They were kind, attentive, and compassionate throughout my stay. Unfortunately, my experience with other members of the hospital staff was completely different. My biggest concern began when I felt that the doctor was not listening to me as a patient or taking seriously what I was physically experiencing with my illness. I know my body, and I was trying to communicate that something was not right. After speaking with a social worker and continuing to advocate for myself, the doctor finally ordered an additional test to determine whether there was another issue that could explain what I was experiencing. While I was waiting for this test and for the doctor to determine a plan that would allow me to safely go home with something to help control my headaches, I had an extremely upsetting interaction with a social worker named Maria. Her approach made me feel as though the hospital bill was more important than my health, my well-being, and what I was physically going through. The first time Maria entered my room, she did not properly introduce herself or explain what department she was from. I had to ask one of the nurses for her name. When she came back to my room a second time, she finally identified herself, but her attitude and the way she addressed me were very unprofessional. During our first interaction, she asked whether I was staying or leaving. I attempted to explain that the doctor's plan was to find something I could safely go home on that would help control my headaches and that I was still planning to leave that same day. Before I could finish explaining the plan of care, she rudely interrupted me and began discussing the possibility of me being responsible for the bill if I stayed. I explained that I had already spoken with another caseworker who had gone over the situation with me, so I understood what could happen financially. Her response to me was essentially, "If you want to pay the bill, that's fine with me." I found this response extremely insensitive and inappropriate, especially considering that I was a patient who was still sick, in pain, and waiting for additional testing. The interaction became even more upsetting when she made another comment about me paying the bill as she walked out of my room. Shortly afterward, someone came into my room and handed me paperwork regarding the bill. At that point, I was so frustrated and upset by how the entire situation had been handled that I threw the paperwork away. My concern is not simply about receiving a bill. I understand that hospitals have financial policies and procedures that must be followed. My issue is with the lack of compassion, professionalism, and respect shown when communicating those policies to a patient who is actively dealing with a medical issue. There is a time, place, and appropriate way to discuss financial responsibility without making a patient feel as though money matters more than whether they are medically stable or feeling better. It is very sad when a patient leaves a hospital feeling as though the priority was whether the bill would be paid rather than whether the treatment they received actually helped them. Patients come to hospitals because they are sick, scared, in pain, and looking for help. They deserve to be heard by their doctors and treated with dignity and compassion by every member of the hospital staff. Again, I truly appreciate the nurses who cared for me. They were wonderful. However, the lack of communication from the doctor and, especially, the dismissive and insensitive interaction I experienced with Maria significantly affected my overall hospital experience. No patient should be made to feel that their financial responsibility is more important than their physical well-being while they are still actively receiving care.

Absolute joke of a pediatric emergency room…read more We walked in with my son's hand completely covered in blood--he needed stitches--and there was ZERO sense of urgency. From the initial check-in, to the nurse, to finally seeing the doctor almost an hour later... no one moved with any urgency whatsoever. Meanwhile, staff were casually talking about who was going to lunch--as if nothing was happening--while my child was there bleeding. And the worst part? We were there for FOUR AND A HALF HOURS just to get four stitches. This isn't the first time either. The lack of care, the slow response, the complete disregard for patients--it's becoming a pattern at this hospital. Unacceptable.

The hospital is extremely clean and well maintained, and access is very easy, which helps a lot in stressful moments. The rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, including a couch for any family member who needs or wants to stay. Overall, the staff is very people-oriented and supportive, which made a real difference for both the patient and our family. They specialize in maternity and intensive care. They have a very well equipped team to deliver attention and care, just wish they could also offer cancer treatment in this center.

I was able to get the prescriptions that were necessary. I've been prescribed the same medication before so I knew what I needed but Dr. Roy Dubash recommended me the same prescriptions without me asking him for the same prescriptions. I was in and out in less than an hour. Incredible experience I will definitely be coming back if I need any medical care.

I've visited several times, and each experience has been excellent. I'm usually seen by Dr. Shapiro, who I absolutely love. He always makes sure I fully understand my condition and treatment plan, and my prescriptions are taken care of before I leave. On one occasion, Dr. Shapiro wasn't on staff, and I was seen by Dr. McKuin instead. He also provided great care and made me feel well looked after. I truly appreciate the professionalism and consistency at this urgent care. I love this place!

