    This store has two listings on Yelp. Same store, same location. I first left this review on the…read moreother listing, in case it sounds familiar. If you know what you need, and can grab it and go, this will be fine. Some nice folks work here. But boy, do I have a story. I went in looking for advice on what kind of sander to buy. Got some good advice, and ended up deciding on three separate sanders. The process up to now took 10-15 minutes because they were busy, and I told the guy helping me that I wasn't in a hurry. No biggie. This is where it got weird. They had one sander in stock, and were going to order the other two. At the info desk they gave me two sheets and the sander they had in stock, and directed me to the checkout after alerting the clerk there to make two receipts (maybe to keep track of the special order?). The clerk was confused, and asked if he could take care of the next, easier customer first. Okaaay. Then another checkout clerk came up . . . and took care of the NEXT person in line. (I was right there.) Then the first clerk started to wait on the THIRD person, who was kind enough to ask about whether I was next, to which the clerk replied as he gestured dismissively at me, "He's waiting." Which blew me away, but I figured would make a good story . . . until he started to take the FOURTH customer, at which point I thought, "perhaps if they lose a $350 order for three tools, they'll prioritize customer service." So I left, and ordered the sanders online through the other Ace in town. The Next Day!!! someone from this location called me, and told me the sander I'd ordered was in! So they apparently placed the order in spite of not ever seeing my credit card or getting my signature, expecting to bill me for it. I explained the above. Hopefully I won't be billed for an extra sander or three. Let the (prospective) buyer beware. Someone needs to spend some time on training employees at this location. Yikes! ADDENDUM: And THEN they called again the NEXT day!

    CONSUMER BEWARE - Poor customer service, confusing emails dated 2026 and problem with delivery…read more Ordered washer and dryer with delivery. Delivery was scheduled for Monday December 29th which I took off work for. Received text and emails from Lowe's that delivery would have to be rescheduled. Rescheduled delivery for Tuesday December 30th and took off another day of work. Delivery truck arrived and driver advised that I would need to reschedule when there was no snow on driveway. There was no communication from Lowe's at any time that they would not deliver with snow on the driveway (less than an inch). Had them take off truck and leave on street. Called and talked to assistant manager Wally who argued that I should have known this. I requested refund of delivery fee which Wally would not apparently not considered. I am DONE with Lowe's after this. I could have had this same set in my home yesterday at the same/similar price if I had bought from local appliance company but I thought (wrongly) Lowe's would deliver when agreed upon.

    We ordered a door installation project from Lowes 3/21/2025…read morewith completion date to be planned by 9/21/2025. Door installation occurred 5/16/2025 with subcontractor from lowe's coming out at that time removing existing door only to find door was too small for orifice and attempted to install just to seal hole until replacement door could be ordered. Spoke with lowe's corporate at which time they would look into remediation and different subcontractor came out and remeasured door in early 6/2025. Every 1-2 weeks received call from Lowe's that door was on order. After contract complete date spoke with lowes corporate again and they stated the door was never ordered since they did not have that size and that they could come back out and "modify" the door to fit. We asked for a refund at that time and they would only refund door purchase price with return of the door to the store. No attempts at remediation. In summary, 6 months of working with lowe's on replacing a door only to go back to square one after all the frustration and empty promised. Highly recommend not working with lowe's installation services as nothing but bad customer service.
