Might be a decent enough cookie cutter men's suit store if you could ever get service. I waited over 25 mins for someone to help me. No one did. Another customer walked in and the salesperson recognized them and started helping them over me. Not professional, didn't make me feel welcome here. Literally made me feel like a burden. read more

Service was so slow even though there was no one in the store. There's constantly an employee on the floor who refuses to help customers claiming he's either on break or clocked out but stays out on the floor goofing off with other coworkers. The selection is pretty good and the prices are good it's just a service issue. Employees are rude and not useful at all, it's like they're trying to ignore the customers. read more

Going into the Mens Warehouse I was greeted by one associate while he was helping a customer. However, the associate that originally was going to help my husband and I (not busy) seemed like it was out if his way to look up my sons group number. He had a look of disappointment when I told him I didn't have it. He said it'll take 5 minutes. Five minutes. Really? While two other associates sit behind a desk not looking like they were not busy at all. But, I don't think they heard the conversation. I went into the stores to buy suites for me and my friends back in August. I want to leave this review because their customer service was awesome and helpful. Fast forward a couple months to December, and Joanne from the store calls me up to tell me I have credit for men's warehouse from my purchase. My fiancé pointed me here to handle all the groomsmen suits and so on for our wedding. The first time we went in we were told that they would match the ties and everything we would need with the dresses that my fiancé were getting.. that sounded cool and what we wanted so we went with them. When I actually went in with my brother to be fitted for his suit they told us they didn't actually match the colors but just co-ordinate.. this totally threw off our entire plans as she had picked like 4 different colors for the dresses and we had this elaborate plan of having certain guys wear certain ties that matched certain dresses. I also wanted brown suits for the groomsmen.. unfortunately they only had one option if you want brown and that was to have everyone have pleated pants and suits with shoulders that looked big enough to hold two shoulder pads. Needless to see we couldn't have brown for our suit color. I feel like my entire experience here was a matter of not getting what I wanted but more a matter of settling for what they had. I'm sure this place is find if you want a traditional black tux and tie wedding party..but if you want anything out of the ordinary or special.. you should look elsewhere. read more

I stopped through this store completely unexpected simply because it was easily accessible off of the freeway. A voice in my head told me to stop in, because I was on the way to a DJ gig that required a bowtie and a suit jacket/blazer. I was extremely pressed for time, already running late to the gig and clearly expressed my situation including my finances. Looking for the best possible deal known to man on planet earth I wasn't planning on spending the money that I did. Long story short I was extremely grateful for the services of the store manager Ramon and his super awesome formalwear manager Jaci provided. These two undoubtedly went above and beyond to not only meet the criteria I had clearly communicating upon my arrival, but also provided a $30 off bonus bucks card and free suit bag! Worst customer service I have experienced in Austin hands down. I rented some ties for a wedding not only were they tattered and late to arrive, the staff was late to call me about it n blamed me for showing up late. So I complained but kept the ties bc my plane left the next morning for the wedding. One person was apologetic but the other three were openly rude n disrespectful. Terribly ignorant staff n disgracefully rude. When I returned them there was a different staff member who called me the tie guy. So they also gossip. How insulting. read more

I always enjoy shopping here, not just for the quality of the clothing, but for the pampering attention from a knowledgeable and caring staff. Department stores used to provide men's clothing service like this, but alas, are no more. MW still provides excellent service. Earlier this week, I was assisted by store manager Ramon Nierva. A man of sharp taste, as demonstrated by his own style, I found him an outstanding conversationalist and expert in the current state of men's semi- and formal fashion style. Gentlemen, treat your self to Saville Row service at working man prices. MW is now offering custom suit making (you pick your fabric) and a suit can me made for you in about two months. My son, daughter, and I were there today to get my son's tux for prom. The salesman was so extremely kind and patient! He went above and beyond for 2 hours, helping us! Each time my son decided on a look, something went wrong(didn't have the pants in his size, an article of clothing wasn't available anymore, or my son changes his mind), the salesman rolled with it and helped us until we found the suit that fit right and one that my son felt good in. He never pawned us off on anyone else or acted as if we were a bother(even though he had to be tired and frustrated, haha). Definitely a great salesman! read more

