Available spaces after office closed at 8pm.

What a difference a year makes, experiencing problems with our tow vehicle, made it from Little Rock KOA to West Memphis KOA. No reservation on a Thursday for a two night stay, told at the desk they were completely booked and the sites we usually stay were down for repairs. Only one solitary site left, #52, in the most expensive area of the park. Now mind you we were early and the park looked empty. That evening as the office closed they posted available sites. Later that afternoon we went to the pool, last year pristine, this year a very pregnant guest skimming pine needles and other debris so her family could enjoy the water. And the next day heard a familiar story from our site neighbors in #51. Made a reservation 4 days in advance for 2 nights only to arrive and be informed no reservation found and only 1 site available, again the most expensive in the park. Haha this couple came in after us! Again only "1 site available..." This is nothing more than a money grab and bad business practice. If you show up and they tell you this story, be prepared to walk away.

Nice dumpster view out our windshield. We can't get to the hookup's without walking in mud puddles.

This is a $78 dollar site per night, for that you get a dumpster view out the windshield, mud everywhere and your neighbor so close that you could almost hand them Grey Poupon. Very disappointing location, it needs a lot of maintenance!

This place is truly just a 1 night place to stay cause the sites are so tight. We stayed 3 nights and were amazed at the daily turnover. Rec hall wasn't open unless you asked them to open it the, pool was closed and turning green and no outlet in the restroom at the sinks. The restrooms were clean and they had a nice laundry room. Small playground and horseshoes/corn hole. Fall is officially here and didn't see any leaves being picked up.

Toilet stalls to the left, and showers to the right.

This is a very cute KOA. The staff was friendly and all the facilities were pristine. This is one of the few KOAs we've been to where the showers are in the same space as the bathroom stalls, and that's the way I prefer it. It is no fun trying to get dressed in the same small wet shower area, and here we had the ability to shower and step out to finish getting ready. They have a very well stocked store, a Cafe, a pool, a dog park, bikes, a playground, a Gaga ball pit, and giant chess/checkers. It was nice to have activities to do on-site. I only wish we had a fire pit in our site. If we are ever back in the area, we will be sure to stop in.

    Beautiful clean pool

Super friendly staff. And I don't know what the other reviews are talking about, the pool was clean and well kept. Showers were clean and breakfast was served with a smile. If you have your fan running, you can't hear the highway. The life size chess board was a lot of fun.

What a mess. Rained today and drainage must be nonexistent.

Pass this one but if you can. Rain, mud, wind has blown furniture over and employees sit inside doing nothing to help. Added one star to update. Most water was down next morning. Must have been a huge storm that hit just before we pulled in yesterday. Highway noise was super loud all night. Nothing to buffer the noise, to foliage, etc. we were in site 51 across from check in and store which had no food or drink supplies. No water.

Staff was attentive. Easy off and easy on. Onsite cafe that serves breakfast and dinner. Most sites are shady.

The park is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The sites are spacious and level, and they all have full hookups. Here are some of the things that I loved about Tom Sawyer's RV Park: - The location: Tom Sawyer's RV Park is located right on the Mississippi River, which makes for stunning views and easy access to Memphis. - The staff: The staff at Tom Sawyer's RV Park are friendly and helpful, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you have a great stay. - The cleanliness: The park is clean and well-maintained, which is important when you're traveling with an RV. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Tom Sawyer's RV Park. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay near Memphis.

We only stopped for the night on our journey but I regret not having a full day there to explore. It looks like there's good trails and a nearby Native American site as well. To address other reviews about how bad the area is: yes, it's industrial and yes you drive through an impoverished area, but if you're more upset about how that offends your sensibilities and not upset about the fact that industrial areas are polluting vulnerable neighborhoods and a park that has significant black history then I would sit with that for a while. We also had no issues with any waste water treatment or factory smells - I would imagine that all depends on weather and wind.
