This was a surprising delicious find! I went here on a Saturday night as I was in Pembroke Gardens and happened to see this. My group and I got small cups of the Amarena and dulce de leche with with chocolate chunks flavors. It was a bit pricy in my opinion but also it was really good. The small cups were deceiving and actually had a lot of gelato packed in. The flavor and texture were great. You're also able to sample flavors before committing to one. The inside is a bit small with maybe 5-6 tables and 1 or 2 outside. I would definitely come back here again!

Finished having dinner and instantly searched for desert and Freddo was the closest thing so why not give it a shot! First off, this location is very clean and nicely decorated. Aesthetically it's pleasing and a decent sized space. Upon walking in we were greeted with a ton of options and boy was I excited to sample. I tried the pistachio, nocciola, mint chip, and dulce de leche with Oreos. It was all so good but as a sucker for dulce de leche and oreos, it was the way to go! It was creamy, sweet and the chunks of Oreo brought it all home for me. I will say this place is on the pricey side so 8 bucks for a small cup was a little steep in my opinion but after trying it, I knew this wasn't your average gelato spot. The flavors and ingredients are on point which made it a higher end treat worth paying for. Overall I think Freddo was the sweet treat I needed and hope to be back soon!

Extra creamy strawberry and chocolate gelato

Nice gelato shop with lots of flavors of gelato and some sorbets. Cups, cones, various toppings and drinks. Quite a bit of seating for it being a smaller shop. Tables, high tops, 2 comfy looking arm chairs and couple of tables out front. We had the Strawberry with dark chocolate and fiancé had nocciola (hazelnut) and regular chocolate. I really liked the creaminess of the strawberry with the dark chocolate! 2 scoops each was about $20 for the two of us.

This little gelato spot in Pembroke gardens has it all. We strolled in after dinner for dessert and my daughter was begging to sample every flavor. Plenty of seating and delicious flavors . The service was quick and the young man was patient enough to allow us to sample multiple flavors. They also have coffee available. I've never heard of an ice cream shop that sells their ice cream by the pound which is pretty cool. I'm not surprised with the ratings and reviews of this place it definitely deserves it!

Overall: Cute place. The gelato and sorbet were really good. Great service. Ambiance: We came around 9:30pm so a lot of the other businesses were closed and there was plenty of parking. Not many places to sit. Tables are few and really meant for just two people. There are two tables outside but small and a family grabbed the other chairs. I probably wouldn't have sat outside though because one of the tables you would've been hit by the door. Inside Not many places to sit but thankfully it was not busy so we were the only ones. I can't imagine if this place had a lot of ppl. You would have to stand or just eat in the car lol. Food and Service: Kind and gave their opinion on how gelato should be eaten. The flavors were all great and creamy! You can try as many as you like and they are super patient! Overall, if I'm back here I'd come again.

$9 for a small scoop of ice cream is insane. First and last time here. Ridiculous pricing on a scoop in a small cup.

Great gelato and a nice variety of flavors, but I found it somewhat expensive. They do have a deal where you buy one and get 30% off the next one which I guess is worth it. The gelato was good. I had the lemon and pineapple flavors.

I am so happy my friend told me about this place otherwise I'm not sure I would have ever known about it. A small gelato place located at Pembroke Gardens on the street side, next to XFINITY, it's churning out some of the best homemade gelato I've ever tasted. Gelato differs from ice cream mainly because it's made with milk instead of cream and doesn't contain eggs. It also is made with less sugar than ice cream. They also have sorbet for those looking for a dairy free treat. They offer free samples and delicious flavors such as banana split, tiramisu, dulcet de leche (made four ways), and many others. This was some of the best gelato I've ever had and I felt s as if I was transported to Italy when I ate it! They place was spotless and the people that worked there were so helpful and provided great customer service. I can't wait to go back and try some more of their delicious flavors'

Freddie took the place of CREAM right near Pembroke gardens. This gelato spot popped up on my search bar and we decided to try it out. The gelato is smooth, creamy and full of flavor! They had some unique flavors like cookies and cream with Dulce de Leche, Tiramisu and marscapone! They also had lots of sorbets! Honestly the only reason i give it a 4 instead of a 5 is the price. For a family of 5 i spent over $40!!! Other than the price, very happy with the visit and the gelato!