Read this long post if you're getting married or in a bridal party. It's not an angry post, but an accurate account of our experience with this store. I recently got married and I wanted to get set up though Men's Wearhouse, as I've never had a bad experience with them before (been there a few times in different locations). This time was a mistake. Before going on, I want to mention that this review is directed more towards MW as a business. The lady that helped us was awesome. We made arrangements to get fitted based on a timeline provided by the employee we initially sat down with. We showed up, got fitted, and were then told that we needed to come back and get fitted again at a later time. We showed up again for the second fitting at a date closer to the wedding (also on a date recommended by the store). So far, two fittings (I never had to be fitted twice at MW before, but you can never be too sure, right?). After being notified that our suits were ready for pickup, we excitedly hurried over to the store. So far, everyone's suit was fitting just fine... until mine wasn't. It wasn't even close to the correct size, no amount of tweaking on this particular suit would have been sufficient. The pants were way too long, and the jacket went all the way down just below mid-thigh. I know, I could've gone in earlier (again), but in my previous experience with MW, I never had to get fitted twice and also do a check-up before walking off with a little over $200 rental - yes, over $200 for a suit you can't keep. I was told there was nothing that can be done in what was probably the least empathetic customer service I could ever imagine. This was the day before my wedding, and these guys couldn't care less (I was only a paying customer, right?). Instead, one of the guys there (I'm guessing a manager) was talking to me about how I was going to receive either a free custom suit or $400 worth of products (could be wrong on that number) from their store as part of a limited promotion (not because of the experience I was having). I'm guessing this was for bringing in a bunch of business. We had to do something. We drove over to the San Marcos outlets and instead went to a competitor. I had to take the pants MW gave us to try and match the color. Because of this, they might have gotten a bit wrinkled (which is likely why they didn't want to reimburse them - later on that). Their competitor got us set up that same day with a really nice tux. It was roughly the same price, but at least I got to keep this one. *Apologies for continuing to refer to this place as "their competitor", I don't want it to seem like I'm using this review to promote a specific rival. I called MW after the wedding to get my money back. They weren't going to provide a refund for anything other than the jacket - despite nothing being used (to my understanding, this was later extended to the full price in a later call). On top of that, the guy mentioned that the promotion could still be available to me, but a regional manager (if I remember correctly) was going to contact me to let me know. I never received a call, and I also never received my refund. Instead, you all get an honest review of what could happen before your big event... hopefully not your wedding. Reasons to go to this Men's Warehouse: - One cool employee - Mostly clean Reasons not to go to this Men's Warehouse: - Unorganized - Not reliable - Over-priced rentals - Overall, lousy customer service. (Except for that one cool employee mentioned earlier) - Their word can't be trusted. *** Reasons to go to elsewhere: - Comparable (if not higher) quality is provided at other businesses. - Better value - you can keep what you pay for at about the same price, if not less. - Group packages are not unique to MW. We received a VIP experience elsewhere. (I really want to name drop right now) - Other places may be more bride friendly. (Brides, imagine being told the equivalent of "welp, nothing we can do for your fiance. See ya!" the day before your wedding. It happened to us. I hope you didn't read this in an angry tone, because I'm not angry, just disappointed. I just don't want to risk others potentially going through the same thing. No one needs that. I hope this review was informative. If you take away anything from this, let it be to at least shop around a bit more. There doesn't seem to be anything that Men's Wearhouse can offer that isn't offered elsewhere for a better value. (San Marcos outlets - I'll give you that) Men's Wearhouse, if you're reading this you can keep the money. After all, this review may cost you a lot more for not doing the right thing. P.S. I dont usually write reviews but I was really disappointed with Men's Warehouse this evening. I needed a suit for a wedding this weekend and decided to give them a look. I went into the store and proceeded to look at suits and begin to try on jackets and look at pants. I was there for 15 minutes and not one associate greeted or asked if I needed assistance. The two people I saw working there both saw me but said nothing. I was one of only four people in the store. I simple hello or can I help you would have been nice. We were surprisingly dissatisfied with the service we received, especially for our groomsmen. First, my fiancee's simple maiden name was input into the system incorrectly - which made it difficult for my groomsmen to find the details in the system. Not only that, but I couldn't get into the system to associate it with my account so that I could try to fix it. Wrong sized garments and missing information were some serious setbacks into making it a smooth process. One of my groomsmen had to switch out his vest (which was mistakenly a youth size) to an adult size, and he didn't receive his pocket square to match the other groomsmen. My nephew, which we were told was going to be in the system - just in a smaller size - did not show up in the system when we asked about him. His parents were then forced to buy a suit, which is unacceptable. Overall, I'm quite surprised at how bad of an experience we had. Since the garments are good quality, it was our wedding party experience that was the big problem. read more

