Very excellent. The sauces are delicious and based on a 70 year old family recipe handed down from the pitmaster's grandfather to his father to him. I especially liked mixing the black pepper sauce with the sweet sauce. Great sauces. The sides are all house made family recipes. The vinegar coleslaw was refreshing and tasty. The green beans were nicely seasoned and delicious. The honey cornbread was tasty. For $13 I got more food than I could eat. For the quality this is a bargain. Jay is the owner, operator, and pitmaster. He's a 3rd generation pitmaster and barbeque joint owner, and definitely knows his way around a smoker. He's also a really nice guy. As you can imagine right before your wedding this was extremely stressful and I don't wish this happening to any bride. I do not recommend them.

The sandwich came out on a toasted brioche bun with the logo branded on it. The sandwich had a fair amount of pork on it but part was warm and part cold. It was chopped up well and had a nice smoky flavor to it. The Mac and cheese was a thicker style but needed a little more flavor to it. Baked beans had a more neutral flavor to them, they added a fair amount of pepper to them to help with flavor. Not bad at all. They were out of cornbread which being open just a couple of hours is unacceptable. I will give them a pass for this visit as they are obviously just getting on their feet. Hopefully it gets better.

There are a lot of delicious options including the Hawaiian shaved ice, ice cream, and creative combinations of the two! We decided that our first foray should include a bit of both, and opted for the Sunset Dreamsicle. This towering delight was a generous portion of orange shaved ice, vanilla ice cream, mini mochi (sweet rice cakes), and the snow cap (sweetened condensed milk drizzle). It was delicious, and the bowl was about licked clean! The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be watching for Chilljoy again!
