I would not recommend especially for renting a suit. The salesman assisting my husband and me was incredibly rude and came across as very pretentious. Since we had never rented a suit before, we had a lot of questions about the fit and what adjustments could be made. Every time I asked, he dismissively responded with, "It's a rental," without offering any real explanation or help. We went in already aware that my husband's build (muscular with a smaller waist) might make renting difficult, and we were open to purchasing a suit for a better fit. However, due to how uncomfortable and unwelcome the experience felt, we just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. We also felt like we were treated as less important simply because we were renting instead of buying. Instead of feeling confident in our choice, we ended up settling for a rental that doesn't fit well at all. Overall, we're extremely disappointed with the experience. If it weren't for the strict dress code for the groomsmen, we absolutely would have taken our business elsewhere. read more

The staff member working the register did not seem to know what she was doing, and struggled to check out a group for approximately 15 minutes, while I waited for a simple pickup. I was looking for some new pants to add to my wardrobe and went in. I have purchased items in the past and it had been a long time since I had gone in to shop. Took me a while to find someone to help me even though there was someone who was checking prices on suits. He seemed more interested in his pricing than helping me. When I finally got someone to help me the sales person was helpful and professional. The taylor did the necessary markings to do the alterations. The price was good and I was please with the process. When I went to pick up the altered pants the week later it was a challenge to find someone to help me again not sure if they have the staff. read more

I can't express how thankful my family and I are to the Sales Rep Jason and the Head of Alterations for their excellent service and above and beyond work they did. We went in to purchase suits for my Mom's funeral and not only were we able to purchase the suits the same day but alterations made it possible to pick up the suits in 3 hours! I've always liked Men's Wearhouse. It's a bit spendy to shop at all of the time, but if you want a weekend outfit you will definitely find one here. I went in there to rent my tuxedo for my 25th Anniversary-Wedding and for all of our wedding party and I was treated very rude by the manager after we spent over $17,000 on suits for my brothers funeral a year ago. I dont recomend this place at all if you dont walk in wearing a suit. So we took our business to Suits Unlimited a local suit rental company and they treated us like family. Not like the other rude workers. We will never recomend Mens Warehouse to no one ever. read more

Generally not happy with the prices for generally loe quality at Men's Wearhouse. I bought a pair of shoes online which I thought I would really like. They did not fit right after I went into the store to size them with the brand the store did not carry them. I was transferred several times by the customer service rep when I try to make an exchange which was a nightmare. I will never shop at the store again Now instead of sending me the shoes that I purchased already to my house I have to come back in person to the store it's the only way they will make this exchange. in other words there is no online store you just have to pay for things up front and see if you happen to get them. It's as if Comcast were a clothing store that's what mens Wearhouse is. No manager was available to assist me while I was there but I asked for them to be available when I return to pick up the shoes I bought. Terrible. Incompetent. Stay away! Had a $600+ custom sportcoat made by MW. Never again. The buttons on both sleeves were put on wrong. They are not evenly spaced and each button overlaps the next button. The handkerchief/ascot pocket on the left breast was installed wrong. It bulges out. Inside the left side of the jacket is a label that says "Custom Made for [my name]. They spelled my name wrong. I purchased 2 pairs of wool dress pants from them in August 2017. They had the pant leg length altered. They were to be done with no cuffs. The legs on both pairs were 3 to 4 inches too long. One pair had cuffs. Stay the heck away from the Albuquerque Men's Wearhouse unless you need a necktie or a shirt. Period. I now buy from Lands' End. Better quality for less money and if something needs to be returned I just take it to the Sears at Coronado since Sears owns Lands' End. Then I have a fine tailor service (Sew Whateva) on Wyoming for any alterations. Men's Wearhouse in Albuquerque is a disgrace! read more

I walked in one day to buy a suit for my wedding and I was the last person in the store to be helped not even greeted with a "hello" or "how are you doing" "will be right with you please be patient". Absolutely no acknowledgment from any employees. I walked in before 3 or 4 other people and all of them received service before me. I was dressed in sweats and a hoodie and they treated me like I didn't belong in the store. Yet out of all those people before me I was the only one to make a purchase. When I was finally helped the lady that helped me wasn't interested in anything besides making a sale and didn't care about what I wanted when it came to the purchase. I ended up buying a custom made suit but this lady that was helping me was super pushy and hardly asked what i wanted when putting the suit together Acting as if I dont know anything about suits or style and not considering what I like. I didn't want to buy anything from this place but i remained patient for my fiancés sake because she really like the color and the mater and we couldn't find this stuff anywhere else. We initially were planning on having all our guys in the wedding get the same suit but I changed location to Suits Unlimited because they made me feel welcomed and I appreciated there customer service much better than this place. I would suggest going somewhere besides Mens Wearhouse. I found typically when it comes to people that work at major retailers they are a lot different and lack a lot of customer service qualities that should be present compared to locally owned businesses. read more

