I found this wonderful office after exasperating search for a primary care provider. I was out of the country for extended time. I got home with a health card stating a PC P. I called the office to make an appointment. I was told that new patients were to be accepted in 3 months. Make long story short, with the help of the insurance customer service I found this office. I was impressed after one telephone ring, Paloma answered the phone and she told me someone will call me back. The same story for the past 2 months. Right after lunch that day, I got a call from Lily. A fresh breath of air. When she gave me an appointmentin 2 days ; I was breathless. and surprised. One on the most incompetent and unprofessional businesses I have ever been to!!!!! Dr. Mian Hasan and their staff at their office is so unprofessional. Under my condition I needed to get some paperwork filled and yes it was filled but there was a couple errors. I called the office and they said there is no problem and they will to fix it just come to the office. (This was aside from my employer calling, emailing, and faxing them for 3 months/me calling them every week to follow up and they have not done anything and l also gave them my paperwork in person during a visit for the doctor to fill out which they just threw away and claimed they never received it.) I went there the next day and waited for over 3 hours for the Dr. Hasan to finish all his patients before I was direct to Cardiology Manager and Clinical Manager (Ritt Berger) who was belligerent, negligent, ignorant, and incompetent who had an attitude and treated me with the most utter-worst disrespect and telling me that Dr. Hasan has spent to much time on this paperwork and doesn't want to fill it out/correct it.They were more concerned about getting paid $20.00 for filling out the form rather than them causing me a hardship financially. Also the person in the front checking in clients/patients was clueless and did give a heck about the practice. I hope they train her to be more humane and competent. Just unacceptable behavior. If you are reading this do not go to this office or this doctor. They will waste your time and only care about charging your insurance to collect funds for their own profit. read more

Type of care and quality okay. Office experience... a nightmare. Giselle is the exception. Office manager has not responded to my calls, their own billing department requests, emails from office staff to call me. I'm requesting an overpayment that the front office stated in front of patients I hadn't paid. I paid at the moment on Nov 20,due to embarrassment. I sat down and verified my bank, and showed the employee my payments had processed and cleared, said to take it to billing. I had to prove to billing I had paid via the office text link for payment. Once this was cleared Nov 28, billing emailed office manager submitting my request for refund on overpayment. On Jan 8, 2024 Meg, declined my call, told office staff to tell me they were holding the money until my insurance cleared another charge. I left a voicemail and told her that since Nov 28,2023 I requested my money, 2 months later she's deciding to hold my money until...they were too fast to say I wasn't paying when indeed I was, she has no right to hold my money. Walking into the Davie Boulevard office for a regular appointment last week, I was told at the front desk that in 10 days, Vanguard would no longer accept my Aetna insurance for any of my physicians at their facility. Vanguard decided to cull Aetna patients from their medical practice, and in the middle of the year! Dr. Harro, an excellent doctor, had established me with several specialists. Now, eight months later, the administration tells me to find all new doctors. Shame on the Vanguard administration for failing to return calls or caring about me as a patient and a person. Vanguard had been playing games with me. Several months ago, I received a letter from Aetna saying that Vanguard had dropped out of Aetna. At that time Vanguard denied they had discontinued and kept me as their patient. Now, I have until September 1st to locate a new GP cardiologist, et al. Vanguard's administration is making an excellent group of doctors and staff look uncaring and confused. I could tell that the doctors and staff did not feel that I was being treated fairly. Dr Carlos Haro is a great doctor. The office staff have issues scheduling patients. They schedule a few patients at the same time and you always have to wait 1 to 2 hours to get in to see the doctor. They have absolutely no respect for individuals time. I will definitely be looking for another doctor where the office staff know how to schedule patients. read more

