Worst experience ever in an auto parts store. Not a good way to greet a customer. I ignored it because i was in a hurry but his rudeness continued. He got mad at me because i did not know right away some specific info on my vehicle. He then informed me that they did not do battery installs on my vehicle type, a 2018 Kia Optima. I suspect the real reason he told me this is because it was about 30 minutes until closing time and he didn't want to help me. So i said thanks for nothing and went to Auto Zone, where they couldn't have been nicer. They had me fixed up and on the road in no time. They were more than happy to take my money. Imagine that. I had never been in an O'Reilly before and you can be sure i'll never go back. This interaction took place on 6/11/26 at approximately 8:30 pm. I don't know the name of this extremely rude employee, but he may be in need of additional training.

They rang up the right part but pulled the wrong part. Didn't fit. Not even close. Went back and…read moreanother guy saw the mistake and gave me the right part. It's a cabin air filter. And it's the more expensive STP brand which they said was better than the less expensive brand by about $8. Problem is that it's slightly bigger than the OEM filter. That small difference made it such that I couldn't snap on both sides of the cover. Will go OEM next time.
