I had a nice experience at this Menchie's. The staff were real nice I just ordered a cup of chocolate yogurt with some chocolate sauce and whipped cream. They were out of some flavors. So listen to this....I went here with my kids this past Saturday night...we got our yogurt and took a seat. As we were sitting down...I noticed two guys come in and one of them decided to stick his hand into the boba and cereal. I looked at the other guy and said you suppose to use the spoons. The guy replied I know and just continued to laugh. I told the employee and he simply did nothing about it! I got disgusted and just threw out our yogurt. SMH makes me think twice about eating at these self serve spots. Probably one of the most well stocked and CLEAN Menchie's I've ever been to. Most other locations are dirty and sticky and barely have any flavors. I wouldn't go to this one. This location had flavors I never tried and wanted the usual sample cups to try it but this location dosen't do samples. I'm fine with that but give me a solution rather than smile and go back to talking nonsense with a coworker in front of me. Is I needed to pay a sample fee, spoon or cup I would have gladly done so. Came here for a sweet treat. As I was greeted by a male employee, I stated that it was my first time at Menchie's. The male employee explained that I first take a cup, fill it with any flavor ice cream, then add my choice of toppings. Afterwards, bring the cup by him to get it weighed for purchase. Okay, simple enough. I took a cup and after viewing the various flavors, chose chocolate ice cream, and added chopped peanuts and cherries. I liked the consistency of the ice cream. It was almost similar to the soft serve ice cream you get at McDonald's. What I also like at Menchie's is if you're uncertain of what flavor ice cream to try, there are little cups to sample the ice cream with. I had a sample of the coconut ice cream; which was alright, but I wouldn't eat too much of it. Menchie's is a pretty cool place with table seating both inside and outside. Various ice cream flavors and toppings at a decent price based on the weight of the container. Will definitely stop by here again and see what other creation I can come up with. read more

Super disappointed with what this place has become. I have been going here since it opened. The yogurt is watery and never creamy. The cake batter is yellow because the machine is not cleaned regularly. Not to mention that this location charges more than the other ones. I do not plan on returning. I am tired of wasting my money. I love their Gluten-Free White Cake Batter, Toasty Marshmallows, and Going Bananas frozen yogurt. With a combination of these flavors, I mixed it in with peaches, mandarin oranges, cherries, and strawberries. So delicious! This location is small and gets reasonably crowded. Terrible customer service. My daughter and wife are Vegan and I have asked them to consider changing the Sorbet flavor many times and they have completely ignored my requests. I have to drive to Plantation and Davie locations to get different sorbet/ Vegan flavors. As vegans and non dairy we are limited on selections as it is and by not changing up the available flavors we are further boxed in to the two and sometimes 1 flavor that is offered at this location. It is a shame that the owner at this prominent location can not just rotate different flavors on the two machines that are designated Vegan and nondairy. I feel that this is not a big request to ask of this business. Mango and Pineapple are great but the same flavors for 9 months is just ridiculous. read more

Tried to use a Valid Dining Advantage BOGO offer for buy 10oz get 10oz free which expired 12/31/23. I purchased this BOGO deal and had used one a week or so before with no issue. For some reason the employee this time, claiming to be the manager, said that it was not valid or acceptable at this location even though it was specifically purchased for THIS location only. He said that the employee the previous time should not have accepted it then either. I have been coming to this location for years and have never had an issue like this. Perhaps the employee (manager?) was just having a bad day? In any case, this kind of customer service is completely unacceptable and I will not be going back here. Just left this location and the time they close at is 10 PM. The lady inside refused to serve me 20 minutes prior to closing. As a business that is not a good look and as an employee working there and representing the store it just comes off as rude. I would never say anything if I didn't work at a restaurant myself and we do not refuse anyone service unless it is actually the time or minute before closing. The day I decided to try Menchies, I have never gone back to Cold Stone again! And although I have tried other frozen yogurt places with a similar set up, they all pale in comparison to Menchies - their flavors are just not up to par. My personal favorite is their Dulce De Leche flavor but they're always changing and adding new flavors - so much variety! Today I tried their New York Cheesecake flavor and their Peachy Keen one and were both delicious. Their flavors are always spot on. I don't think I've tried a flavor I didn't like. My favorite part is taste testing all the new flavors when I come in. And they have toppings for days, all sorts from fresh fruit, to candy like sour worms, to your traditional ice cream toppings like fudge and marshmallow. This particular location is great. It is near my house, so I frequent it often. You can expect a friendly staff, great location, lots of seating both inside and out, very clean and the fun decor you always expect from this chain. First and foremost walking into this establishment the manager was cleaning with the mob awesome. Everything about this place is very clean and establishment is nice we walked in around closing time so I understood why the cleaning. I asked a few questions as I've never been before and the cashier was very polite. They have free sample cups when you walk in which is really cool. There's a large variety of flavors so thumbs up on that part. I went with the paradise for brunch and the island mango really really good. I decided to top it off with a little vanilla snow. I am a fan of Menchies & I have been since the other location opened near Pembroke Lakes mall. When I learned we would get one here (closer to my home) I WAS ECSTATIC!! The owners here are VERY nice! My hubby & I frequent this place. They always switch up the flavors which makes me look forward to my visit so that I can try something new. Their Original Tart is my all time fave but the Red Velvet is a close runner up! Their toppings are always fresh and neat! I was there once & an ADULT man was walking thru the line & decided to stick his filthy hand into one of the candy bins (mini peanut butter cups) and eat from it. I used to come here all the time! Never again!!! The "owner" or person at the register was SO rude! I have allergies and wanted a cone- nothing more, nothing less- and she refused to sell it to me because I wouldn't put froyo in it. She refused to charge me for it and told me that if I wanted it, I would need to fill it with froyo and toppings and I would pay $8 for it. I told her I'd rather just pay the cone and go on my way. I have done this many times. My boyfriend even offered to put the ice cream in a cup and pay for the cone though the cup wouldn't come close to $8. She said no. I don't understand why it was such a big deal and why she refused service to me. She was rude. On top of that, she took the cone back FROM MY HAND and put it back IN THE CASE to sell to someone else. This Menchie's at Cobblestone Plaza is in a great location. There are parking spaces and enough seating for people to sit. There's a great outdoor space in the front. It's a great environment to enjoy a cup of yogurt. I like their yogurt very much. They have the sample cup for you to take right on their counter unlike the other yogurt store where you have to ask for them. One of niece and nephews favorite place to go. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. We had a party for my niece around the time they opened and they were very helpful. Everything went smooth and the kids love the place. The store is always in tip top shape and very clean. We are weekly visitors and the staff is always cheerful and friendly. This location used to be good but has deteriorated significantly. The quality of the yogurt is very watery and not creamy. The girls are usually on their phones and not very friendly. In addition, the things that make the swirl on the yogurt are removed early in order to cheat customers into spending more money cause inevitably more yogurt comes out.
