this place has everything going for it, cold drink case, specialty sandwich board, fries and extras like chips and maybe a cannoli or a rice ball? Isaac and Anthony, you ROCK, in food preparation, service and personality. Have to admit, tho, "BONNIE'S" still on my mind which means we'll be back SOON,

Ciao in Allentown gives the Ciao brand a bad rep. Took 45 minutes for a simple salad and it came with bone in the chicken. Wtf!

I'll just break this down as quickly as possible. The good: - There was plenty of meat and it was seasoned well. - There was plenty of cheese and it was Cooper Sharp. - The roll had a nice consistency and flavor. - The girl working the front was friendly. - They had a massive American flag over the register. 'MERICA BABY The not so good: - The 12" steak and a bottle of propel cost $19. I have zero issues paying for good food, but I did find that a bit steep. - The onions were sliced red onion that they sautéed. Wasn't really a "bad" thing, just unexpected. Still tasted fine. - While there was plenty meat, it was packed to the middle and the ends had a lot less. I know that's a bit nit pickey, but it is a pet peeve of mine. All in all I really enjoyed the steak and I'd get it again, but due to the price I wouldn't rush back in or go out of my way necessarily to get back there. I do know food costs are up for everyone, not just consumers, I just figured this steak was bare minimum a $16 steak (if the propel was $3). That puts the cost in the ballpark of Mercatino Italiano and Mercatino's steak is definitely in another class imo.
