This venue is great! It's probably one of the oldest theaters in the area that is still running under the same name. The show did not disappoint it was entertaining, the talent was outstanding, and the price was on point. I would recommend anyone that enjoys a good theatrical performance with music and dancing, this is the place you want to make sure that you get a ticket. Tickets are easy to get, usually available the same night if your plans change and you need to pivot. The venue is large but not too large, and they actually have some pretty decent concerts lined up at the same time. Check them out you won't be disappointed. read more

This is a difficult review to write as both my husband and I had mixed feelings about the show. Full disclosure: we were visiting Pigeon Forge as tourists, and we're not huge country fans nor are we familiar with all of the country greats. That said, we found the all of the performers were all exceptional -- including the singers, the dancers, and the band. However, we found the show itself to be frenzied. The dancers often seemed to be classically dancing to the country songs. The performers jumped quickly from song to song, at times seeming to sing only song segments. We experienced "sensory overload" because most songs had singers, dancers, the band, and changing lights -- all at the same time. Also, we weren't familiar with many of the songs. We most enjoyed the song "Jolene", and appreciated the salute to Veterans. The entire show was two hours, including a 15-minute intermission. Our seats, booked the day of the performance, we're good. Parking was free and plentiful. Concessions are available for purchase. read more

Very impressed with the quality of the instrumentalists, vocalists, dancers, comedy, and costuming. Wholesome entertainment for all ages. My only suggestion is for the song choices to be all chart topping popular numbers. Many of the songs I had never heard of in my life, and I am a big country music fan. Lots of country music by talented performers. Would like the show even better with more classic country music performed. Dancers,singers, and musicians gave it their all. The performers were available after the show for those who wanted to take their own photos with them. Nice snack bar options. There is also a souvenir shop. We were looking for something interesting for after dinner (wasn't interested in overpriced chicken dinners with show that seem extremely overpriced - i.e., $180 for 2 people). Less than half the price, great show with enthusiastic performers who seem to all enjoy their work, if they call it that. We've been to this area many times over the years, and this was our first time here. Our friends went to a UT football game, and we opted for music and comedy. I think we had a better time! The singing was very good, as was the choreography & dancers. The band was on stage for the entire show, and they were fantastic. The adult female singers had good voices & were entertaining. The men sang and played the guitar, except for the Johnny Cash singer and Bubba. Bubba was the comedic part of the show. He came out four times - as Mee Ma & Pa Paw 2 of those times. He was very funny, and sang pretty well. When the video of singers who have passed away was shown, we wished their names had been shown. We weren't familiar with most of them. Later, the singers sang songs of legends who have passed on, and their names were displayed. That was a good touch! We had our photo taken when we first entered. We didn't buy it or the DVD of the show. We're happy with our memories, which are very good! read more

Went to opening night of 2025. it was incredible!!! The performers are SO talented! The costume changes are remarkable. I think they change every 2 or 3 minutes! The performers have to be exhausted just from that. One of the singers, Brooke, shines when they sing the gospel songs. Her love for God is so contagious. They do a great range of country stars. I would most definitely recommend this show on your next visit to Pigeon Forge! read more

I can't actually express how bad this was. We've come every year for 15+ years and this year we had to force ourselves not to walk out during intermission for old times sake. The singers are no good anymore, the dancing was out of sync, costumes were disappointing to say the least. I can appreciate children having some stage time but would expect them to at least be talented. Wowza... it was rough and the venue was practically empty. I can see why. The Christmas decorations were laughable up until the end of the show. Hate that it's gone so down hill! Hoping it can be saved before it's gone for good. My suggestions: Play some songs people actually know, lean more into the talent of the band... the violinist had a solo during the Christmas half and it was the saving grace of the show. read more

We tried this show in 2019 and we loved it and ever since we've been going there when we come to Pigeon Forge,Tennessee for vacation. The singers are so very talented and they just bring so excitement to the crowd. In the hallway to go to the bathroom they have dresses from Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, etc. They have a good selection of things to buy in the gift shop like jewelry, shirts, hats, animals, etc. When you go in the entrance they take your picture and after the show you can buy the picture. I love how they show appreciation to all the Veterans for all that they do and celebrate Christ during Christmas. When you come to visit the Smokies or just live there, come to Country Tonite. You won't be disappointed. read more

