I found their muffins, scones and bakery items to be much fresher. Expiration date a little longer than the one in Queens Blvd. I came here to get eggs. There was only three cartons left. Always check your eggs before running off to the check out counter. There were at least 1-2 cracked eggs in all three cartons. Asked staff if there were more eggs available and informed him the three cartons should be taken out of the shelves. Staff went back and came back with three cartons of eggs. I took 2. Sign up for Target Circle which is free. You get discounts every week as a member. The eggs were buy one carton get the other at 50% off. You will get more value and discounts with Target Circle. Don't forget to check Target weekly circular for sales and bargains. Tried to shop for clothes and shoes, but there were not much of a selection in the clothing section which was limited and small. For these items I go to the Target at Queens Place. Basically shop for essentials and grocery items here.

I found some nice goods like a 6 tier mini basket organizer shelf but it was too big for me to carry all the way home and I was about to go to an event before I got here. There was also just 1 large fake fig tree that was very appealing and a nice match to a couch. Not crowded in the midday and lots of parking around it because it is located in the College Point mall. Unexpectedly, the cart locked while still in motion--right in the middle of the roadway--and I was left stuck trying to force the cart to move with my child near moving cars. I couldn't just leave it in the middle of the street as that would also be a hazard. There were no visible warning signs in the parking lot to alert shoppers to this locking system. When I mentioned it to customer service, their reply downplayed the situation as an inconvenience and failed to acknowledge the real safety risk, especially with small children involved.

They're usually open until 8pm so if you needed a gift or some other item quick, they'd be easy enough to get to after a regular work schedule if you live in or are visiting the area. All of the sales team that work there are super friendly and can assist you if you're looking for something in particular. This man thinks his word is all that matters in this world and does not believe that actions speak louder than words! I called and spoke to Luca who immediately made the change in their system. The oven was delivered the next day and the delivery person was extremely courteous and helpful. Again, I made another mistake. I forgot to order the stand to put the pizza oven on. I called Luca again and he took payment for the stand and offered to waive the FedEx costs since I paid for assembly initially. That would have been great customer service already, but to go a step further, Luca called me back and said they would put it on a truck and deliver it that same day. Such a great experience!

But of course always a lousy encounter to remind me of how this particular Target truly does target customer. And yes they definately target me and probably folks who look like me. This is the end of the school year & my go to gift for school staff are gift cards. Yesterday I purchase 4 visa gift cards and the only the odd thing that was said to me was that the gift cards aren't on display because customers mess with them--that's an important detail. Today, I went back to purchased an additional 4 gift cards from the same cashier (Jasmine). She initially claimed I can only purchase 3. When I pointed out that I purchased 4 the day before; she claimed she was scolded by a manager and that the register doesn't allow more than 3. I offered to make 2 separate transaction and even offered 2 separate payment sources, if that worked better. She was obviously lying as she "forgot" the name of the manager who scolded her and the register did allow 4 gift cards to be purchased exactly as it did the day before. Long story short, I spoke to store manger and he confirmed what my experience should have been in just making a simple purchase without the extra ego tripping by Jasmine. And that detail, she claimed about the gift card display was clarified by the manager as being place outside of customers purview to reduce the cluttered look of the customer service area. The managers explanation makes more sense since it literally sat behind the counter previously, where customers can't mess with them anyway. Addendum: it was actually 6 gift cards that I purchased the day before not 4.
