I purchased the vape Plus from Mellow Mood on 12-17-25. The vape never worked, it overheats. It's the puff co plus. Mellow mood won't take returns or honor the warranty. I contacted puffco, but Puff Co. has failed to honor the warranty as well. I paid $90 for a vape that never functioned, it's basically useless to me. I wouldn't recommend Mellow Mood if they are selling defective products and failing to honor warranties. read more

My boyfriend goes in to get my vapes here every week. This morning, he went in and asked for the same flavor as always. They handed him the wrong one, and being on my way to work I didn't have time to bring it back. I opened it anyways and the vape I received from them had no juice and is just straight battery. I called to let them know and see if they could make any exceptions since I just paid $25 for a vape that I can't use due to its defect, and the girl on the phone was BEYOND rude in telling me there was no exceptions and refusing to do anything else to rectify the situation. Easily my least favorite place to go to in Portland and maybe Oregon. Want a cigar/wrap? Or leaf? Stale. Customer service? Are these kids working the register ? No expertise. Whole staff eyeing me up including security especially as I walk around the small store. They grab the wrong thing? No returns or efforts. Don't let MM tell you they get them direct from Flum and that Flum's verification system is flawed. It's not* You can see in my email to Flum and their response that Flum is doing everything they can to combat fakes. If you aren't aware - people have died from fake Flum's. Google it. Dude that works there was really nice manager not so much she pretty much told me to go screw myself because she wasn't going to go to bat for me with the bong maker because the bong got so thin that when I held it it broke in my hand I only had it for about 10 days used it about 12 times and they wouldn't exchange it refund my money or anything instead of them going to the glass company and telling them they have a faulty piece remember they deal with them all the time she gave me that task never gave me a phone number person to contact just said yeah you used it so there's nothing we can do well that's bullshit if you buy anything from Mellow Mood you're a fucking idiot. I've been here over 10 times, I've spent around $100 dollars almost each time I've been in. The customer service is so incredibly horrible. They are so rude when you ask questions and they don't offer to help at all. There is one girl in there with dreadlocks that's nice, but I've only seen her once. All the other people who work here are horrible. I have family that shops here too and we will no longer be bringing our business here. Customer service really matters to us and mellow mood is the worst I've ever seen. This goes for both locations. You will not have our business any longer. Bummer. read more

Terrible customer service. Will never buy anything from this company in the future, and I implore others to stay away. Everything is overpriced, the staff is not helpful, and the quality is crap, especially compared to the markups. Furthermore, if something you buy breaks, they will not accept any kinds of returns or exchanges. Basically, you as the customer are responsible for the crap they sell to you. If it breaks because they sold you a bad piece with a crack, it is your fault. No apparent care for the customer let alone their business. They are just trying to make a quick buck. Go visit one of your local dispensaries for glass, it will definitely be cheaper and they will be much nicer to you. I am now left without a large sum of money and a gift for my parents. I usually spend about $60/week here and literally every other time I go here, they are out of the strain I like. I used to go to herbstomp religiously but then found mellow mood and the prices are definitely better at mellow mood than herbstomp but the inventory/supply issues get SO. ANNOYING. I can never depend on them having what I need and you're lucky if you get someone to answer the phone. So often you have to go there in person, only to find out that they are out of the strain that you want. So then you drive across town to their other location, only to find out that they, too, are out of stock and nobody ever knows when they will restock. I don't really understand why it seems so impossible to keep things in stock but I'm starting to think about just going somewhere else for the future. Another thing to add, they randomly change their prices pretty often so you can't even count on that unfortunately. read more

I've been holding off on reviewing this place because my first and last experience with this shithole filled me with such a rage that I felt like I couldn't write a comprehensive review of this "joint" (joint as in a place idk I'm stoned as hell [8] lmao) anyways it's been a couple of weeks (and Im actually roasting my 7th blunt of the day as I type this out so things might get weeeeiiird) I came in looking for an oil rig so I could take some fatty rips (there's a reason everyone calls me the dabby daddy) so I asked the associate where those were at and he just gestured over to where all the display cases are (some help you are) so I finally find the oil rigs and I started asking the guy some questions but he wouldn't move from where he was (not with a customer just dusting or some shit idek) so I had to tell across the store which sucked because I'm a firm believer in inside and outside voices so I had to cross a line I wasn't comfortable crossing.
