In long They have been tearing it up a few minutes south of here, lost their lease, opened this one, and then re-opened the OG location not far from where it used to be. 2 brothers run the empire, one at each spot. It's a nicely crowded strip of good restaurants, among other businesses, on a busy stretch of 99 just up the highway from where 405 and 5 meet. Easy to get to. They don't have the crazy variety of proteins that some other local spots have, but the beef, chicken, and pork all show up as an option on most of the items. Tacos, burritos, plates, sopes, some other fun stuff. Big cooler of Jarritos sitting right where it should. It's a big dining room with at least a dozen tables, but the menu is nicely focused for sure. Staff are super friendly, and there's a pastry case up front by the register. Order up front so you can drool on the pastries...then they bring out your food. I had the steak picado, which was a nicely-seasoned mix of chopped skirt steak grilled on the flattop with chopped peppers. Good rice and beans and corn tortillas. But holy cow, those salsas. Just perfectly balanced. I just tried the ones they bring out automatically--next time I'll ask for a spicy one if they have it. These had just the right kick, using heat as part of the flavor rather than as a wrecking ball. I was out the door with a to-go plate for family, my big steak tacos plate, and a Jarritos for a little over $30. The kid behind the counter could not have been sweeter, and there was a steady stream of regulars getting to-go orders, even on St Patricks Day. We had a great lunch here. We ordered the chimichanga and asada fries. They were both really good. After ordering, our food was made quickly. It is small inside, but comfortable to sit and eat. There are about a dozen tables. There was music playing and some tvs that weren't on. The parking lot can be hard to get into because of the location of the entrance. It's a warm, friendly family run place. I ordered steak alambre, Fried mojarra, 2 side orders of crispy tripas, and 16 oz of pico de gallo. The mojarra and tripas were great. I had it with the yellow-ish hot sauce. If you like heat, don't waste your time with the standard red chili saw (which they offer along with the tomatillo verde). Ask for the 2 real hot sauces. They are flavorful, and spicy. You will like both, or at least one of them. The steak alambre was really good. They offer the alambre with all the proteins (chicken, steak or pork). I have driven past this place numerous times before I noticed it and when I did my gut was telling me to check them out. After a while I decided it was time. I pulled in and went inside. Very open place. They have the counter where you order from and next to it a display case where they have made in-house bakery items. They had empanadas which I thought were savory with meat but these were the panaderia kind or Mexican bakery style. I had already perused the menu prior to coming but still took my time. I love Mexican food but I usually keep to my favorite dish which is tacos. I ordered 4 tacos: two of each. Carne asada. Carnitas. Cabeza. Lengua. As she went to give my order to the cook, which turned out to be her father, I mentioned that my favorite meat is tripas. She said they have it. I uttered a loud gasp and she knew to put in two more. So in all I had ten tacos. The daughter, Ruby, allowed me to bore her with small talk while my food was being prepared. After everything was ready she asked if I like salsa. I said yes. I said preferably the verde. She then asks if i like spicy. I said yeah. She brought out two different salsas. Both were habaneros but one was creamy and the other standard. I thanked her profusely and went out to find my spot so I could enjoy these tacos. Let me tell you. These were by far the best tacos I've had in a long time. I'm not sure if the tortillas were handmade but they were exceptionally delicious. Excellent crisp. Held the grease and the meat well and was a perfect hug for the entire vessel of these tacos. Each meat was stand alone but as always my favorite were the tripas. They were so delicious. And the best part along with the tacos were the pickled veggies and radish that came with. They were not from a jar or can. I believe they were homemade. It's been a hard time finding good Mexican food. I'm originally from California and it's like ever since I left the state, the ease to which finding a good Mexican restaurant is few and far between. I'm not sure why but it's been a battle and journey. And whenever I find one i immediately do the opposite of gatekeeper and spread the news. I've been back several times and tried a plethora of dishes but the tacos are what is it for me. I've had the nachos and shrimp tacos. With rice and beans. Sausage and chorizo. Even the burrito. TL;DR: great and affordable food to satisfy your cravings! Taco meat is satisfying! The excellent food safety rating is definitely a plus! Great for dine-in for a quick bite or ToGo. The tacos are $2 each and I'd say about 6-8 are pretty filling for me. They come with 2 different containers of sauces, both were too spicy for my tastebuds but they were flavorful nonetheless. All tacos contain the meat of choice along with, chopped white onion, cilantro and some pickled carrot and radish on the size. I was really impressed with the meat flavors and texture. Each taco really didn't need sauce because the meats were salted and flavored enough -- just a squeeze of lime did the