We came here in a Thursday night for trivia night. What's there to say about the Mushroom that hasn't been said before? It's a consistent experience no matter which location you visit the Mushroom always deliver good pizzas, salads and a decent lineup of rotating craft beer. The pizza is good in terms of better than macro brands. The crust is medium thickness and pretty good but not worth eating all the bones for the caloric carbs. Don't sleep on the salads as they are quite good and shareable. Trivia here is a nice escape and well moderated. read more

Was the pizza good? Oh yeah. It was HOT and tasty. The crust was done just the way I like it. A bit of char on the underside too. The cheese was sizzling and continue to cook on the drive home. As soon as I parked a slice was tempting my taste buds. Couldn't wait to go inside. Siting at the bar drank one beer. Just one. Delicious brewed in Bentonville just over the hills to the north. As soon as we approached the door it was opened for us and we were greeted immediately. We used to frequent Mellow Mushroom in Roger's before it closed down so it was nice to visit the Fayetteville location. Upon being seated, our drink order was taken. Th waitress was a sweet girl and did check on us periodically. We ordered wings and the Pacific Pizza with ricotta. The food came out hot and fresh. The wings are to die for! YUM! The pizza was everything I wanted and more! That crust is where it's at! I'm from the northeast so I'm a pizza snob. Mellow Mushroom is the only place in NWA that I have found to even come close to what I'm used to. The ingredients were plentiful on the pizza and the slices were large! hate to complain, but my Togo order had barely any spinach dip in the container it's pretty deceiving compared to what it has on the picture online, not sure how much you get when you dine in. Anytime that I'm traveling I always try and seek out a mellow mushroom. What's cool about mellow mushroom is they also have a unique menu that is for their specific area. For their save the location they offered a stuffed mushroom that we tried and it was absolutely delicious. It was served over a bit of lettuce and had Balsamic glaze on top. We also ordered a medium sized holy shiitake pizza, which is made with their homemade pizza dough has a garlic based with roasted shiitake, portobello, mushrooms, caramelized, onions, mozzarella, Wisconsin, aged white cheddar, fresh chives, shaved Parmesan, and a garlic aïoli swirl on top with black truffle oil. I have gotten this pizza at every location that I've been to and it never disappoints. They also had a lavender spring drink. That was super fun and tasty. I wish it was an all year thing. read more

She is what a peak cuisine curator, athlete, future healthcare professional, and potential future mother-in-law looks like. People flock to Mellow Mushroom in Fayetteville to have Ashley serve them, like when a panda is at a zoo in America for a limited time. This is the pinnacle of cuisine. Not even my Italian family can make pizza at home better than Mel. Four stars though because they took my favourite pizza off of the menu. Sad! read more

I have been coming here for however long this place has been open so I know it very well, I just never have thought about leaving a review because it's just almost always a good experience. There was a time before the recent remodel the service could be slow, but I chalk that up to post Covid staffing issues. They seem to have addressed that, and the service has been great since the remodel. The restaurant is in a convenient location with nice quirky psychedelic art throughout. There are also TVs located on the walls that show sports. They also have a spacious partially covered patio that is quite nice when the weather is good. They have a full bar with lots of cocktails and a great beer selection on tap. The beer is also served in a pint glass, which makes me happy. The food is above average and the pizza has a nice thin hand tossed crust. The sauce and cheese as well as the toppings I have tried are all good quality. I'm not very adventurous in my pizza choice and usually just get pepperoni and meatball, but they do offer several specialty pizzas. I do recommend you try the pretzel bites with the spicy or regular beer cheese sauce. The spicy cheese sauce is delicious. Price is average for a sit down pizza meal. If you haven't been here in a while I suggest trying again. It seems to have improved a lot since they remodeled. read more

I stopped in on my way home from a work trip and needed to do something relatively quick. Mellow mushroom was able to fill me up and get me back on the road quickly. We started with the pretzel bites which are indeed very delicious. Each of us got a small pizza. We were so disappointed by our experience at mellow mushroom. We walked in at 2:15 on thinking we had picked an "off" time after the hogs game had ended and before the dinner rush. We were initially met with great service. We put in a round of drinks and some wings and while we were waiting for the wings, we ordered a pizza at 2:30. We still sat waiting for our pizza at 3:45...as we watched pizzas come out that were ordered after ours. We were told ours somehow got pushed behind a large order. But rather than apology, we were given excuses. It's disappointing to go somewhere that was an old favorite. We know the food is great, and have such poor communication between the kitchen and the wait staff that they just couldn't get it right. read more

Really miss the location in Rogers which is closer to home, because mellow mushroom never disappoints us with their pizza. They had a menu overhaul a few years ago, but they still allow us to order pizzas off the old menu such as the Magical Mystery Tour and the Philosophers Pie. They also added an option to make your crust thin, which is a nice option to have. We ordered a large half and half pizza of these two "off menu" pizzas, a Ritz burger, and a hummus appetizer. Everything was phenomenal, and the Ritz burger is right up there with some of our favorite burgers ever. The reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is the amount of toppings on the Magical mystery tour. It used to be loaded more generously the last time we went. Selection of draft beers is decent, and the ambiance is cool and casual. We don't get to make it down to Fayetteville very often to eat, but the memorable pizza at Mellow always makes this spot one of our top dining choices when we're around. read more
