I asked if I could see the kittens. I'd been there a few weeks prior but left kittenless. I was just not sure about adding a new kitten into our home. Fast forward to the other day... Inside one of two kitten rooms, you can sit with kittens! (Reminds me of Rocky Kanaka and his "Sitting With Dogs" YouTube's.) So I went inside and lo and behold, a Siamese mix kitten came right up to me! I took that kitty home, OF COURSE I DID! We named the kitten, Thai-Too. I kept Keiki, a Toy Poodle, on leash till they got to know eachother. I think it went well! ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍Note: he was already neutered and chipped at the facility! Wow, I lucked out.

The dog adoption site is also very very nice people that run that are extremely nice and again very very clean and have some cute cute dogs, cats and other animals. We gave our boy to her (which was SUPER hard since we are hardly ever away from him) to bond and find a bunwife, and he did! With the help of this rescue, our boy is happier than ever. I was so nervous about the process and leaving him because it was my first time, but Rhiannon was so kind and helpful along the way. We were not able to meet Rhiannon until our drop off day because of her Covid policies, which is totally understandable because everyone is trying to be safe during these uncertain times. When we arrived Rhiannon greeted us with a warm smile, and that totally eased my nerves. We had a nice chat, and I was able to get to know her better. During our chat I could tell that she had a beautiful soul and she genuinely loved her job and it was a plus that my dog seem to really like her. It was really great because she gave me updates and photos while she had my dog, and it was awesome because I could see that he was enjoying his time at doggy daycare. I am so glad I found Rhiannon, She is absolutely amazing and I can tell that giving dogs the best care is her passion. Her home is nicely set up and is in a nice neighborhood in a quiet cul-de-sac. She has double gates and a nice area of grass for dogs to do their business. Prada, the more social one did well but Mia, the squeamish one had a harder time adapting as she is our high anxiety dog. It has taken me several weeks to write this review but I just cannot let others use Jennifer…read morewithout hearing from me. She had taken care of my dog and cat several years ago and when I hired her for a 3 week stay I was confident that they and my home would be well cared for. First, when I returned my home was filthy (despite the fact that I had housekeepers the week before) . The countertops in the kitchen was not clean, the floors (all laminate easily mopped) were stained and dirty, and her long hair was all over the floor in my bathroom (which she wasn't supposed to use). My housekeepers then advised that when they were there the living area was full of feces (pictures taken) -- much more than a small dog could have produced in several days. She was to administer an ear medicine on my dog and altho it appears she did, her ear was so greasy that the groomer had to cut quite bit of her beautiful long hair as it was too matted. Jennifer was to walk my dog 1-1.5 miles every day. After all this I decided to check my ring camera. At no time did she take her out for more than fifteen minutes. Impossible to walk that distance in the short period of time. No wonder the dog pooped in the house. The long haired cat was well groomed but that is the only positive thing I can say.

We knew his time was limited given his age, but held onto hope that it was an ear issue. I called on a Tuesday and was able to get a morning appointment for Wednesday. Arrived and we were seen fairly quickly. Unfortunately, my Steve dog likely had a tumor that was inoperable. While the vet did give us options, we knew Steve was suffering and lived a happy 13ish years. We had to make a very tough choice.
