We chose Menehune Water Company for our home's clean water drinking source because they are always fast to respond, accommodating, friendly, and timely with deliveries!   Our household was heavily affected by mold in the aftermath of the Kona Low Storms, and we had to evacuate. Our water cooler was inaccessible. Mel, Mary, and Miley/Maile all took the time to listen to our situation and were incredibly helpful and patient with resolving this unusual issue.   Their team spoke with Ken Simon, owner and founder of Menehune, who was gracious and very understanding; he waived our outstanding bill and the $50 fee for the damage / loss of the cooler. I had water delivery for quite awhile, recently the deliveries became unreliable, first couple times I was told it was from shortage of drivers. Then the non-delivery lasted for a few days with the explanation that the delivery person, who I was told was the same person that has been servicing the building for a long time, said they could not get into the building. If the manager who is usually in the front office in the lobby isn't there to let them in, all they have to do is use the call box and I can remotely let them in. I called several times to let them know about the lack of service but nothing was done. Just no delivery and no service! Bottles just sat outside for days. I'm cancelling the service and going to Aloha Water for new water delivery! They don't even provide any update if the delivery person will make a drop. Don't know what happened but Menehune Water really went downhill fast and became really unreliable with poor service!! read more

I've had Menehune water delivery for many years, and love how convenient it is to have water delivered right to my front door. Whenever I call customer service they are so pleasant and helpful, in processing payments or with any questions I may have. The other day I missed my water delivery. I called customer service and was assisted by Maile. I explained to her my situation and said she'll try to get a delivery out to me. To be truthful I didn't think I was going to get a delivery the very next day. Only because I needed only one 5 gallon. Well... I arrived at home yesterday to find that one 5 gallon bottle sitting on my porch. Now that's exceptionally customer service on how Maile followed through with my call and helped me to get my water delivery, don't have to wait for my next delivery date. Letter sent to Menehune but never received a response just yet: Despite multiple emails and numerous phone calls regarding repeated delivery issues--including your ongoing shortage of delivery drivers and concerns about our assigned driver--we have not seen consistent improvement in service. Unfortunately, this has left us with no choice but to discontinue our account. Anyone else have issues with their water being delayed in delivery? I had to call and ask them if the water was being delivered to be told they are short on drivers but I pay my bill on time! I also have a video of the delivery guy ripping off my nice kind note to bring the bottles to the top of the stairs and still leaving the bottles at the bottom of the steps. Idk what happened but in the beginning it was great service now the service has gone downhill. I also sent the video to Menehune Water's customer service and no response. read more

Please think twice before signing up for Menehune. It's really hard getting your water delivered. They advise us to order through email. So after two emails attempts and we still haven't received any delivery I decided to call them. It took one hour before someone picked up. I explained to Michell that we're supposed to receive our water and no one showed up. Michell was very rude and told me that no one is coming today. There was no delivery note on their end. So I asked to speak to the manager and she rudely cut me off and came back with the response that her manager is on vacation. She then hang up on me again. read more

Customer service doesn't respond to emails. Forever waiting holds trying to get through to address service/billing issues. Having to address these kind of issues more than once indicates serious operational problems within the company. Their billing statements do not have detailed breakdown - they just lump tax in totals without showing product costs. Just hard to read. The negative experiences far outweigh the convenience factor of water delivery to my door. I rate them zero star and cannot recommend (it shows one because it's the only to review). read more

Pros: staff is usually very nice. In my experience, they always deliver bottles on the dates they list on the calendar. I have only gotten the ultra pure water, the quality and taste is good. Cons: I have sent emails on more than one occasion requesting to cancel delivery services on certain days - sometimes they don't reply and end up delivering anyways or say that they never got the email. Superb, phenomenal, whatever other big brain word you wanna call it, this water has it. I've never done water delivery before in my life. I tried the Menehune water from the gas station on MCBH and I was thought "I need this at my house" so I get the 5 gallon jugs now. Water is not super expensive in my mind and is affordable. I would call it mid range pricing for high quality water. I get deliveries and they're always on time. No complaints. Anyone who says this water is anything but amazing is a big dummy and doesn't understand the water game. I consider myself a water connoisseur. Customer service is non existent. Extremely long hold times by phone and email replies can take a week or more if you get one. The only time you get a quick reply is from sales when you want to start a new account. This has been the case for at least a year now and is incredibly frustrating. The last few times we've called, we've been given incorrect information regarding delivery dates. The last time, the rep had to call us back to say they made a mistake and our records were indeed correct. Currently looking to switch to a new company. I feel like Menehune Water used to be the gold standard but something has changed. I'm open to giving them another try in the future but when you are unable to contact a company by phone or email in a timely manner, the rest doesn't matter. read more

I've been a loyal Menehune Water Company customer for over 6 years. Unfortunately, the last 2 years have been filled with extremely poor customer service. I never received my delivery calendar email this year, and when I asked for one, I was told to print it -- but I don't even know which route I'm on, so that's not helpful. When I emailed to report a cracked water bottle, I never got a response. When I emailed to suspend my service, I also never received a reply -- and instead, I've had two deliveries since that request, with no acknowledgment from the company. The water itself is fine, and while I occasionally receive a damaged bottle, that's something I can live with. The real problem is the lack of communication and follow-through. Every time I've reached out -- whether by phone or email -- no one answers, and no one calls or emails back. It seems as though I'm finally experiencing the same level of service as everyone else. Today was supposed to be our delivery day and we got nothing. I've tried calling and of course no one ever answers. I emailed two people. Not the customer service e email address but their personal Menehune Water email addresses and still no response. The one thing you can count on for a quick response though is through yelp. They obviously don't want to bee seen as bad but that's hard to do now. And second, is if they need to collect money from you. When will my next water delivery be? I have absolutely no clue.
