First time my husband and I saw the show. Loved it. Will go back. We laughed all night!!

They're anti-2A and anti-Law Enforcement. Went with my family and as a federal law enforcement officer, was carrying concealed as I do EVERYWHERE. Not only was I informed that concealed permit holders are prohibited from carrying inside, but that law enforcement officers not actively responding to a call in the venue were also prohibited. Yet, the armed security guard at the door with 3.5 minutes of training was allowed inside with a firearm. I spoke with the manager who was very nice and understanding and agreed to refund my tickets. I'm sure there are folks reading this who disagree with me on this and that's fine. I chose not to be a sheep in a world where wolves are everywhere dressed in sheep's clothing. You do you though. I grew up in Tennessee, so this was the absolute last thing I expected in a conservative, pro-2A state. How does a business that takes this stance survive? read more

A group from our church (40 of us) was visiting the Gatlinburg area and decided to do the Comedy Barn. I was the bus driver. When we arrived they had me turn the bus around and park next to the side walk next to the building (super nice). * The staff were super nice and very helpful with our senior adults. This is not a dinner show. They do have snacks and popcorn you can purchase. * The humor in the show was corny but funny and entertaining. * The band in the show and between skits were very good. I feel it's definitely worth seeing and definitely family friendly. The place is clean including the restrooms. read more

This was an amazingly uplifting and positive experience for my daughters and I. An evening of family friendly fun and laughter. We truly enjoyed our evening here and would look forward to returning in the future. It was such a breath of fresh air to kick back and just enjoy a positive atmosphere where everyone was able to just let go and enjoy the moment. The food was your standard theatre fare with popcorn, pretzels, candy and snacks. This is not a full meal dinner theater, but ample snacks are available for purchase in the main lobby. They take your photo which ladies will try to sell to you later for a price. (We declined due to the cost and we felt it didn't add/subtract anything from our experience.) We loved the show's content and the performers were quite talented, energetic, and precise in their timing. There were segments that included animals (dogs) so if someone in your party is allergic, I would recommend not sitting close to the stage. This experience is appropriate for all ages and cognitive levels, as there are stunts, dancing segments, jokes, and more to enjoy that keeps the audience engaged throughout the evening. The only change I would make is to make the females' costumes a bit more family friendly/modest. They are designed to gain men's attention thus not truly enforcing the family values of unity and respect within a marital relationship. read more

It definitely wasn't worth the $34.99 for a ticket! You might think that visiting a place called the "Comedy Barn" would guarantee some comedy. But no, it felt more like a country music concert. (I can't stand country music.) The Comedy Barn had a band that played for most of the two-hour show. The silly animal tricks took up another large chunk of the performance. I don't understand the connection between animals and comedy, but it wasn't funny at all. The only good part was a comedian named "Danny," but his appearance was too brief. They really need to hire more comedians rather than actual band members or people doing animal tricks. read more

This was the highlight of my whole trip! I have not laughed this hard in years. The show was absolutely amazing. Everyone was hilarious and I LOVED the audience interaction. I laughed sooo hard I had tears running down my face several times. So ladies fair warning wear waterproof makeup. I can't wait to come back and bring my kids to see the show. This is just an all around good wholesome show for any age. Have been to this show many times over the years, and I just attended again over the weekend. I must say, it is not worth the money anymore. Music is good, but what the show is built on is lacking. Comedy is lack luster at best. It is clean, but just not funny. The guy with the ping pong balls is great, but everything else falls way short of their standards in the past. Great show! The Brits would call it a variety act. The humor was clean no naughty jokes as a previous attendee mentioned no puppets either. The bird pre show was entertaining and impressive The band was great and the MC can really play a harmonica We went with 7 people and found the seats comfortable the audience participation great and the humor genuinely great for all ages. The bathrooms were clean The prices for snacks were reasonable for the area and the single scoop size of the ice cream was formidable We definitely recommend this if you are in the area. I would rather rip my ears off and claw my eyes out than sit through another long, dated, tired, and out-of-touch performance of the show the all-white cast and crew put on at The "Comedy" Barn. Like, have they been putting on the same show since Reagan was in office? The "clean comedy" and "family fun" advertised might read that way if you haven't left the small town you grew up in for the entirety of your life, but for the rest of us, the jokes were just lazy. There was a whole segment featuring a man holding a puppet (puppeteer is too kind a descriptor) who looked like he could use a shower and a week's worth of rest. He proceeded to tell the greatest hits of the "old lady joke" variety. If the jokes about sagging breasts don't get you down, the children laughing at them will. Puppet dude was not a bug but a feature. It was all just as bad. There is a big music component of the show which I expected, after all, we were in the land that Dolly built. I live and grew up in Appalachia. If you look under a rock here, you can find a talented musician who can play you a classic tune or sing you a ballad. Where did The Comedy Barn find their musical "talent?" One of the featured singers was so flat and off-tune that my kids were plugging their ears with their fingers. It was not a bit, either. The comedy that the barn promised came in the form of a Dolly wannabee who clearly could not cut it in Nashville and wanted to take it out on the audience. Yikes! Okay, now let's move on to the venue itself. The bathroom situation is unreal. During intermission, there was a line that stretched through the lobby into the theatre until it hit the stage. I am talking 100+ people (not hyperbole!) in line to get to the bathroom. I think there were four stalls for hundreds of people in attendance. Naturally, the lines for concessions moved faster (they make money) but finding where those lines actually end is hell. Because the lines for the bathroom weaved through the lobby, where concessions are sold along with gifts, there was constant confusion of where one line started and the other ended. I fully admit that I was not the target audience for this show. I do not watch Fox News. I am under the age of 80 but over the age of 8. I like living in the 21st century and think that the future is bright. I do not have trad wife fantasies. I want my kids to celebrate and respect women, the elderly, and people who might not look or think exactly like they do. This was just awful. read more

