Super fun Bike & Brews Tour! Sam was an excellent tout guide who really knows his way around Oklahoma City and knows the history of the area. The tour is not strenuous, as long as you can ride a bike you can do this, and it was a great way to experience FIVE unique breweries. My only regret is that I did not take any photos of the fun! I've done a landmark/history tour and a Halloween event with Ride OKC and they were both highly enjoyable. I used their bike on the history tour but brought my bike on the Halloween/Haunted House tour Their bikes are a great and comfy hybrid style with lights and bells; all of the needed safety items. They also offered helmets if you don't bring your own. As a cyclist I totally recommend some light fingerless gloves in case of a fall, because sometimes falls happen... even when stationary Their knowledge of edificial architecture and history with the State's growth and economy during the formative years was impressive. I really enjoyed the format with riding and listening to music, chatting with other bikers, and interacting with other -estrians and motorists The halloween/haunted house tour was so fun. The weather was so beautiful this night. It wasn't a typical end of October night where it's usually super cold or the first freeze for the end of the year. The tour guide knew all of the spooky stories. Oklahoma unfortunately has a sordid history with its establishment and economic development, so I am sure there are many stories that can be added to this event as the years go on and stories come to light I look forward to a brewery tour and other riding events, but I think this is a great activity for anyone and undoubtedly so for a group read more

Ride OKC was seriously one HOT ride. Pun totally intended because it was 108 degrees outside. Lol. Ryan was a total trooper about taking our group out. I'm not 100% sure why we got this genius idea to do bike tour in the middle of an Oklahoma summer, but I am soooo glad we did because it was a boat load of freaking fun! We started at their pickup location which is on the west side of the Myriad Gardens. Ryan adjusted our bikes for a comfortable fit, gave us a run down of what to expect and we got to rolling. Our tour had a total of 5 stops and lots of random fun facts about different buildings along the way. It was about 3 hours long and just a ton of fun! I would totally recommend using this company for a fun get together, work event, or just a random tour around the city if you need some exercise. read more

OKC ride was our favorite part about visiting Oklahoma City. Ryan delivered bikes (helmets, bike locks, baskets, maps included) to our hotel so we could explore the city's marvelous trail system at our leisure. We had an incredible time biking along the Oklahoma River, and north from our hotel to Lake Hefner. Ryan offers roadside assistance, so we had no worries that we'd get stuck miles from our hotel with a flat or other problem (we've had that happen before...walking bikes back is no vacation). We also did the Art + Architecture Tour, and loved it - the only drawback was that we should have done the tour first, THEN rented the bikes, because we would have known about more great areas to explore. Ryan made the tour so interesting, relevant, and amusing - We've done several bike tours and his was definitely the best. It was the perfect combination of cycling and stopping to learn about what we were seeing. Next time we visit OKC, we'll do the Bikes & Brews tour! read more

Brilliant Idea! We took a night tour with the Ride OKC guys and I was very impressed! We arrived and they fitted us with bikes and made sure everything matched our needs. Once we were all geared up we headed out to the breweries. It's wonderful viewing the city this way. You get to look at the beautiful skyline in a way that very few people do. Throughout the night you hit local breweries and taste their beer and meet the owners. Each brewery gave us a tour of the faculty and it was just wonderful getting to hear each of their stories. Ryan and Ashley are amazing! Do this tour! We did the bike & brews tour and it was so much fun. Let me start it by saying Ryan and Ashley are so nice, knowledgeable and professional tour guides! We came from California and they took us to 5 local breweries and some great architecture, art and significant locations around midtown, bricktown and the lower downtown district. It lasted about 3 hours but definitely didn't feel it! In terms of the biking itself, there were 3 of us in our party and all absolute beginners biking hardly ever. There are maybe 2 parts where we felt the burn a bit, but it is very manageable. One of us has a bad knee and she was fine with this tour! They definitely adhere to who's in the tour I think. It was raining the day we had our tour and Ashley called me early that day to let us know that it was up to us if we wanted to continue with the tour since it was raining, which I thought was really thoughtful. The breweries were awesome, you go to 5 total and on some get a little tour of where everything goes down. You get a sample at each one included in the tour, which you pick from the menu. Very informative and a great experience! Again, do this tour!! They are amazing and clearly love what they do. It's a fun and great time all while getting a great exercise and some good beer. read more

Fantastic tour company and experience. It was a hot, hot day when we went out but completely worth it. It was fun playing tourist in our new city and seeing how close all the subsections and districts are while bike riding through the downtown area. It was also neat that our tour guide (and owner of the company) is an architect so we got to enjoy some history as he dropped some architectural knowledge on the buildings and houses around town. It's a great experience of learning, drinking and biking. 10/10 would recommend to all and plan on taking friends and family who come to visit us in the area. This week Yelp Elites got the chance to take the bikes and brews tour with Ride OKC. Let me tell you, it was a blast! The owner took us around downtown OKC to three different breweries: Vanessa House, Twisted Spike, and Angry Scotsman. At each stop the brewmasters educated the group about the development of their taprooms and many different beers they offer. The tour included samples of their beers also. Throughout the bike ride our guides entertained us with music and architecture and were extremely professional the whole time helping the group navigate downtown traffic with ease. I went on my first Ride OKC adventure tonight and it will not be my last! The tour I did was Bricktown and even though I've always lived in the metro area, I learned so much about Bricktown architecture, art and history. Ryan and Aaron were fabulous guides, kept us safe, happy and entertained while we leisurely rode around Bricktown for 3 miles. The tour was 2.5 hours and we had 12 stops, which was nice and made it not too hard of a bike ride. We visited the Centennial Land Run monument (it's the largest sculpture in the world!), visited Summit in the grain elevator, All About Cha for a tasty drink, the Criterion, OKCtopus mural, Bricktown Ballpark, Bourbon Street to share the Big Easy appy, the Oklahoma history mural along the bridge, the Santa Fe train depot, and finished up with Pinkitzel for a sweet treat! I'm missing two of the stops, but you get the idea. It was a great mix of entertainment, history, and treats. Highly recommend this whether you're looking for something to do, entertaining people who are form out of town, or to celebrate an occasion. I've done 3 different tours now with RideOKC and can't recommend them enough! I've done: Art+architecture, bricktown, pizza crawl. The rental bikes are comfortable (and cute for pictures), and the routes are leisurely and scenic. The tours with food (bricktown and pizza crawl) are always delicious and interesting, since we usually get to hear from the owners while we eat. Their social media accounts are fun to follow, with suggestions for free community bike rides, as well as tipping you off to their limited edition tour dates. I love these tours for out of town visitors, and dates with my husband, and they're always so memorable with a fun crowd every time. Plus I've gotten the added bonus of confidence in riding a bike on the road... before this I was a complete scaredy cat about it, and now I'm comfortable renting the Spokies bikes when I'm downtown and want to get around more efficiently.
