I hate adding anything after market to my Honda Rebel 300. It has the cleanest retro lines. But driving without a windshield is impossible on the freeway so I added (and installed myself) a 3rd party windshield. I opted for a short, 13" windshield in dark smoke. The next size up was a 17" and it would have made the bike look more like a scooter than a motorcycle so no way I was going that route. It was a challenging installation. The windshield is supposed to be easily-removed with just two easy catches but I could not get the windshield to fit around my headlight that way. I had to think outside the box and use the installation instructions in reverse by installing the windshield brackets to my bike before attaching the windshield to the brackets. The instructions told you to do it the other way but that would not work on my bike unless I first removed the headlight. But even then it was never going to be an easily removable windshield on my bike. In short, to remove it requires a complete uninstall. After the install I took it on the Interstate freeway for the first time. I had it up above 60MPH since I owned it but always without a windshield it felt as though I would be blown off the bike. Without the windshield I literally had to lay down on the gas tank on very windy days especially. That is uncomfortable for long drives. The tiny windshield makes a huge difference. Now the wind is channeled over my head instead of in my face and chest. I felt for the first time that driving the Honda Rebel 300 at freeway speeds for an extended amount of time is entirely possible. It was so much more comfortable with the windshield. I may not have looked quite as cool driving it but the sacrifice for being able to drive it on the freeway is well worth it. My regular truck gets under 20MPG and I regularly have to visit my Mom about 2 hours drive away. So for the good weather anyway, I will save depreciation by adding the miles on my motorcycle instead of my expensive truck. I got this windshield online from 'Memphis Shades'. They said it would fit my 2025 Honda Rebel 300 and it does. I love it. The install took about 30 minutes because first I tried to install it following the instructions. Once I realized I needed to assemble it in reverse then it only took about 15 minutes to install. It has 4 sturdy C clamps holding it to the bike. It is a solid install. I had already added the side bags for storage. The side bags completely hide the gorgeous rounded fender of the back tire. This rounded fender actually adds to the retro style of the bike so while these things are necessary for travel, I feel as though I have detracted from the overall look of the bike with these things. The bike was impractical without them. There are different kinds of motorcycle storage bags but side bags are the most common. One of my friends commented that the side bags make it look like an old man's bike, lol. Well I will be 65 this year so I guess I qualify in any regards. I took it on the 95 freeway for the first time today flirting with 75MPH, no problem. Some of my friends and family said I should have bought the next size up Honda instead (the Honda Rebel 500), but it is a heavier bike. When choosing a bike it is important to consider what you will do when the bike needs service. The Honda Rebel 300 that I bought weighs under 400 lbs without the accessories. But the Honda Rebel 500 has the same sized frame but is well over 400 lbs. To load the bike on the back of my truck I must be able to push it up a ramp from the side. I can just barely do this with my Honda 300 myself. As it is I need to remove the accessories to load it. With more weight in the case of the Honda Rebel 500 I would always need assistance to load and unload. The Honda 300-350 CC have always been Honda's entry-level bike. Because of this Honda makes them good because it builds brand loyalty and Honda Rebel owners often become Honda Gold Wing owners later on. The 2025 Honda Rebel 300 is an awesome bike. For me it has plenty of power. I can leave most any automobile sitting back at the light. As long as I can compete in traffic (and I can) I know I bought the right bike for me. Sent wrong windshield and then I had to purchase a kit to install it and wrong again.i had to pay to return.. I never got a return label but they say they sent it an never got it. They paid the refund for the windshield.inevergot the refund on the install kit that I returned and I was told shipping would be noted on the return. Never buy from them again! read more

I actually am embarrassed I have to do a review like this. I order a new windshield and brackets from Memphis shades and when it arrived, the Windshield was used, there were old bent rusty brackets on it, and the new brackets they sent aren't the right ones to fit that windshield. When I sent pictures and called they said that windshield wasn't from them and called me a liar. I spent $405 on an unusable windshield that they claim isn't from them. I am not even sure where to go with this now. I have never had a company tell me I am a liar and refuse to be accountable to whatever mistake they made. Added photos of the used windshield. You can see the old brackets on it, bent and used. The center bolt on the frame is completely missing. And the new brackets don't even line up with the bracket bolt holes. read more

Do not buy from Memphis Shades. They are not a B.B.B. listed company and it shows. Bought a Sportster windshield from them. The bolt holes aligned perfectly, but when finger tightening the bolts the windshield cracked. No stress on the windshield. When Memphis shades was contacted they said it was an alignment issue and not their problem. I would not recommend buying anything from this company. read more

Their customer service is horrible. They are non responsive. I called with an issue with my windshield and a lady said she would call me back. She seemed concerned at first. Never called back like she said though. I emailed multiple times as well with no response. I guess they only take care of their influencers. read more

Worst customer service ever. Sent the wrong parts, asked for the right ones sent the same kit again. Customer service argued with me saying that it was the kit I ordered, even though I asked for the correct kit. Luckily, I was able to rig the windshield and get it to work, sort of. A year later, they ask me to send it back after I yet again contacted them to complain that I never received the correct parts. Now they tell me the incorrect parts are beaten up and they are going to send them back. I will never buy Memphis shades again. AVOID! read more

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Called the phone number they had online and left a message. I did not get a call back after 2 days. No big deal. I purchased the windshield I liked online. Then I sent an email to their customer service letting them know what I purchased and that I just needed to know if it would be compatible with my passing lamps. I also indicated that if it wasn't, I would just remove them. I also let them know that I left a voicemail and did not hear back. I received an back from a person that simply said, "Hi Adam, If you left a voicemail it automatically calls you back". Now I'm a little upset. So I replied, "I did not get a call back, is there someone there who can answer my question or not. Or should I cancel my order?" They reply, "It will not work, we have cancelled your order." I guess they are happy with the amount of windshields they sell and do not need the business. read more

I just recently purchased a Memphis Shades windshield. When I opened I was amazed that the quality of the my product was very well made. But... I ordered my windshield using the online helper and to my surprise, I got the wrong windshield. When I tried to return, they told me I had to pay for shipping the shipping was almost the amount of the product itself. They told me it was completely my fault for ordering the wrong part. So, they won't help return my item. Now I'm stuck with a windshield that won't fit my bike. read more

My lovely wife's bike had a tired windshield when we bought it, it had gotten scratched up and a bit cloudy. We replaced it with a Memhis shade shield and are very happy with it. It looks to of higher quality than the OEM shield, thicker and very clear. read more

I just bought a new Memphis Shades windshield for my 2010 Goldwing stock height (short) as i like to look over it. It arrived in 5 days and I am very pleased. It is about 1/4" thick like the original windshield. The oem vent fit it perfectly. I installed it in about an hour as this is the first time to install one on a Goldwing. Less than 1/2 the price of a new oem shield and appears as good or better than the oem shield. 5 stars!!! read more

Terrible service, I was missing three custom plastic pegs to put on the windshield and I called customer service. Customer service was very rude seemed like the person really does not like her job and now I have to return $486 worth of product because I never received three plastic screws to put on the Windshield On. Long story short, my rattle-trap of a Harley has been vibrating screws loose right and left. Received and installed my 'Gauntlet' fairing and mounting hardware on my Sportster on 6/11/16. Lost a fairing bolt while riding that same day. Emailed Memphis Shades 6/14/16 to ask where I could purchase a replacement part, and they responded immediately and asked for my mailing address to send me the replacement part at no charge.