This place needs to update and add more bathrooms. The lines for the bathroom were outrageous. Literally 50-70 people in line like a snake weaving in and out. There was 7 bathroom stalls. Food was 3 or 4 counters and about 30 min for snack, was $7 for a soda. Lobby was super super hot. The show was from 7pm-915pm with a 15 min intermission. One of the guys was extremely annoying who kept squeaking his shoes. They had cats doing tricks which was pretty cute. My daughter has been here a few times and said last time she went they had birds doing tricks. They also had kids come on stage to do a skit. Was funny at times. read more

Our family tries to visit The Comedy Barn often. We appreciate the wholesome entertainment that our entire family can appreciate. One act might not be enjoyed by one of us, yet another thinks it's great! There's definitely something for everyone. The comedy is G-rated. That's rare! We don't like the ugly, foul-mouthed, jokes that tv offers. And we appreciate the fact that when you call, you get a love person. When you pick up your tickets, they're paper from a person in front of the building. They're down-to-earth and truly attempt to make the show enjoyable for everyone. While we were visiting, Mike Lindell (the My Pillow guy) was there with his new wife. They sat beside us and we're so friendly. Thanks, TCB staff, for being so funny and keeping it clean! read more

I think I may have enjoyed this if I'd had young children with me who were enjoying it. I did see quite a few children and they seemed to be enjoying it. I love comedy, but I guess I appreciate adult/standup comedy, which this wasn't. There was a segment with cats performing tricks, and a few oddball comedy sketches and one-liners mixed with tap dancing, guitar/banjo playing, and some country music. I would relate this to a variety show, maybe HeeHaw. So if you like that kind or comedy, this is definitely your place. They also offer carnival type food (popcorn, funnel cakes, corn dogs) and $20 photos. read more

Show was fantastic. However, I was definitely disappointed in their service to us. As you know or will experience, in Gatlinburg no one will allow you to use the bathroom unless you are in their business. My wife and I had just walked in and purchased tickets to the 7pm show for around $75. It was around 5:50pm. No other customers there. Two ladies at the counter. My wife needed to use the restroom. She asked if there was a bathroom she could use. I was looking at the bathroom door. The lady advised us we would have to come back around 6:30pm when the doors to the show opened to use their bathroom. Hospitality was zero in this situation. This comedy show is perfect for anyone and everyone in the family. The popcorn is fantastic and definitely priced fair. The atmosphere is designed to include you into having a fun filled night. I wish I could give the comedy barn 100 stars. Absolutely amazing! We often times find it hard taking our kids to places and feeling like they're not able to truly be kids. The comedy barn is so welcoming! One baby was crying and an employee said on stage to not feel bad about the baby because there aren't enough places in the world where families can enjoy things together. That really hit home for us. I was motivated to check this place out after watching a video of the show my cousin purchased when he went (which was many years before.) It seemed funny and entertaining, so I recommended it when I went to Gatlinburg with a group of friends. Welp, I was pretty disappointed, for many different reasons. First, it is much more entertaining for young children than adults. There are some funny jokes from time to time, don't get me wrong. But what bothered me the most was that the whole show was a big promotion for the toys in their gift shop... so. many. times. Just about every skit involved a gag/toy that could be purchased after the show, and they made sure to give you a sales pitch after every skit. It was so distasteful, gimmicky and annoying. And to have to pay the expensive Pigeon Forge price for the show was even worse. So parents, if you don't want to be pressured into buying your kids overpriced merchandise afterward, I recommend you stay away from Comedy Barn and try something else during your next vacation. read more

Great Atmosphere and a fun night of entertainment. The people are all nice and the show is funny for all. The concessions were busy and the food was a little pricy but it was overall pretty good (food-wise). It is probably a better experience for a family or group with younger children as they would definitely enjoy it more, but they do a great job of including jokes and humor for everyone while still keeping it appropriate for the whole family.