Attended the show last night. The band and the vocalist were great. Was thinking how I wished the harmonic player was featured more. Then he played the most beautiful gospel song, could have listened to him for hours. The bass guitarist has to the best looking young man in Tennessee . Great show. I think this is the best show in the Smokies or Pigeon Forge. I have been here several times over 15 years and I think this is the best. And I have been to just about every show here in Pigeon Forge. Now, This review is for their December 2014 Christmas show. The first part was country and the second part was Christmas. They great singers and entertainers that perform. Some of them stay for a long time. The entertainment includes singing and dancing. They sing all different kinds of music including country, blues, rock, Christian and blue grass. Been coming to Pigeon Forge for years and had never done a show. This one has be around forever and is reasonably priced. So we decided to do this on the evening of Black Friday. We went to the 8 o'clock show. The crowd was light, parking was easy. This is one of those places that take your picture on the way in so you will have an opportunity to buy it on the way out the door. We had seats on the 4th row and it was great to be so close to the performers. I love a good cover band and these folks did a good job with song choice and song arrangements. The singers and dancers were very good. And the costume changes were quick and fun. I was a big fan of Willow the 17 year old banjo picker with an amazing voice... but all the talent worked together well. This is a fun show. read more

The Christmas show was depressing. The only good part of it was the rendition of Rudolph. They advertised as a Christmas show but the first hour was their standard country show. They took a 15 minute intermission and then performed 45 minutes of Christmas entertainment with most of the songs I have never heard of. On a positive note, the young African American male dancer is amazing. He should be utilized and allowed to sing more. read more

We went to the 3PM Christmas performance last week. We sat in the front row and had a great view. Overall, the performance was good, not great. The cast was thin. There were not enough performers. We went to the Opry Christmas show the night prior and they had a cast of over 50 people. The Opry performance was far superior. Country Tonite used just 16 people throughout. Brinkley, the 11 year old girl, was a good singer but not amazing and they relied on her too much to carry the show. She sang solos nearly 1/3 of the time. The performers did a good job overall. The vocalists were fabulous, especially the ladies and the tenor. The dancers were gifted and energetic and the costumes were gorgeous. My favorite part was the quartet vocal performance at the end and the vocal impressionist. I did not care for the slapstick comedy routine. They need to upgrade their sound system; the sound is sometimes muffled. The grainy video showing the story of Jesus was very dated and should have been excluded. I would not come back unless they add more crew and update their technology. read more

This is the best show I've been to in Pigeon Forge. The singing and dancing is the best in the area. They cover many of the top songs in the country market. The singers in the show very well accomplished and do an amazing job. One of the nicest things do is to recognize the veterans during the show. They all come out in the audience and show gratitude to all of those who served. This is something you don't often see and frankly many forget the sacrifice that veterans have made for the US. If you are looking for a good show this one is not to be missed. I will come back in the future. read more

The cast here puts on a great show. There are many costume changes and a great experience. The building on the outside looks so nice but when you go in the CI cession area has limited choices and not even fountain drinks. There are minimal souvenirs. When walking into the auditorium it smells musky and there have never been seating upgrades. Great show for the cost read more

This is another top musical we visited in Pigeon Forge. It doesn't get much better than what is performed at the Country Tonite Theatre. We loved every part of this performance. There are top singers with top voices performing here. We also loved the comedy. Two up and coming young stars were on the stage for the performance we watched. One was an AMAZING ten-year old. He could out sing the best of them. Also, a very talented 14-year played the banjo and sang. Again, marvelous entertainers. The only thing here we could not understand was how many times these two young kids performed. It was more than the adult singers. We loved them but thought they were used a little too much. We were amazed with how talented they were but thought they were over-used. A little like fudge. There was just enough comedy to be really good. We had some great laughs. We really enjoyed the show. The costumes, dancing and voices were amazing. We were especially taken with the salute to the veterans. Very nicely done. read more