Stopped in here after eating a few doors down! Really glad I did! There are plenty of selections for gelatos from sorbet and creamy and you will not be disappointed! I was able to sample a few and finally decided to order passion fruit gelato! It wasn't overly sweet and gave me that bit of sugar that I needed! My boyfriend ordered dulce leche and loved it!! Serving Sizes were pretty reasonable!! Decor was cute and place was clean! Didn't really get to look at the prices! Indoor and outdoor seating

Best gelato everrrrr. So creamy and they have a variety of different flavors for you to choose from. For the indecisive ones, you are able to try them and see which ones you'd like in your cone or cup. The dulce de leche is my favorite and they have different versions of it: dulce de leche with Oreo, dulce de leche with chocolate chunks, dulce de leche with caramel, and regular dulce de leche. They have both chocolate-y and fruity flavors as well. There's also the zabaglione flavor which is infused with Marsala wine. The employees are always so nice and patient when it comes to you deciding on your scoop flavors. I definitely recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth and want to try some yummy gelato.

Took my kid out for a last day of everything before she had to leave, and Freddo popped up as our ice cream destination on Yelp. I had seem it on more than one occasion but I was never curious, but the little one was definitive and we went inside. I am generally a milkshake fan, but there was something about the Freddo cookies and cream that was absolutely to die for. I went with a scoop instead and I can't recall having ice cream better than that in a very long time. My kid got a small sized cup with two flavors and enjoyed it thoroughly. Since she left she has mentioned wanting to go back to this particular place, so I will sum up by saying it's both kid and adult approved, and absolutely memorable.

Nice and good little gelato spot to help you get your sweet tooth fix on! Freddo's been around and have many other locations so be sure to join their rewards program. The gelato is good but not great. Creamy in texture for the most part but not as creamy as a gelato should be. Love their many flavors and you can sample them as needed. Server was nice and allowed us to try as much as we wished before making our decision. Strawberry shortcake was good, pistachio was perfectly creamy and the favorite. Patagonian white chocolate was also a wonderful combination. Freddo's is a bit pricy for what you get but pro tip.... You get more bang for your buck when you order a 2 scoop cone compared to a small cup that you can only get 1 flavor for less than $1.50 more and you get twice as much gelato to enjoy! read more

Freddo gelato was the perfect sweet treat after a nice burger dinner tonight. Cool and creamy gelato that will have you come back for more. I sampled most of the flavors and they were all very creamy. They have dulce de leche with oreo which was pretty good. I always choose pistachio as it is my ultimate favorite gelato flavor. Freddo's pistachio did not disappoint. We bought a small cup and you only allowed one scoop flavor. Best to get the waffle cone for an extra $1.50 and you get two scoops two flavors and lot more gelato. Service was good and store was clean at a great location. read more

They don't have dairy-free flavors, only a mango sorbet that doesn't taste good--just sugar and coloring!! And the toppings are very simple and boring!! Offering dairy-free flavors made with almond or coconut milk not only pleases more customers, but also helps this planet, which is poisoned by so much animal cruelty!!! read more

Most expensive cup of gelato for the smallest portion ever. The customer service on our visit was awful. The server was a woman who said only 2 tasters per family of the flavors. We ordered what felt like a half portion and paid close to $9.50. I guess the place is fine if you just won the lottery , know exactly what you want to order without samples, and are on a diet. The gelato was good. read more

My boyfriend and I weee visiting the area and stopped in for dessert. I had the coconut Dulce de lèche and he had the cookies and cream. We enjoyed so much that we didn't even take the time for a picture, however we went back two nights later for more. Delicious gelato. read more

Great service. Good portion. I love mint chocolate chip but this version is not my favorite. No stars off because the ice cream texture, etc was good. Just not my kind of mint flavor. The plain chocolate was damn good. I 2as having a bad day. This was the perfect pick me up. read more

Really enjoyed my visit. Got a double scoop ice cream cone and it was delicious. Went later in the evening and it was fairly empty. Glad that there were designated parking spots at the front of the store because the park lot was packed. read more

The gelato and service was great. After sampling several flavors i ended up with the cookies and cream and the banana split. Oscar and Valeria were super nice and patient, even after the several sample requests. Will be coming back! read more

Just a quick and simple review :) The ice cream here was so creamy and delicious! I tasted the Dulce de Leche with Oreo and the Patagonic Citrus and while the second one was light and refreshing with the frozen fruit chunks, I couldn't pass on the soft and chewy oreo pieces in the Dulce de Leche. Definitely will be getting the citrus one next time though read more

If you like Delicious creamy gelato, you have found a must try place! I have been here twice in a week. I love the Marscapone flavor. It's marscapone cheese with raspberry sauce. We also ordered the Mango Lemon and the Tiramasu, all were full of flavor and delightful. They have milkshakes, pastries, coffee and gelato in cups and cones also. read more

