She responds to all my emails with questions in less than 24 hours. She also gives me lots of good advice on what plants to make for my place. Her customer service is so good that I feel like I owe her a nice review ( and I rarely write any)! I bought 3 large and 1 small plants from her namely bird of paradise, a pathos , snake plant and nanouk form her and couldn't be happier! They all look as good as the photos online if not better. I tried a few other places and often end up disappointed. You can watch her videos showing her newly arrived plants. You will then see how nice all her plants are and what you will be getting! Her pricing is very reasonable (I'm price sensitive esp under covid). You may be able to find other places with slightly lower price point but believe me , you will get the best value from her. Plants will be with you for a super long time and you want to get something healthy and nice. I made the mistake of going for the cheapest place I can find when I first started and end up getting subpar plants and services ( broken plants/super long response time/generic plant advice). I still don't know what to do with my broken plant at home coz I feel bad throwing it away... She also doesn't push you to buy something more expensive but gives you her honest recommendation. ( I thought about getting a. Bigger zz plant instead of the snake plant which would cost much more but stick with her original recommendation becoz it would look better in my space and she was right!) Her self watering planters are very convenient and very pretty. I sometimes forget to water my plants and I am a frequent traveler prior to covid. So self watering planters would be of huge help. I bought pot mix, fertilizer, sprayer and plant waterer from her as well. You can tell she is a person with passion and high standard towards plants and the pot mix/fertilizer she picked must be the best. I love my plant waterer and it makes watering a delight every day. I really enjoy all her videos on YouTube which gives you ideas how to take care of various plants, how to decor your room etc. Photos below do not show 100% how nice the plants look but I'm sharing them it to give everyone an idea. I will say they were nicely packaged. I contacted NYCS to start a refund/return as they continue to say they are "easy" and sent in photos. It has been a month of "let me talk to..." send me..." and I still havent recieved a new plant or refund.

Far from being much of a gardener prior to this year, there is a certain excitement of envisioning what one's garden could become with some of the beautiful plants that are for sale, inside and outside the gates of Florist Hills & Garden Center. From the dreamy stage to the practical portion of what your outdoor and indoor plans will become, takes little effort with the knowledge and support of the staff, who can get your questions answered in a clear and concise manner. If I were to pinpoint a particular characteristic that distinguishes my purchasing history, a knowledge based customer service relationship always is atop the pecking order. (Something one will never get at Home Depot which is a mere few blocks up Woodhaven Blvd) With the middle portion of the vegetable gardening season upon us, every plant I purchased at Florist Hills & Garden Center is producing vegetables, growing tall and strong and continue to thrive in my backyard, which previously had really no nutrients in the soil nor fertilizer, it was just dirt, dirty dirt.. Based on the plants being spaced improperly and their continued ability to flourish with daily watering I know why now it is that I find myself walking the isles every two weeks. The staff is very friendly, helpful and patient. The guy helping us held up a few trees while we were trying to decide, trimmed it where we wanted, tied it up and helped us get it securely in the car. We ended up spending only a few dollars more than we would have at Home Depot and this was a much better experience; not to mention our tree is beautiful!

If you're looking for something different from the typical supermarket/bodega common plants, this is the place to go. Her plants are really healthy and very reasonably priced. I bought a giant 6" philo brasil for only $18, while many places were charging $30 and up or same price for a smaller size. She also sell pots but not too many options. It's a very nice and calming place to go to especially in times like this. And I also enjoy talking to the store lady owner there. She's very sweet and nice. She would also offer delivery but I think only for the bigger floor plants.

I received an add from the Market Place for Milena's Garden City selling Christmas Trees for $65.99…read moreand since I am member of the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce this just made sense to shop local. My wife and I arrived about 1/2 hour before closing. Some trees were priced higher and asked to see ones as advertised. The gentlemen who helped us took us in the back and helped pick out a beautiful tree. We went to pay and told him we members of the chamber and received a slight discount he threw in a bottle of Plantabbs Prolong to nourish the tree. They put the tree in our SUV and home we went. The tree is beautiful for what we paid for it. See pics. I also go here for my Propane and the staff are always polite and efficient. It's great to have this business in our community and member of the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce.
