I had to put my 2 dogs down last year for what other Vets had told me of their health condition. I now doubt what I was told and the decisions I had to make based on what I was told. I really wish with all my heart now that I would have gotten a second opinion from Dr. Nield before making those terrible decisions for my Dogs. Hindsight is so hard but I really think he would have been able to help them now. He is so competent . I am sad I did not find him a year ago, I have a feeling it could have changed the whole trajectory of my outcome. If you have Pets go to him!! There is no better in town! Our two Bichons, Tinket and Asa, both had ear infections. Dr. Pulver determined it was from their food (chicken meal in the ingredients). She took out the excess hair out of their ears, cleaned them, and showed us how to apply the medication. We now have two very happy and healthy fur babies.

I'm not clear what happened, but the front desk staff, Meadow and Sarah, started to act unprofessional, rude, and unaccommodating at the expense of my pets' health. We were forced to switch to another vet who has been easier to work with. I hope they can resume previous levels of service. Dr. S. has known my pups for a few days less than I have, and is one of the best. However, for the small fortune I've paid and the distance traveled, I can't let my pets wait in discomfort over whatever the problem is at the front desk - personal, professional, or otherwise.

Told them we wanted some fluids and anti-nausea medicine. Assistant came in saying she needed a parvo test which we stated not needed. She said she needed to talk to the doctor, came back pretty much saying if not done no treatment. (said it was about 50.00 where actually it is 79.00) so we agreed reluctantly. 2.5 hours later the Dr. came in and she said she needs to do ultra-sound as there might be something there, we agreed. Came back and said she needed to do an X-ray as there might be something, so we reluctantly agreed. Came back and like EVERYTHING else it was negative. Suggested they give her fluids and anti-nausea medicine because the de-wormer can cause some vomiting. THAT IS WHAT WE CAME FOR INITIALLY. Saw the bill and was quite mad. Would never have taken her there is she wasn't so small (2.4 lbs) so can go downhill fast with dehydration. Recommend the one on Chinden Blvd if an emergency as service is not a con to run unnecessary tests. Update: I was able to get the resolution I was hoping for by speaking with one of the supervisor. My perception has been changed and if needed I would visit again if needed. Nice to know they aren't only trying to maximize profits by upselling tests. Wife and I are happy and our puppy is happy and healthy now too.

We walked in to a very large dog in the waiting room so they put us in a room to wait (which I'm thankful for). After we were triaged no one came to check on us or keep us updated on when we could expect to be seen. The worst part is that my dog was barely acknowledged the entire time we were there. I told the staff he was afraid and anxious and not a single person made an effort to let him sniff them, speak to him, or even look at him until we were walking out, one person said about three words to him. There were nine people just sitting behind the front desk. He showed up afraid and not feeling well and left just the same.
