It hugged in all the right places, like the dress was made for me (even better than the original sizing if I'm gonna be honest). Florentin is honest, kind, and a man of his words. For all of it, it was over 100. Some say it may not be worth it, and some would say it's worth its value. I have never even found a go-to person/place for alterations back home, but I am so pleased and happy I found one in Portland. Our interaction was pleasant, she measured everything and then said it would be about a week. I didn't ask the price because I figured the going rate to hem pants was around $10-$12. I came back to pick up my pants and to my shock, she was going to charge $40 for them. ?!?! I might as well have just bought new pants. Mirella is sweet and ultimately we worked out a more reasonable price, but I showed her a quote I had from another alteration place nearby that was $5/pair or $10/pair if they needed to be done by hand. I don't think she realizes you have to adjust the cost of the work to the value of the item brought in. Also, cash only.. no credit cards.
