Only reason I give 1 star is the Frank Sinatra and Buddy Holly impersonators were good. But we were going for the main show, Elvis. I started weeks before trying to call and leaving messages. Never got hold of anyone or return call. Walking in it is drab and showing its years. Clean but dingy. I had been here about 20 yrs before and the place would be packed. 3 days before the performance I was able to get front row center seats for the 2 of us. That should have told me something. That and the fact when the show started, only the first 2 rows had anyone in them. The Elvis music came on, I was excited, and out walked a short dumpy male with a cheap toupee and glued on sideburns with black eyebrow liner. Non looked professional. He didn't sound like Elvis and couldn't move like Elvis. I'm a nurse and once thought he was going into a seizure, I was concerned! He went down on one knee in front of us and almost fell off the stage! Near the end he started talking about the blues brothers coming back and told us we had been watching one of them. He continued to brag about being one of the blues brothers, my granddaughter yelled out that it explains it, we knew we weren't watching Elvis. We wasted over $90 for this show! He went on talking about how tired he was and couldn't do as well because he spent the day touring a college campus and how much they had walked that day. And how he wasn't the normal Elvis!! He sang what he said was one of his favorite songs. I expected an Elvis song but he started talking about Olivia Newton John and sang one of her songs!! We had the absolute BEST time. We got the tickets as something different that we could all do as a family. Our kids got in free, which was a HUGE plus and rarity in Pigeon Forge & we got to choose our own seats. We were able to take photos with the Acts after the show and that didn't cost a dime either. We saw the Acts of Tanya Tucker, Hank Jr & Elvis. But they have so many more! They all really did such an awesome job and had great crowd interaction as well. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our ages ranged from 6 years old to 72 years old (men and women) And every one of us had a good time. I wasn't paid or compensated at all to leave this review. We attended this event (1/3/25) We try to come to Gatlinburg every year for New Years and this will now be on our "must do" list when we come. read more

Well the three performers we saw where great!! There were only 39 people in the audience And it probably holds about 500. We were under the impression that we would see a bunch of different acts. We were so disappointed that they only show 3 performers a night. It wasn't made clear when we bought the tickets. Wasn't very professional. Like I said the performances we saw were great, just wish there were more! Honestly don't know how the place is still open. read more

Best show in Pigeon Forge! The performers are super talented. Cast was entertaining and kept the momentum going. The acoustics in the theater were crisp. Loved how the cast engaged the audience and their patriotism. Regarding other reviews on the politics incorporated in the show, I found it refreshing that "woke" agendas weren't being forced on me, similar to the show next door. Love that they recognized our veterans and really strived to entertain us all. The price is very reasonable and I appreciated that it wasn't a dinner theater experience. I find the food poor at most of those venues and super expensive. Don't miss this show while visiting PF! You won't regret it. PS: the seats are comfortable too! read more

We went to listen to music and have a good time, not lisren to politics! If we wanted to hear about politics we would have stayed home. And we thought the Elvis was rude! We went last year and heard the same but always give people a second chance. We won't be going back to memories theater. I miss how it was when Dee was there. This was a fun evening. We went to Icons which included Marilyn Monroe, Loretta Lynn, Blue Brothers and Elvis Presley. The comedy was cute through out. Parts were hilarious! The vocals seemed to be fine. But the sound system was terrible! It was very loud and very very distorted. I don't know how the entertainers could maintain their pitch (sometimes they couldn't). It was so bad. Haven't sound systems come down in price? Maybe something from Costco would be better than what they are currently using? Go for the Fun, the Comedy, the Vocals but not for the Music! read more

A fantastic show in its own right. I have fond memories of coming here as a teenager in the late 90s for the Elvis tribute and the original "legends" show. While the show today is different and initially had me comparing it to the days when Lou Vuto performed with a live band here, soon I found this show to be great in its own way. She raves about this place, and loves to go out with the girls, and see the impersonators...Her favorite is Conway Twitty...Apparently there are alot of them Dolly, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Conway Twitty etc... it brings back memories to many folks...she giggles, and said it's fun to watch the women get excited about the Elvis performance they line up for a scarf...and kiss. It's like a slumber party come alive for these ladies. What fun Pigeon Forge is for getting folks out from in front of the tube, and having so much fun. We decided about 15 minutes before this show started to check it out. It wasn't a planned event but we were really looking for one show that had some oldies and not necessarily a bunch of pop and such as had been inter-mixed in a couple of the other shows. We caught the matinee and even though this wasn't the big production like the evening shows, it was absolutely wonderful. We loved everything about it. The cast was marvelous, the host exciting ... what can we say? It was a great performance and one of the best we went to in Pigeon Forge. It was even better than we expected. The host introduced his wife and daughter. They are part of the show. His daughter is an 18-year old and so talented. We loved her too. read more

Great show! Excellent performances! And not ashamed of our God and country! I was going to name a favorite, but they were all amazing!

