We had such a great time at The Melting Pot for happy hour! The whipped sunshine lemonade cocktail was delicious, the perfect balance of sweet and citrusy, and the whipped cream on top made it feel extra special. Johnny was a fantastic server. He was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. It's clear he truly cares about providing excellent service. He is knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely wants guests to have a memorable experience. We also loved that the cheese and chocolate fondue were half off during happy hour. It was such a great deal and made for the perfect excuse to enjoy a really nice date night.

Avery was the best, she knew her stuff was very informative and patient while we decided what we wanted! So yummy will be back :)

The concept of this place is both fascinating and chaotic. First, let me say that I truly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere is pretty good, including our very friendly server. I had been once before to a previous location and remember thinking to myself "this was a lot but once you get the hang of it it would be more enjoyable." We did the 4-Course option that includes a fondue, salad, entree, and chocolate fondue. This is probably the most straightforward option, and I would say I recommend it since altogether it's not a ton of food, so the amount is pretty approachable... HOWEVER I don't remember how long our Melting Pot KC experience was and we dined at this location with it being pretty new so maybe this is not typical, but our experience was OVER THREE HOURS to get all four courses. Again, I did enjoy the food and appreciate our server and I'm optimistic that the timing will improve as they get more experienced.

This was not our first time eating at a MP restaurant but it is the first here at home! They opened in November and we were very excited. We were celebrating my wife's birthday so it was her parents and us. We did the 4 course with all the goodies. Our favorite fondue was the fiesta, we had 3 different salads ( the bacon and blue is really nice) two different cooking style pots, a bouillon and an oil. The oil was our favorite. We had steak, shrimp, chicken and salmon. For desert we had the Yin and Yang and the Flaming Turtle. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable with some great recommendations. This is on the top floor of a new building so there is outdoor dining weather permitting. We enjoyed our meal very much and we will be back.

Two starts. For dessert and service. Cheese fondue was terrible as were the meat entrees. Service and dessert were great. I've eaten at a melting pot years back. We just got a location in Rogers and decided to give it a try again. Walked in around 6:45p.m on a Friday night and it was like a ghost town. Now I know why.

Went once, and did the full course meal for 2. Spent almost $200. The atmosphere is excellent. Service is excellent. Staff is excellent. Desert was very good. What we didn't like: - Fondue cheese was 'meh. - Boiling my meal. Raw meats and shellfish. I get it. But when you're catering to special occasions in people's lives, Why do I /we need to use a phone to scan a QR code on date with my wife to get Cooking times? Leave a card on the table! Aren't we supposed to 'disconnect' from devices for a little connection time? Trying to match the correct flavor of the boils to the meat selection is a crap shoot. Flavors were off. I accidentally bit into raw meat (both duck and steak) I thought was finished. You are essentially saying to guest - you're the 'chef'. If there's no chef - where's that $150K salary going? Make a well defined selection for your guests of best match entrees combined with a perfect boil. Don't make the guests figure it out and risk disappointment. Another question: Who's making sure HAACP guidelines are followed and cross-contamination for raw veggies, fruits, seafoods, poultries, beef etc, are isolated and maintained 'separate ' before table service? I guess I shouldn't have expected more, when I was doing the cooking, and paying heavily for it. We actually left feeling a little gross staring at all the raw meat. Best of luck. Nice idea. Poor execution.

Takes over 3 hours to eat here. Not worth the price at all. Main course and cheese is mid. Dessert is why there is a 2nd star.

Today we came for Sunday lunch and enjoyed quiche. Lorraine and the kids had spaghetti with meat sauce. We had a black forest cake for dessert and also ice cream sundaes for the kids. We drank Whitaker's sparkling grape juice for our meal. It was a great hit. The kids really enjoyed it and they said they wanted to come back soon! It's probably been five or six years since we have been here and the kids really didn't remember it. We did learn that they're not giving tours of the wine cellar since Covid at least not without some kind of special arrangement. The service was excellent and I would add the same lady that waited on me today was waiting on me many years ago when I first visited here when I was 11 years old. That's been more then 40 years ago.

If you enjoy sweet wines like us, we loved the strawberry alpine and the chocolate wine as well as the red muscadine. They had many other wines to choose from as well. Our son does not enjoy wine, but they offered non-alcoholic beverages for him to sample as well. We appreciated this kindness. In addition to the wines we purchased some artisan soaps and body lotion made from wine sediments with amazing scents. We also purchased some homemade apple butter. As it happened today we were not hungry at the time so we did not visit the restaurant but look forward to going there on a future trip. The clerk was extremely helpful and friendly. She took the trouble to make sure we enjoyed the experience and got out of it what we were looking for. This was all the more appreciated since this was our daughter's first wine tasting.

Located under ground in the Neosho square; there's not a lot of seating but such a cool atmosphere. We stayed with the pretzels with beer cheese and mustard - these were very good. Nice flavor on the cheese. Pretzels were soft and salty. Loved it! Hubby tried the wood grilled wings appetizer - he LOVED them. Nice char and smokiness in the best way possible. Hot honey and garlic parm flavor. Huge wings compared to other wing places. Super juicy and flavorful. Couldn't have been better. I chose the Maui Waui pizza. Got the individual size (all signature pizzas can be made individual) - which is a rectangle of 6 slices. Had an AMAZING flavor. Excellent crunch on the crust. I absolutely loved this pizza. Pineapples were sweet, honey was hot (but not overpowering). Great contrast. I have ordered this every time I visit.

The staff were friendly, our server was educational on the items and wines very pleasant they did become to busy to check in properly with us which slowed our check request and request to leave an additional 20 minute's but we enjoyed our time in conversation about what we ate at dinner again no fault of our waiter he sent another waiter to check in on us since he could get back to us till later. Now for the food - We ordered the maple glazed salmon. The 22oz ribeyes with 2 lb lobster tail as well as a side of truffle mushrooms paired with wine. The steak was perfectly tender and cooked medium rare, the lobster was succulent, with rich buttery flavor and tenderness. The salmon was cooked juicy not over done and tenderness to show it was light flaky how a plave know for food and presentation perfectly owned their reputation on one first time visit. The mushrooms were amazing we were so full we could not even order dessert just so full. Over all beautiful scenery and it was a hidden gem I was greatful to see and take time to enjoy a meal with. 10 out of 10 food. 10 out of 10 atmosphere. 7 out of 10 noise level. 8 out of 10 service. Over all 4 out of 5 stars becasue they could improve some aspects on my opinion but if the service required searching for a waiter or waiting to be check up on then it could have been 5 stars.

The grounds and view from the restaurant are truly spectacular. Rolling hills and canyons. Details in design are paid attention to here and that shows. Overall, the food was good but not totally outstanding. My favorite was the beet salad. I would recommend the steak too, but the short rib was tough and over powered by the apple cider vinegar it was marinated in. The sides were solid, typical steakhouse style- buttery corn and roasted Brussel sprouts. Washing this dinner down with $24 Old Fashions was steep (if you want them smoked there's an additional $4 charge) and caused us to imbibe in 1 drink each. The kids meals were good with standard options including chicken tenders, but I'd pass on the surprise sundae. It wasn't very exciting--- the surprise was whipped cream on top. Maybe just call it a sundae. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Consider booking a table by the window to take in the view and ordering the beet salad.