I have never known anyone who has had issues with mens wearhouse until I tried to use them for my groomsmen in my wedding. I initially tried setting up a group online but the website is not user friendly in the slightest. Then I called over the phone and the man who helped me actually made it seem simple and set everything up for me and said the jackets that I wanted would just be cheaper for my groomsmen to purchase than to rent a jacket. So I went ahead and told him to attach the purchase to the group number. Then my groomsmen tried buying at the store and they didn't have in stock and could not order it. So they were told to go online since it was "in stock." They then try to order online and it is completely out of stock for sizes 36-40. So they call the storefront back and then what do you know, they say it's out of stock online. And that we would just have to wait for it to come back in stock and there's no way of knowing if or when that would happen. So I try calling a different store front and they inform me that if the same, that I would either have to get a custom jacket or rent one that I don't like. All in all, they don't even know how to work their own system and communication is non existent. read more

Fabulous selection and attentive salesman! My very hard to fit husband needed to buy his first suit in 15 years and we were both dreading it. But, we walked into the Men's Wearhouse at 2:30 and walked out less than an hour later with a reasonably priced suit, shirt and tie fully altered, steamed and ready to wear. Noah was very patient, listened to Robert's needs and concerns and fit him with exactly what he needed. They were able to hem and alter the pants while we waited. read more

I've been to various suit stores and this was by far the easiest and classy. I got two suits and they were running a special. I believe she was the operations manager here and she definitely knew her stuff. WOW, what a wonderful feeling it to walk into a store and have the sales attendants actually pay attention to your every need. I was in their "computer" with my widths and lengths so all they had to do was point me in the right attention. This is the one in the South Park Meadows shopping center. Phillip is awesome but so is Sergio. This seems to be a smaller store than that of Barton Creek but it is convenient and they can get most of the same merchandise. I also went here because the first time my husband wore a new pair of his slacks, wouldn't you know the pocket ripped...... They fixed it for free. YEAY! One thing that we had not been told about was the MW frequent buyer card...it stores a dollar for each point which can be converted to savings on future purchases which is great for us! They will be having sales again on the buy one get one pants near Christmas so that is definitely something to wait for an participate in! read more

Parking can be a challenge during peak hours. Staff is nice but very, very pushy. Men's Wearhouse is tied in with David's Bridal and if you want to have a bunch of discounts, free stuff and junk e-mail/snail mail, use them both for your wedding parties. I was much happier with my David's Bridal store in Natick, MA then our experience with Men's Wearhouse in Austin. They don't let the guys try on any tuxes so you're working off holding things up in front of you. So very strange. We'll see, still 9 months to go until the big day. read more