I can honestly say that I've never been to any surgical center that was better than this one…read more Check in was quick and easy and I don't think I waited more ten minutes before I was called into the back. Once I got in the back, the nurse took my vitals and got me ready for my upcoming procedures. Two different anesthesiologists came to talk to me to make sure I understood the kind of anesthesia I was going to be getting and to explain to me any side effects I might experience and to ask me if I had any questions or concerns. After a brief wait I was wheeled into the back and it was showtime! My doctor was there along with a surgical tech who introduced himself and told me he was going to be assisting my doctor. When I woke up in recovery there was another nurse tending to me. After making sure I was feeling fine and giving me a snack and a drink my doctor came to let me know how the procedures went and what to expect when I got home. I was given post op instructions (both verbal and written) and I was on my way. EVERY single person from beginning to end was just absolutely amazing. They made me feel comfortable in a situation that can be so stressful and scary. In addition, the facility was absolutely spotless. Not only did they call later in the day, but they called next day as well to make sure I was feeling fine. All in all, an excellent place to go to for your medical or surgical needs.

I completed my registration seamlessly, thanks to Mirka. I transitioned from registration to pre-op prep by the medical Assistant Laura, (who was one of the nicest beings I've ever met.) She made me so comfortable, I forgot that I was having surgery. I then went into the surgical room by Jamie and the Team who set me up for surgery. Dr. Joseph's bedside mannerisms is matchless. He has a calming aura, and collected way about him which (as his patient) I'm immensely grateful for. Pre-surgery Laura stepped up to make sure I was ready. Post-surgery was handled admirably by Karpia and Jamie. They made sure I was as good as I could be to be released safely, until my daughter came to pick me up! I appreciate EVERYONE who welcomed me, assisted with my surgery and made sure that I was comfortable and great. On a scale of 1 to 10... I have been coming to this office for YEARS, And every single time I say the same thing -I am so happy I found this practice . Everyone is amazingly kind , its almost like one big family. It's the same faces for years which is rare with doctors offices . Being a diabetic I have been to many different offices so I notice these things , by far this is my favorite . I have been seeing Jenna for years , I feel so comfortable speaking to her . She is kind and understanding. I saw Brooke Laine once and she was also amazing . The staff is always on point , always so nice and always smiling . Thank you guys for always having a positive attitude , it does not go unnoticed .

They had a screen so you could watch news and pass the time. Check-in was incredibly fast efficient and friendly. The doctors who utilize it seem to be very good at what they do so I was confident they would take my care of my daughter. I absolutely love their texting updates; I knew when she went back of course but when they were preparing her, in pre-op, surgery post-op, recovery then notify you to pick up your loved one. Receiving those timely texts with updates made it easier to keep family up-to-date. Surgery of any kind is stressful so having a nice calm environment waiting for your loved one was especially nice. Everything went like clockwork. No need to bother the receptionist for information, it was all on your phone! When it came time to pick my daughter up it was a little confusing. Better signage would help but that may be due to the property owner and the ambience they want. What I found the pick up which itself is marked the parking was not adequate. Again, this is up to the property owner. Plus people aren't considerate and even though the sign said patient pick up only people had parked there. Unless they have parking lot security there's not much they can do about that. I trusted them with my child, that should tell you everything you need to know. Again, surgery isn't like going to a restaurant but if you have to choose somewhere, I would choose to trust them with her outpatient care again.

I was given antibiotics and the doctor advised me to wear open toed shoes for a while. She also told me to lay off of the hydrogen peroxide for the time being as it was burning the infection site. I feel like their online appointment app shouldn't schedule appointments when they are really busy. The waiting room was quite cold and I found the chairs uncomfortable....probably because I was achy. Once I was called the staff was very kind and helpful.  They took my vitals, ran a few tests and called in some prescriptions for me. The process was fast once I was called back. I actually started feeling better by evening. I will definitely continue to choose this UrgentMed location. The waiting room can be long; but probably much faster and less expensive than visiting the ER!

I had to wait almost 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment because they only had 2 people working at the time. They were apologetic but I was never told there would be a bit of a backup because of this. The location is easy to find and the parking lot has a nice amount of spaces for everyone that needs to come here. The lobby is always clean and there is more than eniugh seating as well. One of their main entrance doors is stuck so there is only one door to come in and out. The rooms are clean but very small so I feel like I'm ontop of everyone when there is more than two people in the room at a time. Overall it's a great urgentmed and my choice in case I get under the weather or need something quick looked at!
