**1 Star - Absolutely Horrible Experience** I brought my military uniform to the Taylor shop at Bethany to have patches sewn on, providing *very* clear and detailed instructions -- even drawing them out to ensure everything followed military code. What I got back was an absolute disaster. The thread didn't match either the uniform or the patches, the placement was completely off, and the patches were sewn on crooked, folded, and sloppy. It looked like the work of a rushed preteen with no attention to detail or respect for the importance of proper military presentation. I had to request full removal and rework on several areas because it didn't follow basic code. This was a complete waste of time and money, and honestly, deeply disappointing. If your item matters -- especially something as significant as a military uniform -- **do not go here**. And she charged me full price for items I now have to have replaced! Beware. read more

I needed my maxi dressed hemmed by 1.5". When I picked it up, the back of the dress was quite a bit shorter than the front. Also, the lady asked for cash payment, and it was $35 - would not have minded it IF the result was good. read more

i brought in 2 pair of jeans. i said make this pair just like the other pair which was a perfect fit. mostly just taper the calf and ankle. when i picked it up it was not even close and i have to throw the pair of jeans away cause they are skin tight. just terrible read more

I had two pairs of the exact same jeans hemmed. One turned out way too short. I went back and asked for a refund for the one pair that I could not wear on my vacation. The owner was really rude and said it was my fault. I will never go back there again! I thought it was expensive too and she insisted on cash. read more

I would give a minus star if I could. I took a jacket in on April 22 to get a zipper replaced. It was to be ready on the 29th. She said she hadn't purchased the zipper yet, & to come back Monday. I came back Monday & her store is not open on Mondays. I went back Tuesday morning and she was working on the jacket at that time & asked I come back later that afternoon. I was not able to. I returned 4 days later. The job was AWFUL. Uneven, puckering...just unprofessional is so many ways. DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS. read more

I was in a hurry and needed to get my jacket sleeves hemmed. She xpuld squeeze me in and delivered very nice results within 24 hours, total cost was $45 wich is on par with more large scale 1-day operations (such as Nordstrom). Hemming was done properly and looks perfect. read more

Every time I get a pair of pants, I like to put a button or zipper on one of the back pockets. This time I needed a quick sew job to put a button on a back pocket. Nisa, the proprietor of the shop is so sweet. She turned my pants around in just two days and very reasonably priced. She will be my go to tailor for all my tailoring needs. read more

Such a nice lady and always so accommodating. She's altered 4-5 things for me and a prom dress for my daughter (last-minute) and they all came out great. Her hours are a little iffy but if you call ahead to make sure she's there you shouldn't have a problem. And she's always called me back when I've left messages, which is nice. read more

Came here to get a coat fitted the woman was nice enough. Disappointed is an understatement. Waste of time and money is also an understatement. I should have known when her store reeked of cigarettes that I should have gone somewhere else. Last Saturday I went in and she fit my jacket to my arms and back etc and she had to fix a couple pinned spots because she pinned them to my under shirt. So these few pins were placed when I had the jacket off. She told me that I can pick up Tuesday, NOT Wednesday and not Thursday and not Friday but TUESDAY. I left. I came back on Tuesday as she asked. I put my jacket on and looked in the mirror, I was so shocked, terrible alteration job. My coat was completely ruined and could not be salvaged, I thought. I looked at myself in the mirror and thought that there was no way this could be fixed. The collar was really high, the shoulders were high it looked like I had three inches of space between the jacket and my arms. She said, looks great! You have got to be joking me lady, you and I both know this is bad. She finally admitted it needed to be fixed still. Kept blaming it on the jacket. Saying the jacket was weird. Said she needs to keep it longer. I came back that next Saturday, today. My jacket will never be the same it looks ok but no where near wearable, better than the first time but that's to say the least. The arms now fit weird the back also looks weird. She royally screwed me with her thread and needles. I had to go purchase another coat to wear. Not to mention my coat REEKS of cigarettes. Disgusting. I will never come here again. The only reason I paid $30 and left is because I wanted to get as far away from this place as I could. She didn't offer any sympathy and didn't offer any discount. She just kept acting like all was fine and even had the nerve to ask if I will be bringing another coat to her. What a JOKE. OH and I went to pay, DOESNT TAKE CARD. CASH ONLY. I had to walk to the bank use an atm just to pay. Wow that would have been nice to know. It's 2019 even vegetable vendors at farmers market take cards!!! Don't come here and do your research don't be like me and just go to someone you think will do a good job. Terrible. read more

The tailor hemmed three pair of jeans for me same day within hours for a very competitive price. The jeans are the perfect length now and the stitching looks very nice. She does excellent work and was very kind. The jeans have been worn and washed many times and the hems remain in great shape. read more

Niesa does Beautiful work. I have been going to her for years. She was recommended to me by my friend Barbara. Her daughter was getting married so she had her alter her dress. At a $125 a plate she wanted to look good. She did a beautiful job on her dress. My friend has since moved to bend. When I buy something that I want to look good on me, I have Niesa alter it for me.
