This time in my laptop died I tried to take it to Sage's and they were closed in the middle of the day on Monday. They're hours plainly said they were supposed to be open. I called them and left a message asking why they were closed. Then I Googled computer repair and found Computer Rescue in Fort Bragg. I'm so glad Sage's was closed. Within 5 minutes of talking to him I was confident of Jason's ability and expertise. (The kid that works at Sage's called me back 5 minutes later and said they were open now. His loss for closing down in the middle of the day) He was able to start working on my computer right away which was crucial to me because I had a deadline. The hard drive had some errors and it turned out that Jason was able to repair the hard drive and reset the computer. In explaining the process he said that all of my downloaded programs would be lost & would have to be reinstalled again. I really wasn't looking forward to spending hours downloading and installing new programs but I accepted that would have to be done. I was surprised and pleased to find Jason reinstalled my programs, kept all my settings and bookmarks, and double tested everything and gave my computer back to me in practically the same state as it was before it crashed and died. He went above and beyond the call of duty and did an incredible amount of work on it for the money that I gave him. I wholeheartedly recommend his service and will definitely be a repeat customer... but let's hope not too soon.

This in many ways is the best print shop around. I also like to use local business when I can. The…read morepricing at Mendo Litho is certainly the best on the Mendo coast. The problem is, that if you are a professional business that does not have all day to get printing done it can be quite frustrating. The main cause of this is that although there are 4 people who work there, only one of them actually knows how to do anything. This means that every time you go in there you will likely end up waiting for a very long time since the one person is the only one who can help anyone. I have tried calling ahead, sending the document the day before, and other tactics but on one will do anything with your stuff until you show up in person. This is particularly frustrating when you don't live in FB. I can not tell you how many times I have drove to FB to get something printed and left empty handed. Today I wanted to proofs printed and waited 30 minutes and finally left without it. I really like all the staff, but no matter how patient I try to be, working with Mendo Litho is very trying experience. I use to print there weekly but I just can't justify all the time that I loose trying to print. So now I mainly print on my own crappy printer even though the quality suffers. I wish owner would teach the other staff members basic printing concepts. Either that or let me on their computers so I could print myself. It is so unfortunate that the staff not trained in printing.
