A small bakery located in West Pembroke Pines they are turning out delicious pastries, some that are vegan, gluten free or low sugar. They offer up made from scratch breads, quiche, muffins, cookies, croissants, and other baked goodies. They do sell out quickly on some of their more popular items so it's a good idea to go early if you can. They offer banana walnut and triple chocolate muffins, both which are vegan and their coconut muffin is vegan, gluten free and no sugar. The quiche they offer is traditional Quiche Lorraine and a green quiche which is made with arugula, Gorgonzola and parmesean cheese. You will also find things like Cachitos here which is brioche dough filled with ham and different breads like baguette, sourdough and olive bread. They were out of the cinnamon raisin bread but I heard that it's delicious ! Croissants include Nutella, butter, chocolate and almond. Their danish includes strawberry, Nutella and blueberry. I bought one of the blueberry danish and it was great. It had soft, flaky pastry with fresh blueberries and some powdered sugar on top. Can't wait to go back and get another one! Cinnamon rolls and berry rolls are made fresh on Friday and Saturday so I had to get a cinnamon bun. My husband and I really enjoyed it. We also got a baguette which managed to be both crunchy and soft at the same time and we really enjoyed this as well. In addition to the baked goods I mentioned, they also offer sandwiches and different coffee drinks and have a cooler with drinks in case you don't want coffee. Amazing is just not good enough. I am so sad that I live all the way in Texas and cannot revisit this place tomorrow! There was a line at the door before they opened. I got lots of recommendations and everything was so delicious. The owner and the cashier were very helpful. The location is very clean. You can see their love of what they are doing in the displays. I passed by this bite-sized café & bakery umpteen times and always in a hurry, so I never stopped to go inside. While tucked between a hair salon and another business, they don't have drive-thru service, but limited indoor seating is available. I was delighted with the variety of offerings. They are a tad busy but not more than any popular coffee house would be. As I waited, I took a look-see through their fresh-baked breads and pastries and my decision came easy. The spinach pastelito [pastry] was flaky and creamy--best I've ever had! I also bought an egg & cheese pocket, a banana & walnut muffin and a cinnamon roll to go. My latte was just right with a heart design that made my morning! I also really liked the added touch with the pretty string on my box. They didn't have to do that but I'm so glad they did! This place is impeccable and customer retention seems high, as I noticed many of those in line ordered breads and baked goods without perusing the bakery case or the menu. Their quiet ambiance, good service, and moderate prices, in comparison to other gourmet bakeries, makes this a great place to frequent when in the area and I will make it a point to return! read more

This is quite a pleasant surprise. I was looking for a quick bite while getting my oil changed and stumbled upon The Artisan Bite. I decided to try the grilled cheese, applesauce, and bacon sandwich. Absolutely delicious. So of course I had to get a loaf of bread and try their green and red pesto sauces. That night I made a dish using the red sauce, and it was quite good. Enjoyed by the entire family even though this place is a little out-of-the-way for me I will definitely be a return customer. read more

A few weeks ago it was suggested that I might try sourdough bread as an alternative, so I searched for a bakery that makes it and came up with The Artisan Bite and have been very happy about it ever since. I have a friend who makes his own sourdough bread, but said it is a lot of trouble and local grocers and supermarkets don't actually sell quality sourdough, so I brought him a loaf and he approves. We loved this place! Very cute spot. It is small but has indoor and outdoor seating. As soon as you come in you're able to place your order with the cashier which is very helpful. There is a vast selection of pastries which are all fresh. It was hard to choose from! We ended up ordering coffee which was perfect! (Not too weak which we appreciate). To eat we got the ham and cheese pastelito and manchego tapenade which were both delicious and fresh! To end we got the freshly made cinnamon roll which again was great! Everything I try to visit this place it was always closed. Today I finally gor it open and got a chance to try something. I had the carrot cake and it was delicious. It was fresh moist and not too sweet which I loved. The icing was lite and had just enough sugar. My mom at the pastelitos which were good as well. The only thing I would reccomended is to ask them to heat it up. We couldn't eat it in the car because it was cold. Once we got home and ate it it was good. I will try it again maybe eat the items in the store that is meant to be heated. Otherwise everything looked great. read more