A pair of my husband's suit pants needed to be taken out..just a small tailoring thing. Even though the suit wasn't purchased at men's wearhouse, when he walked in with the pants they agreed to do just what he needed, right then and there, at no charge! It was great because he needed the suit for a trip we are taking this weekend. He was very pleased with their service. We also used this location for our wedding two years ago. All of the groomsmen were from out of state, but getting all of their suits fitted and ready for our big day was so smooth. We really appreciate their customer service-it's so rare these days! I called to ask if appointments were available and was told that it was first come first serve. When I arrived with my elderly parents, the door was locked. The salesman came to the door and said that they were at capacity and that we would have to wait outside for at least 30 minutes. I asked if they had a number system to hold our place in line and he said no. I asked if my parents were supposed to stand in the hot sun for 30 minutes. Albert (wardrobe consultant) was very knowledgeable in name brand quality, pairing and matching of clothing and shoes. He provided style suggestions I would not have considered. I feel one star is being nice. The amount of disrespect we were treated with at this location was completely off-putting. We made an appointment and showed up 5 minutes early. The woman at the rental desk said "it will be 15-20 minutes" without even apologizing. We wondered why it would take so long since we had made an appointment and she shoots back "we had other appointments before you" still no apology. Really? I know you have other appointments and we would have been happy to wait if she treated us with some respect. So we waited her 15-20 minutes and even a bit longer. So, my man needed to sharpen up his threads for work to dress for the job he wants rather than the job he has - smart, right? - and we had gotten a few random things at a MW in our previous town, so we started there. Good thing we did! We walked in and were greeted by Neo, who turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to us. That man can pick out a new wardrobe in sixty seconds flat. Astonishing. Everything you could possibly want in a fashion consultant and more. We started out just getting a new suit and some shirts and ties. But over the past few months we have completely revamped his wardrobe, adding ties, pants, coats, shoes, even an overcoat. He looks SO SHARP!!!!! MW has a great selection of ties, shirts and everything else you could possibly want. But the best thing they have is Neo. Seriously - if you need anything at all he can help you, and I have learned so much about how to match clothes for my husband just from talking to him. He is incredibly helpful and nice, and always willing to find what you need. The costs do add up, but MW has a program where you get a $50 gift certificate for every $500 you spend - I know, sounds like a lot, but it goes by quick. Plus they have frequent deals and coupons, and I get solicited for surveys which lead to additional coupons, so they are pretty good about taking care of their customers. Plus - NEO!!! Go. Try. Men's Wearhouse didn't live up to it's claims of "world-class service" or guaranteeing that I "like the way you look." 1. Not only did they mess up my measurements badly, but they convinced me it would be a good idea to pick up the tux in San Antonio because it would cost me $20 less because I'd pick it up a day later. After doing this, the lady sent the tux to be picked up in Albuquerque, which I found out once I got to San Antonio. 2. What is greatly disappointing is the lack of concern at sending the tuxedo to the wrong state and getting the size wrong. I'm not upset at the reasonable request that I drive back to the San Antonio store after the suit was overnighted. The Albuquerque store blew not only job number one, but number two as well. While they could overnight it, I would have to make the hour-long drive one-way again the day of the wedding. They knocked off a measley $25, which they tried to recoup as a late fee when I turned my tux in today (Monday) at the Las Cruces location. 3. Lastly, the Las Cruces manager was indignant and told me that I should have told the Albuquerque manager I was traveling (she knew) and chastised me for not reading the fine print in the contract because I should be responsible. I was told it wouldn't be a problem to get the suit back anytime over the weekend. The town I started from on my return venture doesn't have a Men's Wearhouse and I was driving until after they closed Sunday night in Las Cruces. San Antonio would have been a two hour detour from our already long drive Sunday of 8 hours. I am now taking responsibility by advising you that Men's Wearhouse doesn't seem to care about their customers. read more

My family has used men's wearhouse twice this year for weddings. In April our son got married. When he went to pick up his suit and accessories the day before his wedding they had ordered the wrong size shirt for him. He is a 3x, the shirt might have fit a medium size person. They weren't able to get the correct size for him before his wedding so we had to hunt all over town to try and find one the right color! They didn't even offer to knock anything off the price. And all the pants for the groom and the 5 groomsmen were too tight. What good does measuring do if they can't get the size correct! My daughter got married a week ago. The wrong ties were ordered for the groomsmen and ring bearer. It took my daughter close to an hour on hold trying to fix the problem and order the correct ones. Still didn't get what they originally ordered. And my son (the groom from the April wedding) was given pants several sizes toooooooo small. They were able to get him pants in time for the wedding, but one simple bow tie for the ring bearer never did come in correct. The cost at this place should mean that you get way better service and merchandise than what you get. It is outrageous how much it costs to rent suits and/or tuxes. And it is highway robbery for the ring bearers suit/tux to cost the same as a grown mans!!!!! We will NEVER shop here again. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! read more
