I always buy my meat here, it is high quality. A smallish grocery but can always find what I need.

Looked this up online- it said it sounds spoiled. When I called the store, the customer service desk told me that because I purchased it in the reduced price area it's not refundable- I purchase from the reduced priced area regularly and I am fully aware of their no-refund policy on reduced items-It's labeled right on the front of the fridge door, but come on!! DOES THE STORE REALLY THINK ITS OK TO SELL SPOILED ITEMS??

This place is cute! Stopped in for the first time today, and I was impressed!…read more It's clean, well stocked, and organized. On the way in one of the cashiers offered my daughter a sticker. I'm so used to Wegmans, which is a powerhouse, that I was shocked to see how few registers they had up front. But the lines were not long. They have a good sized produce section, a deli, and a bakery. (Apparently they make the donuts from scratch!) I picked up a few of those to try, and they were delicious. In the back by the bakery is a cute little floral department. Spring gnome decorations were EVERYWHERE, and my daughter thought that was just THE BEST. There is also a pharmacy nestled right in the middle of the store. Prices were a bit more expensive than you'd find at the "big box" stores for many items, but I saw quite a few that were price comparable or cheaper. They've got some great day of the week deals (like sticks of butter on Tuesday, a half gallon of milk on Friday). I also loved the signage - they tagged gluten free, dairy free, heart healthy, and sales were easy to spot. For being a smaller store, they also had a pretty great selection of specialty items! There was a good 4ft sized section in produce devoted to meat free and dairy free right up front. I definitely plan on going back to try out more of the baked goods, and the pizza slices smelled delicious, too!

Highlight: A mid-high tier grocery chain store that is clean, well stocked, and pleasant to be in…read more Produce prices are a little high, but everything here is high quality and not likely to go bad easily. Normal and competitive prices for all household items, dried goods, etc that are comparable to Costco. If you want cheaper items but lower quality, then Tops is the competing grocery store in this region. Tips: this is a chain that has an advantage card thingy. The app keeps tabs of your receipts, gives you coupons, and discounts. Produce: Prices here can be a little steep- almost comparable to things at Whole Foods. However the quality here is excellent. You won't find anything yellowing and going bad on any aisle. A bundle of scallions can stay fresh and crisp in your fridge for a whole week. Depending on season, some produce can be super cheap. For example, in the summer, a clamshell of blueberries can be as low as 5.99 compared to the 6.99 at Costco- none of the berries are moldy and can last for 1.5 weeks. Their selection of herbs are a little small, but their organic section is pretty well fledged. Home goods: Toilet paper, plastic bags, etc are competitive prices to Walmart and Costco in terms of quality and price- the plus side is that you aren't stuck with bulk amounts from Costco. I find that their soaps and cosmetic prices are more competitive than Ulta and drug stores. Dried Goods: They have their own Wegman's brand item and Top Care products, and I guarantee everything here is high quality. Even the Wegman's products are as comparable to Mariani's Dried Fruits for example. Beer/Spirits: there is a side liquor store part of the Wegman's. You can buy beers inside the main store and go to the side for a side part of spirits. Pharmacy: There's a pharmacy and section with over the counter goods. THey offer the Top Care brand and the normal brand. Meats: You can buy almost every meat- hint, if you sometimes come in the morning, you can find discounted meats but still good quality. Fish can be a little pricy- I tend to lean towards Costco for my fish, but everything else is good. Dairy: Wegman's yogurt tends to trend towards the tart taste- so if you like sweeter varieties, then you can add your own sugar/jam. Eggs and milk are ok priced. I've had a hit/miss with the milk here- sometimes it goes bad faster than others. International Grocery: They do a pretty good job here providing the necessary things needed to make most goods. The prices may be 1$ more than the original ethnic store, but the goods are authentic. You can pick up the original brands of garam masala, soy sauces, European goods etc here for a fair price. IF you can't find more obscure spices, then hit up Asia Food Market or the Indian market right on west Henrietta outside of Rustic Village.

My wife told me about her experience at this Walmart this past Friday. A little backstory of that…read moreshe is 8.5 months pregnant and was with our 3-year-old daughter who loves to help scan items. My wife picked up some items we needed during midday at this particular Walmart in Victor, and when she was using the self register, she was scanning items and our daughter was trying to scan items as well as it set off the shoplifting alarm in on the register and the male attendant came over and was terribly rude and made a scene so that other shoppers stopped and watched to her even after she explained that our daughter was trying to eagerly help scan items (again she's just 3) and everything was scanned. The attendant, went through my wife's shopping bags, without permission, to make sure everything was accounted for and basically accused every other item he saw in the bag to be not scanned until my wife SHOWED HIM on the register where it was scanned. Every item one by one. Meanwhile he threatened her that "he already voided someone's order today, he's not afraid to do it again with her", then turns to our 3 year daughter and asked her if she's been naughty this year because Santa's watching her. After my wife accounted for all her items in the bags, she said he stood there to watch the remainder of the items being scanned all while trying to look and see if there was something in her stuffed in her coat because, you know, SHE'S EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT!!! SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE IS CARING TWINS!! How about next time, when you see a pregnant mom, struggling with a little toddler you ask to help her instead of accuse her of stealing and threatening to void her transaction and stand there and stare at her stomach to see if she stealing something under the coat. I found everything I needed easily, aisles are well marked, and organized, place was clean, staff were helpful for the one item I couldn't find. Checkout had a 1 register open with a long line, but self checkout, which I use, was moving steady so got out in just a couple minutes. Definitely going to stop back in when in the area, nice store, thanks.