Try the Nocciola ice cream! You wont regret it. My ultimate favorite ice cream is chocolate. But the server asked me to try Nocciola and I fell in love. I've been here a second time since then. I'm too scared to try any other flavors but I am not upset about my new favorite flavor. read more

If you like ice cream you have to go to Freddo, these ice creams have intense flavors, they are super creamy and for me the best are DULCE DE LECHE, TIRAMISU, RASPBERRY AND PASSION FRUIT. I came in here looking to have some hazelnut ice cream which is what i told the girl working there and she gave me whatever without offering samples or anything. okay. they didnt have cones either. this is all fine until i go to try my icecream and it doesnt taste anything like hazelnut. I never complain or send food back it makes me feel bad but this time it really bothered me considering i spent over 20 bucks on two little cups of ice cream and i REALLY wanted hazelnut which i always have in other authentic gelato places with no problem. So this quickly turned into a nightmare when the manager. or whatever jerk is running that place in was extremely rude to me! I nicely asked the girl if i could get switch ice cream because i really didn't think this one tasted anything like hazelnut and she calls a man from the back. He goes hmm let's taste it together and tells me nothing is wrong with the icecream and that just because i don't like it doesn't mean i can get another for free. in the rudest tone ever, acting as if i was trying to scam him when i barely touched the ice cream. i was literally served plain chocolate icecream and charged 20 bucks for what! it wouldn't even have mattered if the ice cream was actually what i asked for. i would have been happy paying the 20 but no I was treated very rudely. I would pick any other icecream spot, people here are entitled and rude and don't know how to run a business. read more

The first one that I ordered was a pavlova for a holiday party with some co workers. I was able to order super easily by sending her a message on WhatsApp. I chose to get a pavlova made with dulce de leche and it was topped with strawberries. I picked it up and July had it ready on time and it was beautiful. When I got to the party I set it out on the table and everyone was asking questions about what it was. When we were done eating everyone was really excited to have dessert. This was the first time that I ever brought a dessert to a party and it was all gone. The second one that I ordered, was for Christmas with my family. July was very punctual and communicated with me to arrange the pick up. The ingredients were fresh and it was just as good as the first one. If you are a fan of pavlova do not hesitate and order one, you will not regret it. If you have never tried it before, take the risk and order it. You are going to love it.

But waited an hour and a half for our food. (Inquired several times. Got frustrated and almost left. But as luck would have it, it was one of our very few lazy Saturday afternoons. So, we decided to wait it out.) While we waited, we browsed the grocery area that displayed all sorts of chips, crackers, and sauces. There are even refrigerators and freezers with items to be purchased. (I got a bag of frozen Ube buns.) When the food arrived, it was (almost) worth the wait. We got four Fiesta Specials, with shrimp chips, lumpia, pancit, rice and adobo. (Three of us got pork adobo, one had chicken.) The pancit was ok (not salty like some reviewers reported), and the lumpia was crunchy and satisfying. Both adobos were perfect. The meat was moist and the vinegary soy sauce flavor was just right. We couldn't finish our meals (besides, we needed a little room for dessert). So, we brought home leftovers and shared a bowl of Halo Halo. I love the mixture of flavors and textures, the sweets, the beans, and the cool shaved ice. We got 2 pork and 2 beef empanadas to go (for dinner). We were surprised at our bill of more than $160. Our meals were about $19 each. The dessert was about $10. But the empanadas were $11 each for pork and $14 each for the beef. (Say what?) Plus my bag of frozen Ube buns. The empanadas were hefty (about the size of a large hand) and came with an accompanying soy sauce mixture. With a crunchy pastry pocket filled with meat and cabbage filling, it is big enough for a meal. But we didn't care for the extreme greasiness. Would prefer to spend that money on more adobo. I asked one of the ladies what would be the best time to visit the eatery to avoid the crowd and the long wait times. "Monday through Wednesday," she said. "We are always busy the rest of the week." The food is worth five stars. But combined with the slow and disorganized service, sadly I could only give it four stars.

We also shared a large Mango Magic smoothie, and I have to say, it was exactly what a large smoothie should be. The portion was generous, and it can be customized to your liking. A great value for the size. There were a few tables available, so we took a moment to sit and enjoy our lunch. While we were there, the steady stream of customers never seemed to slow down, which we always take as a good sign. I've now introduced hubby to a lunch spot in his work neighborhood he had not known about. Something tells me he'll be thanking me later.