Dr Haro and his office are The absolute worst!! Plan to wait at least an hour and a half if you make an appointment. Dr Haro doe's not even apologize for making you wait so long. And the people at the front desk are completely unresponsive I was supposed to have a prescription emailed to me and I've made 30 phone calls to the office because I still have not gotten anything from them. I go to see Dr. subhani cause I have paperwork that need to be filled out for a job. When I show up to get the appointment they check and say no problem. So I show up the day of my Appointment and am there an hr and a half just to be told The Dr. can't do it. Since I don't have insurance it cost me 100 which was refunded. read more

The worst medical office I have come across !!!! Dr.HARO the most unprofessional doctor I have meet. Never keeps his appointments last three times I have made and appointment he has either come over hour late or just doesn't show up at all. Last appointment I waited hour an to find out that he wasn't even in the office. So I personally called him to see whether I'm going to be seen his response was that whenever I make an appointment with him I have to give him a 2 hour window ?!?!? So what's the point of making an appointment.. Saw Dr Hasan 1 hour and 45 min after appointment time, he was so rushed, literally walking out the exam room door as I was still asking a question! They have a sign on the wall that says if you call us with a question and leave a voicemail we will answer you within 72 hours!! It says something like if you cannot wait that long, drive over there. My experience at Vanguard Medical was terrific! I can't remember the last time I visited a Doctor's office (any medical service office for that matter) and was treated as a human being and not just a number; at Vanguard Medical, they actually took the time to understand my needs and the time spent with Dr. Hasan was appropriate for me to fully comprehend my condition and decide on treatment recommended, he truly made sure to make me feel that I was under the best medical care. This is the worst medical service I have ever had in Florida! I have a cardio condition for which the doctor ordered a stress test. I requested an appointment for the test and was there on time (in August). After two hours of waiting I asked why it was so delayed and the lady said that the machine was broken (I am sure this was a lie!). From then I had not been able to take another appointment, they ask me to leave a message for a further call but they never do it! I had to change doctor, thanks God there are plenty of other places to do it! But I think that Vanguard do not take the health of their patients seriously. read more

If I can give them minus negative zero stars I would. The worst place I have ever come across. The first dr I saw told me I was depressed because I needed more friends and needed to lose weight - good thing I am not suicidal. Switched to another dr my appt was at 7:30pm and I was seen at almost 10pm. The person who provides referrals never will call you back. This was my Dr for over 5 years, Vanguard sucks, they do not answer the phone, even to refill prescriptions noone calls you back for 1 day or 2. appointments are made and you have to wait 2-3 hours to see the Dr., then you see him for 5 min, they have had all my insurance info since the getco, they failed to bill 2 not 1 insurance carrier within 1 year, so they had their billing dept., call me from New York, noone spoke English, I gave them the same info Vanguard had since 2015 they failed to bill within 1 year so now they put $340 on my credit as a collection. I am going to report them to Medicaid as billing fraud I know 2 patients who go there to get narcotics filled they are addicts and on Medicaid. I have nothing to hide so it is out there for all you people to make conscious decision find another Dr. who sincerely cares for you not bills you your co-pay plus when their revolving door of employees do not do their job they slap it with a shitty collection company to put on your credit. Stay away from them they should be shut down by the State of Florida as they distribute pills to drug addicts. The DEA should be notified oh I will do that as well. I am not hiding they know who I am noone in the office can ever get on the phone to resolve anything, but you better pay you co pay upfront or you won't get in after 2-3 of waiting. Got a groupon for laser hair removal on the face. I thought it would be a safe choice since it's a medical clinic with doctors on staff and not a random cosmetic place. First, I asked if they could do it around my eyebrows. The girl didn't use a guard or anything to save my eyebrow shape and took off half my eyebrow. I didn't let her touch it again so most hair has finally grown back but it took a long time and a lot of pencling in. I later found out that techs are never supposed to do it on that area anyway because it's too sensitive. I had to schedule around them for appointments because of staff shortage and limited time. I even took off work a couple of times to keep appointment but they always call the day of and ask to reschedule. Mind you, the appointment is not set for the closest available but a week or two later, which probably affects the laser effectiveness. Don't go here for laser removal...try some other establishment. read more
