I will admit, sometimes there are large clumps of cheese concentrated in one spot which I don't love but I just throw it in the microwave at home and then mix it with a fork. I have ordered here many times through restaurant delivery services. The main advantage of this restaurant is the cost, prices are low especially for their meals. My favorite is their Chicken Chimichanga; it is very filling and comes with sides. Beware though if you use a delivery service. They make a lot of mistakes when fulfilling orders and you may not get what you ordered. read more

I figured it out. This place has a bunch of folks lingering about offering to sell me various drugs. Most of which are designed to slowwwww down your digestive system. Memo's food is chock full of magical bacteria that brings blasting quick relief to the constipated. I would imagine the gut howling roaring fart noises just entertains them. Bonus. If ur gonna serve fried food to go do it properly the container was soaked in oil and our shells were so soggy they were falling apart. They did taste good but they don't season anything very blan. I had my apprehensions coming here when I pulled up and saw the colorful paint job outside, the drive-thru (insta-fast food reaction here), and entered and saw the meager furnishings. But, I'm not kidding you, this has been the most authentic (and yummy) Mexican food that I've had in all of Washington thus far (and trust me, that's been hard coming from California). I got a combination plate with a beef taco and beef enchilada. It was served with rice and refried beans. The taco was deliciously crunchy. The enchilada was not overwhelmingly big, and it was really a treat. Even the rice and beans were quite tasty. Ya it may be a bit sketch and ya someone may have crashed into their drive through sign (at least that's what we're assuming) but there is typically always a line of cars on Friday and Saturday nights and it ain't for nothing. Now, let me tell you about my taste experience... You get a decent amount of food with your combo. However, the carne asada is very lacking in flavor. I tried to load it up with salt and their hot sauce, but it didn't do much for the flavor. The tortila that they give you is very large in size though. The fish taco taste like fried fish w/tartar sauce, it was pretty disappointing. It is a decent size fish taco. I don't think i'll be going back here to eat. We go to the Memo's in Auburn often, and we like it pretty well. We very much appreciate that it's open 24/7, because sometimes the middle of the night is the only time our schedule allows for us to go out to eat. It's not the best Mexican food, or even the cheapest, but it's not bad at all, and the prices are reasonable. We tried the Tacoma Memo's a few weeks ago, and the Everett a few nights ago. We didn't like either one at all. They are both tiny and gross. It is really filthy inside, and the glimpse I got into their kitchen had me worried right away about possible food poisoning. Luckily, I did not get sick, but my companion was not so lucky. He is Mexican, born and raised in Mexico, and his food standards are much lower than mine. He has an iron stomach, and can basically eat anything. I am an incredibly picky eater with a sensitive gag reflex, so I am super selective in what I order, and what I will eat. I ordered chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, which is my standard Memo's order. The enchilada sauce was a strange color, and it was SO salty, I could not eat it. I tried to just eat some of the chicken from inside the enchiladas, but it wasn't very good without any sauce. So I just ate my rice and beans. My companion ordered carne asada tacos. We didn't even make it the 5 minutes back to his work before he urgently needed a toilet. He spent the rest of the night in the bathroom. So no. I would not go here again, and I'm thankful I was not able to eat more of my food that night. read more

3/28/18 Walked in restaurant around 4pm to all tables being covered with food (rice, beans and lettuce) and floors being filthy. The salsa bar was also a mess. As I waited at the counter for 10 min (I was the only one in the restaurant, there were 6 cars in the drive thru) for someone to take my order I noticed that the Health Inspector was paying a visit to the restaurant. I over heard some pretty unhealthy food violations being discussed with the staff. Food was not at the proper temperature and the health inspector was worried about mold forming in the food. No one could give him a straight answer on when some of the food was made. Needless to say I left after I heard that discussion.