I really like this bakery for its coziness and quiet atmosphere. The pastries and loaves are especially well-baked and flavorful as well as varied across different styles. I also like this bakery because it's independent, not part of a chain. I've always been happy with the service and the food. The only thing I've had so far that has missed the mark was the manchego and tapenade sandwich. The sandwich was hot, the bread was beautifully crunchy and the cheese was a great choice. However, the tapenade was pretty much non-existent, which is fine but when you expect it and don't get it, it's a little disappointing. Despite that, I always enjoy coming here and ordering something new. Definitely worth a visit! read more

The Artisan bite is an excellent bakery where they use only the best of ingredients to make fabulous breads and pastries. I often pickup their rustic baguette when making pasta and meatballs. You have to get there early because their popular items sell out fast. I'm a huge fan of their almond cake. It is flourless and made with freshly ground almonds. We have had their quiches too. Cappuccino was really good but almond croissant not so much, neither fresh nor flaky. This is a cute little place and the barrista was very nice. If you are craving a good cup of coffee this is an option but based on my experience with the croissant im not so sure about their pastries. I was super excited to try this place but unfortunately had a bad experience. The service was great and inside the restaurant was welcoming. However the pastries weren't good. I was given the wrong pastry and had to go back in to get a refund, I didn't get a replacement because before I had noticed I got the wrong pastry I tasted it and it was stale. The other pastry I had gotten was not fully cooked so it was doughy. I hope that this was just a fluke and might try it again on another day. read more

Conveniently located next to the Aldi is this small bakery. The pastry and bread selection is not huge, but everything is baked fresh throughout the day. I only tried the chocolate and the almond croissant...they were both very fresh... moist yet flakey with none of the plasticized tastes that are endemic to lesser quality fare. Maybe not quite as good as the ones in Paris...but close enough to tick the boxes. The Cafe con Leche was also very good...just the right amount of roast and froth- and generously sized for the asking price of $4.50.. Which would be a couple bucks cheaper than Starbucks. It seems so hard to find a bakery that isn't Publix. I was having acupuncture in west Pembroke Pines and was hungry. I did a search for vegan on Yelp and The Artisan Bite showed up. I thought why not. The 2 reviews were positive for this new place and I am always in the mood for a good bread. I walked in and was warmly greeted. I told him that I was looking for some vegan bakery goods. He showed me everything available to me. I was excited! Someone else walked in. I told him to take care of her as I was deciding. She got some quiche as she had heard that his quiche was amazing. He gave her instructions on how to best warm it up. Back to me. I ended up getting 2 muffins (banana walnut & triple chocolate). Both were vegan and gluten free. I also got a bread made from oats (gluten free & vegan) and I purchased a jar of the pesto (non-GMO, dairy free, vegan & delicious). The owner gave me directions on how to store the bread if we didn't finish it in 4 days. Everything was wrapped beautifully and because I purchased 4 things I got a free bag of almond cookies...yum! Everything I purchased was delicious. The bread was amazing and I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing in one sitting. I took it home uncut, although it can be cut in the bakery as well. The place is super cool. We talked a little about him also being at Yellow Green Market. I was happy to not have to go there as it is just too far and parking is too crazy. I was happy to see his place open in Pembroke Pines. There is definitely not enough place's likes his in west Broward. I could tell, by talking to him, how much pride he took I what he does. He mentioned that he will start having sandwiches and I did see coffee and the machine to make espresso drinks. I will definitely be back to try more of his bakery items. Went in for the first time, very nice woman Blonde hair served me, ordered a cappuccino and 3 pastries to go, coffee was perfectly made the pastries were a bit stale and hard. Two days later I stopped in to get a cappuccino and asked when do they make the pastries, she said every morning, I shared with her about the stale pastries I had gotten, she did not say anything, I ordered a cappuccino and texted my friend to see if she wanted one, the person who was there would not start my cappuccino until I paid, which a I wanted to pay for both orders once I got my friends response, the employee saw that I was waiting for response yet did not even try to start making my coffee, when she finally made it, I ordered a chocolate muffin which was refrigerator cold, which led me to believe that baking was not every morning, muffin was ok, when I took s sip from my coffee it was very strong and way to dark, I asked for a bit more of milk, to which she responded with " I can't just serve hot milk" I asked if she was serious and she said yes, it's to bad that my second experience was such a contrast to my first time, I still can't believe she refused to give me more milk. Not returning I didn't finish my coffee because of how strong it was and was unhappy that I paid for bad service and a coffee I couldn't stomach. read more
