Very disappointed when we went to get frozen yogurt last night. Of the about 12 spots for flavors, only half had signs of a flavor. Then only about 3-4 flavors actually worked. Such a limited selection. There were no sample cups. We were given spoons to sample the few flavors off of. The toppings didn't look fresh and some of the more popular ones were empty. I am a mom of 3 children and my kids LOVE this place. We went for the first time a couple weeks ago and everyday since they always ask "mommy can we get menchies after dinner please!?" came to read the reviews after going here this afternoon, and I guess it's not just me - this location is pretty bad! VERY limited flavors that all sounded kinda gross. Lol. I finally found a plain sounding vanilla one, and the machine was broken & nothing would dispense when I pulled the lever. The attendant fiddled to try and fix it, but that did not work. I gave up. I LOVE the tart flavors. Other locations usually have at least 2 tart options, but all they had was plain. Disappointing, but no biggie... But of course that machine was broken too! On top of those, 3 or 4 of the machines were not being used at all and labeled as such. What the hell? Surprised this place is still open. The west Delray location is way better. read more

The kids enjoy "ice cream" in every form. They love it here as they get to add their own topping and make it their own. When we went they were out of a few flavors so that was a bummer. Other than that, the place is cute and clean and the kiddos enjoy it. read more

I keep trying to see improvement because this is the closest froyo place to my house; however, I really think this place is getting worst, if that's possible., I was so disgusted last night when I stopped in for Valentines with the husband. The place smelled really bad, the floors were so sticky you could tell it had not been properly mopped for days. as usual, there were out of most flavors, the dispenser stations were dirty, rusty and what seems like moldy and the toppings were picked over and not fresh. I think what made it worst is that the attendant was making no effort to rectify anything. I've been here multiple times already and every time I come there are only like 5 options. They also don't change the options enough for the 5 options reasonable. The good part about this place is the variety of toppings they have laid out for us to choose from!!! So many options! Just not in the frozen yogurt... The Menchie's on Jog in Lake Worth seems to have gone downhill a bit. The machines were not very clean and the staff seemed more interested in talking among themselves than in helping customers. We had to knock on the kitchen door twice to ask a rep to ring up our sale before our yogurt melted. On a positive note, the topping bar was well stocked and the items looked and tasted fresh. In comparison, the Menchie's in the Delray Marketplace on Lyons was much better run and cleaner. The lady working there was personable and provided great customer service. The yogurt selection was similar in both locations and the toppings were pretty much the same too. Given a choice, I'll continue to visit the Delray location as I prefer a clean store with more attentive employees. read more

I went to this Menchies this evening to pick up froyo to go. The store had a horrible, dirty, musty odor that we could smell through our masks. No one was working up front to ensure any type of covid/cleanliness protocols. We quickly filled our cups and did not take any toppings since it was self serve and the store smelled and appeared dirty. Also, the lights were off and it was hard to see what we were doing. At first I was nervous trying out this Menchie's with all the negative review! However, my friend and I were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The shop was bright, inviting and had two employees working. There were several flavors available and many toppings. The yogurt was a good consistency as well! There were many customers who came through while we were there. I would say my only complaint was that some of the yogurt machines seemed a little messy on the bottom. When this Menchie's opened it was clean, friendly, well stocked and always PACKED with people. The last few times I have gone, it has been the opposite in EVERY way. The machines are dirty, and usually empty, sometimes only two or three flavors are available out of a whole wall of machines. The staff barely say a word or offer assistance, all the candy/toppings are stocked, but usually crushed up or melted, and it reflects in the fact that it is usually pretty empty. Sometimes it even seems as if there are no staff. A few months ago there was literally nobody at their register. I waited over 5 minutes to pay (didn't want to steal it) but was disappointed when I left and my yogurt was already melted.
