After a rough day, we decided to lift our spirits with some ice cream and headed to Menchie's. The atmosphere was nice and inviting. There were a few people sitting and enjoying their treats, but it wasn't busy at all. I tried the pineapple coconut smoothie frozen yogurt, which is both gluten-free and vegan. Unfortunately, it didn't hit the mark for me--it was really sweet and lacked strong pineapple or coconut flavors. I ended up giving it to the kids. I was hoping it would be closer to the pineapple flavor they had before. Even though that flavor wasn't my favorite, I would still recommend Menchie's! This location was friendlier than the last one I visited, they have a good selection, and lots of toppings to choose from. I also appreciate that they charge by weight, so you can get as much or as little as you want. read more

Worst frozen yogurt or ice cream place I've ever been to. They advertise on their windows different promotions and never live up to the promises. They advertise BOGO free frozen yogurt on a certain day but when I went there they told me I couldn't get a second one because I was only one person. So apparently one person can't get the deal for themselves or take it to go for someone not in the store. Seems like the cheapest way to not honor their advertising. Then they advertise they are giving away the first five ounces for free to celebrate the release of the new Percy Jackson series, I show up on that day at the time and they say they don't have the special flavor so they aren't giving it away now. The poster was literally on the door saying it was free, when I asked why they weren't honoring the advertising they had nothing to say. I'm not sure if this is only this location or the entire chain but they email promotions a d advertise them at the store but never actually live up to what they say. I would never advise anyone to go here for any reason. Go to any other frozen yogurt or ice cream place. They suck!!!!! read more

Due to covid their procedures have changed. The employee was wearing gloves and guests aren't allowed to touch anything. The employee filled the cups with frozen yogurt, per guests request, and would handle the toppings that were packed individually. Organized neatly. Very clean! The toppings seemed like a complete waste of plastic if the employee is the only one handling anything. The cake batter fro yo was subtle and just tasted like vanilla. Nothing special, but still good. The dole whip was spot on! Perfection! I would have had more toppings and fro yo but wasn't offered more and it was awkward to tell her to keep going after she stopped pushing on the lever, or to ask for more cups of toppings. I know "normally" it was based on weight but I wasn't sure if it was price per topping-cup and I was only allowed one, so I didn't bother asking for more. She asked if I had a rewards account and when I said no she didn't offer to sign me up. Bummer, dude. No reason to go back. read more

My partner and I happened to be in the area and I was craving froyo and found this place on Google! I had almost no expectations, but was incredibly happy with my visit. Menchie's Baldwin Square had a decent selection of flavors with almost all of them being winners in my eyes. As for toppings, lots to choose from! I was also impressed by their options of Hershey chocolate shell syrup that I don't often see at other froyo places. They offer a variety of cute designs for ice-cream cakes as well, and offer deals for people interested in a second cake. Very clean store and well managed. Yay for yummy frozen yogurt! We've been here a couple times so far. The yogurt has been delicious. My daughter and I especially liked the toasted marshmallow, and the orange juice one. YUM! The toppings have always been neat, not mess, and tasty! From the signs around the store and on their Facebook, it looks like they are also doing several activities to support the community and help organizations with fundraising. We'll definitely have to recommend it for the groups we're a part of. read more

This is an extremely good location. I come from a completely different side of town just to visit with the owners. They are wonderful to be around and really care about their operation. I would highly recommend this location if you want friendly and fast service. Everyone is so cheery and they all love what they do, it certainly shows. This is my daughter's new favorite "ice cream" location. She loves being able to pick and mix her own flavors of ice cream and toppings. My only problem/wish is that they offered smaller cups, it's very easy for her to fill the cup if I take my eyes off her for a second. read more

My family and I went into this Menchies tonight at 854 (they close at 9) we are a family of 6 and were having a mini celebration after telling our children we are expecting again! With not wanting to be "those people" and come walking it right before close (we all like to go home after a long day) my husband ran in before we all got out of the car and asked if they were ok with it. They were more than welcoming and not only told us to come in but congratulated us. They never rushed us and were friendly the entire time.