First impression there was dark. There were no house lights on in the theatre. It's unreasonable to ask people to find their seats in an unfamiliar environment, especially elderly and disabled individuals. The auditorium in the Memories Theatre was hot and stuffy. There didn't seem to be any air circulating and appeared to have no air conditioning. In contrast, the lobby and concession stand areas were cool and comfortable. It was not comfortable in the auditorium because of the temperature. The show was very loud. I seem to remember someone coming on our tour bus before we descended off the bus warning us that the must would be loud because they would be live streaming the show. I sort of chuckled and thought how loud can it be. However, shortly into the Icons show the music was so loud that it reverberated off of the walls and distorted the song lyrics. The performers and performances were average in my opinion. With the exception being Michael Jackson who was very good. The billed Elvis Presley as their headline act, but sadly he fell short. As he didn't have the voice nor the energy to pull off an Elvis Presley impersonation. Both the master of ceremonies and the Elvis Presley impersonator told "jokes" surrounding people's cognition, memory or lack there of. Their jokes were in bad taste and inappropriate. As I was chaperoning a group of elderly people and people with cognitive impairments and intellectual disabilities their "jokes" and punch lines did not set well with me. Fellows jokes are not funny when someone gets their feelings hurt, and none of us like to be mocked or made fun of. The theatre was dated and could have used a good cleaning, which also goes for the restroom. There was one HANDICAPPED accessible ladies restroom, and someone had taken a red marker and written on the outside of the door OUT OF ORDER. Yet people were still using it and it seemed to be working fine. We had no idea why out of order was scribed on the outside of the door. In a vacation spot such as Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg are vying for your time, attention and tourist dollars, unfortunately the Memories Theatre fell shot. I have thought long and deliberated about writing and posting this review as I hate to give any business a bad review. But after considerable recollections and weighing out the pros and the cons, I can honestly and earnestly say that the cons of the Memories theatre outweighs the pros by a considerable amount. The Memories theatre would not make my top ten picks of must see shows and attractions in the Pigeon forge, and Gatlinburg area. The good news is that the Memories theatre has much room for improvement, so I hope that they roll up their sleeves and get to work. And as a matter of principle, I will just close by restating that making fun of someone's memory or cognition or lack there of is not funny nor appropriate, and those jokes and rhetoric needs to be dropped from their acts immediately. We are living in the year 2024 and we should be welcoming all individuals into our theatres and business and by poling fun of them and making them the butt of your jokes that is a far cry from inclusivity and welcoming. OUR SENIORS AND DISABLED FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS SHOULD BE GARNERED THE SAME LEVEL OF RESPECT THAT YOUR OTHER GUESTS RECEIVE, AND IF YOU CAN GIVE THEM THE RESPECT THAT THEY DESERVE THEN MOVE OVER BECAUSE SOME ONE ELSE CAN. Honestly- when we walked in, it was not what we were expecting. the lobby is obviously older not updated at all. and there was not an actual gift shop. there was an area in the lobby that had things for sale. We went into the theater and there were steps the isles are slow descending ramps. easy for everyone. After the lobby I was a little apprehensive about what i might have gotten my in laws into. I soon realized we didn't buy tickets for the lobby. we bought tickets for the show, and what a show it was. we had front row seat and it was fantastic. We saw impersonators of Wynonna, Buddy Holly, Jason Aldean and of course Elvis Presley. Each performer had the moves and mannerisms and voices down so well. I sent my son & daughter in law a picture of Jason Aldean and they thought we were at his concert. I was still skeptical about Elvis. I am a life time Elvis fan and have seen many Elvis impersonates, have seen all the movies, documentaries and read all the books. When they introduced the manager of the theater as the Elvis Impersonator I was not greatly impressed. However when he stepped onto the stage and opened his mouth I was captivated. He is one of the best if not the best Elvis Impersonator I have ever seen. his mannerisms, his voice, his closing speech were really amazing and no matter what the lobby looked liked we will be going back and we will taking our adult children and grand children. read more

We saw the Elvis and legends show. Overall, the show didn't meet the most basic expectations. Patsy was great and very professional but with the other performers you'd get either good singing or good dancing but never both. As for the theater itself it was maybe 20% full and you will sit on old seats with older decorations. It is about $29 a ticket. A fine show for $5 but nothing more. Elvia did forget the song order, but with some help from his backup singer he got back on track. Older folks did seem to enjoy, but not a family show. More of a locals place. read more

We took my parents here to see "Elvis & Friends". It was well worth the entry fee. Fabulous performances by fabulous singers! They captured the nuances, the moves, and the sound of each of the singers they impersonated including Willie Nelson, Donnie & Marie, Marilyn Monroe, Celine Dion, and Elvis. The Magic Spectacular Show was GREAT at the Memories Theater! I found tickets for 4 on Groupon for $20. I figured you get what you pay for and wasn't expecting much. Attractions in Pigeon Forge are usually outrageously priced, and this was a real treat for just $20! WOW! This was our first time at MEMORIES & our first visit to Pigeon Forge! There are sooooooo many choices of venues & shows, but a local resident we met at Cheddars, told us about MEMORIES - that it is longest running club of 26 years in Pigeon Forge, because it is The Best! Ok, so I have never seen tribute artists, so a little hesitant - & shockingly, I LOVED the show! Especially enjoyed TINA TURNER & ELVIS! The sound system was incredible! Very professional & the lighting system was impressive! The musicians were AMAZING & The sets were great! Definitely will recommend this 5 stars! Can't wait to go back! read more

Elvis and Friends, was very disappointed. It should be called Willie and friends because the Willie Nelson performer was the only one in the whole show that was successful in imitating the character. I saw the real Elvis in concert but this guy wasn't even close to his voice or stage presents. Marilyn was a joke with her high pitched voice. read more
