The doctor and nurse were very knowledgeable and, above all, CARING! Even though my test results hadn't come in yet, the doctor still called to see how I was doing anyway and gave me options if I didn't feel better. That's unheard of in my experience! I was surprised with my visit in the best way…read more Most of the urgent care centers that my insurance covered closed at 4 or 6 and I was scrambling to find someone and they closed at 8. When I got there, only one other person was is in the lobby. Just a note it's small inside plus they have seating blocked off due to COVID (Which I'm okay with). The staff was nice at the front desk and the paper work wasn't that long. I had another person in front of me , so I had to wait a bit in the exam room. The PA ( I'm saying PA cause usually doctors say that they are a doctor when they walk in, if she's a doctor I really do apologize ) asked me what brought me here and actually listened to what I had to say. She told me what she thought was wrong and ordered some X-rays. Additionally, she added an X-ray to see if what I thought happened was going on as well. Got the X-rays done and what she said was the right thing and she took her time out to explain why. Gave me a shot and I was on my way home. Woke up this morning in barely any pain compared to the day before. Thanks to the staff there for proving me wrong and taking good care of me.

I completed my registration seamlessly, thanks to Mirka. I transitioned from registration to pre-op prep by the medical Assistant Laura, (who was one of the nicest beings I've ever met.) She made me so comfortable, I forgot that I was having surgery. I then went into the surgical room by Jamie and the Team who set me up for surgery. Dr. Joseph's bedside mannerisms is matchless. He has a calming aura, and collected way about him which (as his patient) I'm immensely grateful for. Pre-surgery Laura stepped up to make sure I was ready. Post-surgery was handled admirably by Karpia and Jamie. They made sure I was as good as I could be to be released safely, until my daughter came to pick me up! I appreciate EVERYONE who welcomed me, assisted with my surgery and made sure that I was comfortable and great. On a scale of 1 to 10... I can honestly say that I've never been to any surgical center that was better than this one…read more Check in was quick and easy and I don't think I waited more ten minutes before I was called into the back. Once I got in the back, the nurse took my vitals and got me ready for my upcoming procedures. Two different anesthesiologists came to talk to me to make sure I understood the kind of anesthesia I was going to be getting and to explain to me any side effects I might experience and to ask me if I had any questions or concerns. After a brief wait I was wheeled into the back and it was showtime! My doctor was there along with a surgical tech who introduced himself and told me he was going to be assisting my doctor. When I woke up in recovery there was another nurse tending to me. After making sure I was feeling fine and giving me a snack and a drink my doctor came to let me know how the procedures went and what to expect when I got home. I was given post op instructions (both verbal and written) and I was on my way. EVERY single person from beginning to end was just absolutely amazing. They made me feel comfortable in a situation that can be so stressful and scary. In addition, the facility was absolutely spotless. Not only did they call later in the day, but they called next day as well to make sure I was feeling fine. All in all, an excellent place to go to for your medical or surgical needs.

I was met by the laziest , rudest, and miserable staff I've ever encountered in all of South Florida they all sat around gossiping, watching tv, and on their phones claiming to be full with no walk in appointment! well for me not for Spanish woman with a cancelled appointment from days ago they found a slot for her very unprofessional staff on Saturday they all need retraining from security to registration and especially lab staff very disappointing experience

They had a screen so you could watch news and pass the time. Check-in was incredibly fast efficient and friendly. The doctors who utilize it seem to be very good at what they do so I was confident they would take my care of my daughter. I absolutely love their texting updates; I knew when she went back of course but when they were preparing her, in pre-op, surgery post-op, recovery then notify you to pick up your loved one. Receiving those timely texts with updates made it easier to keep family up-to-date. Surgery of any kind is stressful so having a nice calm environment waiting for your loved one was especially nice. Everything went like clockwork. No need to bother the receptionist for information, it was all on your phone! When it came time to pick my daughter up it was a little confusing. Better signage would help but that may be due to the property owner and the ambience they want. What I found the pick up which itself is marked the parking was not adequate. Again, this is up to the property owner. Plus people aren't considerate and even though the sign said patient pick up only people had parked there. Unless they have parking lot security there's not much they can do about that. I trusted them with my child, that should tell you everything you need to know. Again, surgery isn't like going to a restaurant but if you have to choose somewhere, I would choose to trust them with her outpatient care again.

I especially want to recognize Alex Morales, who was incredibly attentive to my mother and treated us with so much kindness, respect, and compassion. He truly made us feel cared for and comfortable throughout the process. Having employees like Alex, specially than he is a young man says a lot about the professionalism and high standards of this center. We are very thankful for the wonderful care my mother received and would highly recommend them!

I paid at time of service as I was told the insurance would not cover. This is fine and has happened before. However, the insurance DID pay in full as they were notified by the end of that month and I have yet to receive a refund more than 90 days later, despite weekly attempts to follow up.

I feel like their online appointment app shouldn't schedule appointments when they are really busy. The waiting room was quite cold and I found the chairs uncomfortable....probably because I was achy. Once I was called the staff was very kind and helpful.  They took my vitals, ran a few tests and called in some prescriptions for me. The process was fast once I was called back. I actually started feeling better by evening. I will definitely continue to choose this UrgentMed location. The waiting room can be long; but probably much faster and less expensive than visiting the ER!

I had to wait almost 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment because they only had 2 people working at the time. They were apologetic but I was never told there would be a bit of a backup because of this. The location is easy to find and the parking lot has a nice amount of spaces for everyone that needs to come here. The lobby is always clean and there is more than eniugh seating as well. One of their main entrance doors is stuck so there is only one door to come in and out. The rooms are clean but very small so I feel like I'm ontop of everyone when there is more than two people in the room at a time. Overall it's a great urgentmed and my choice in case I get under the weather or need something quick looked at!

I've had excellent service at memorial urgent care center. Today, I hit the lottery because when I…read morepulled up there was no one in the waiting room. I had been bitten by dozens of red ants on my feet and one of the bites was infected. They quickly and compassionately took care of me. I was given antibiotics and the doctor advised me to wear open toed shoes for a while. She also told me to lay off of the hydrogen peroxide for the time being as it was burning the infection site. From start to finish, everyone was kind and helpful! I consider Memorial Urgent Care to be my go to place for Urgent Care.