trick for me! The texture of the meats really wowed me -- slightly crispy on the outside and not burnt at all but still tender on the inside. Very satisfying! Also, big fan of the double taco layer to prevent rips and unnecessary loss of taco bowels. No Taco Tuesday specials because every day is special, haha. Parking: small shared lot with the gas station: Atmosphere: located inside the mini mart of the gas station, limited counter height tables and chairs. Service: order and pay at the front, your order will be called. Kid Friendly: no high chairs. Menu: located above the cash register and above the pick up zone. Horchata: was too sweet in my opinion. It also has dairy in it for anyone sensitive -- they used sweetened condensed milk. There was a hint of cinnamon in it but no ground cinnamon in the drink itself -- it was pure white. However, we weren't blown away by this spot. T.T. can be found within an unassuming convenience store. It's kind of great because you can get additional snacks and have a huge selection of drinks to choose from. There is a seating area near the kitchen where you can enjoy your food. The restaurant staff seemed friendly. We ended up getting asada, pollo, carnitas and adobada tacos. Honestly, they were.... Fine? However there wasn't a lot of flavor. We depended on the salsas to add something to the tacos. Despite what some reviews have stated, neither of the salsa options were spicy. Maybe we went on an off day when the marinade wasn't great or the seasonings were off. Imagine our heartbreak when we found out that their contract with the Top Market and Deli convenience store has ended. This isn't just a loss for us burrito aficionados--it's a tragedy for Mexican cuisine lovers everywhere. And let's be honest, the convenience store probably ran better because of them. I mean, who's going to top those adobada burritos? Nobody, that's who. The prices were more than reasonable, and the staff? Absolute gems. Their kindness and the quality of their food made every visit a delight. I'm holding onto hope that they'll set up shop somewhere else soon because the world needs their burritos. We heard of this place from looking through yelp and am super happy that it's close by to home. Definitely will be a go-to place for some tacos and fries whenever I'm craving for them. This place is located inside Top Market and Deli, and you would order at the cash register of the store. The people was nice and they brought the food to our car so we didn't have to wait indoors for the food. We got: Carne Asada Fries: mmmmmm this was sooo good. Fries filled with cheese, beef, and sour cream. It was hot and fresh and just delicious. And for around $9, you get a generous portion. 3 tacos ($1.75 / piece): We got chicken, chorizo, and beef. THese are pretty decent tacos, filled with meat, onions, and cilantro. They gave us a few radish and carrots as well. The meat was a little dry and kinda bland but the sauce they provided us definitely balance it out. Speaking of sauce, these sauce are pretty delicious. They are the smaller type of type of taco (on the double flour tortilla), so it's not necessarily cheap. Had the asada and the adobada, and the meat had the nice type of crispy char. Holy moly talk about a hidden gem! This is one of the most under-the-radar taco places you'll ever find, and it most definitely lives up to the hype associated with a "hole in the wall". Taqueria Talpense is built into this tiny little convenience store in Bothell. You literally wouldn't even be able to guess there's a restaurant inside of it from the outside. But as soon as you step inside there's no mistake that there's something GOOD cooking in there! They do street-style taco's, so those cute little ones that you'll usually eat 2 or 3 of in one meal. They are all abundantly flavorful. Can't go wrong no matter which one you get. The fish one is larger and more "American" style, but slightly more expensive. The fried fish inside that fish taco is SUPER good and definitely worth it though. We've also tried their tortas and sopas, which totally kick ass. Their rice and beans are in our top 3 favorites, only behind some of the best taco trucks' rice and beans. I am confident you can order pretty much almost anything from here and walk away satisfied. read more

Everything seemed really clean, they have a couple of tables to dine in. You order at the convenience store cash counter. They also have beer on the tap! Me and husband both got taco plates. I got the adobada and pollo and my husband got adobada and carne asada. All the meats were really flavorful. I particularly liked the adobada. I found the chicken a little tough. The plates come with pickles, lime, radish, rice and beans. Both the rice and beans are excellent. The two salsas are good, I have had better, these are more tamarind based. I really liked that the tacos weren't too greasy. I regretted not getting an agua Fresca! Well next time. The prices are reasonable, about 9$ for a taco plate. We had a really positive first experience. It's awesome that I can walk here from home. It seems like a family run place, which makes me want to support them even more. We recently moved to the area from Los Angeles and were craving some authentic good mexican food. My wife found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. It's unconventionally located inside of a liquor store which may be off putting to some and while I would't want to dine in, the food and service is great.