Cant get lower than one star Purchased a suit on 9/11 at a total of nearly 500 dollars. This is where the manager or owner might want to look at security recording IF they have it. Just want the person in charge to see what happened.. My fiance and I went to pick the suit up today 9/25, at around 5:45 PM. Check the tapes guys. We walked in and were greeted by "NOBODY" we were in the store for 5 min before one of two people, whoever the were, sat conducting an interview in the back. Finally, about 5 min later a guy got up from the interview and asked us if we need help. I told him I was picking up my suit. He got my name and got my suit, on a hanger, no bag. He said, do you want to try it on, I said yes, and he disappeared with the suit and sat back down at the interview to play with his cell phone. Wheres the suit ?. I looked thru all the dressing rooms until I found it. Tried it on and waited for somebody "ANYBODY" to follow up on what they did. Nobody came over, nobody asked anything about the suit or the fit. There was only 2 people in the store and both sitting at the interview. We waited and waited. We could have stolen ties, shirts, entire suits and they wouldnt have known. Absolutely no one either cared or payed us any attention. AGAIN GUYS CHECK YOUR TAPES.. After we spent some time in the store unattended, a young guy walked into the store and went to the back. He also said nothing to us. A short time later I found him sitting on a stool amongst the suits, playing on his cellphone and I asked if he worked there. He said yes. I told him we were picking up a suit and he said he thought someone was helping us. Really? Who? Nobody was watching the store. I think this location would be perfect for any of the vagrants that live a block away to do some championship shoplifting because lets face it, not only does the service suck, the staff is non existent. The place was nearly and completely unattended. The guy sitting on the stool got up and put the suit in a bag and said thank you. This guy had NO IDEA who we were or if I paid for what I handed him. I could have handed him 3 suits and he would have bagged it up. Didnt give me a receipt, nothing, never even checked. Is this place that screwed up ?? If the manager wants to get in touch with me, BRING IT ON. My ticket number is 1991741. Now for anyone looking for a great suit dont make the same mistake I made. I knew I should have gone to Nordsrom Rack and got a fantastic suit, great tailoring (which is a complaint here) and a fantastic LIFE LONG warranty for return of the garment. And, I have gotten beautiful Italian suits at The Rack for a few hundred. Well worth it. Read the prior reviews of Mens Warehouse. Good Luck. 500 dollars and this is what to expect. My husband and I come here all of the time and we love Lisa so much. Unfortunately, she was not here today and I didn't have the best experience. When I walked in to grab a few of my husbands items that we had been waiting on,there was no one manning the front desk, so I waited. I looked over and saw the entire staff sitting or standing at the back and I did see that they noticed me and yet they continued hovering around the computer. I walked back there and they helped a gentleman in front of me and said nothing to me. I waited a couple of minutes for their attention. No one stepped forward until I spoke up and said could I have someone help me at the front, so that I can get the items that we've ordered. Silence ( like I'm an intrusion and they're all waiting for someone to offer to help me). Finally, a very nice Hispanic man with glasses offered to help. When he stepped into the back,I said sorry I wasn't sure if you all worked the back only( which I knew they didn't), but there wasn't anyone in the front. A white woman with light curly hair and glasses said we work the front too. We're busy doing our schedule right now. So what you're telling me is that my business isn't important to you right now. I'm in the customer service industry and this is a big no no. Your schedule doesn't take priority over customers coming in and since there are only two computers, and only one person can be on the computer at a time then maybe the other 4 of you should be working instead of hovering or maybe do your schedule during lunch? I shouldn't have had stare at y'all waiting for assistance , then ask for help and then experience your not it silent game until someone decides to do their job. Funny how one of y'all jumped to help the man before me. I know that you make commission. Is this one of those things where y'all don't think you're going to make much off of me bc I'm a woman? The tuxes all came out fine and the guys looked really good. However, I did not like this vendor very much. The whole thing felt rather scammy and several of the guys reported that the salesmen they worked with (these were in Colorado and Louisiana) displayed a lack of professionalism. We had an appointment (with this store) to choose tuxes and still had to wait about half an hour to meet with their tux associate. They tried to charge my husband for his tux even though it was a rent so many, get the groom's free kind of deal. I was also not happy with the vest/tie selection. The colors felt rather limited and some seemed excessively prommy. I don't know if this is common at all tux shops or just here, but you'd think such a huge chain would offer more selection. On the other hand, we had guys coming to the wedding from all over the place, so they were able to get fitted in any store and pick up all the tuxes from a store closer to the wedding and then return the tuxes wherever, so we really appreciated that about the chain. They were also able to make adjustments last minute for one of the groomsmen whose pants didn't fit. If I had to do it over again, I would have probably looked for a different option. I called last month in order to make an appointment for our groomsmen to come in, look at our options and place an order for our wedding. At that time, I was told that no appointments were needed, they were strictly a walk in only business. Due to hectic schedules, it took a couple weeks before we were able to find a day we could all go in at once. We walk in and basically ignored for the first 5 minutes. I made eye contact with a couple of sales people and they simply turned around and went into the back. It wasn't until someone came up the register that we were acknowledged. At that point, they asked what we were needing and we said we were needing to look at renting suits for a wedding. They asked for the date of the event and what time our appointment was. I told them we didn't have an appointment but gave them the day of the wedding. They thanked us for not waiting till the last day but that due to not having an appointment, we could either wait around or make an appointment for a later date. It was at this point that I said that I had been told that no appointments were necessary. They told me I could go sign a book and when someone got to me, they would get to me but it would be a bit of a wait. We take a look at the book and there is only one person in front of us so we decided it wouldn't be that bad of a wait. And it wasn't, it was probably 5 minutes at the most. At that point, the sales person comes over to us and was very blunt. Not much of getting to know us, just points us to some coats and tells us to pick one so he can get measurements. He then goes on to tell us that they are currently having a sale and it would be cheaper to just buy a suit than to rent one. We tell him we are looking for pants and vests only and we were not going to dictate if the guys should buy or rent. He completely disregards us and keeps on about buying the suits. He makes it pretty obvious he is not listening to us, has to ask our names 3 times in a course of 5 minutes and then once, he starts measuring one of my guys, he basically yells across the store that they have nothing that will fit him, he will have to wear a backless vest. WTF?! First and foremost, my friend is a big guy, this is true but a good freind of mine, who JUST got married, rented a vest from them a month before and it wasn't backless! I insist that he try their large vest on him and wouldn't you know it, it fit. with room to spare. It was completely rude and embarrassing. We're never doing business with Men's Warehouse in Southpark Meadows again and will strongly encourage people to shop elsewhere. read more

Came here to get my suit for my wedding, was very pleased with the service. I brought my father in law to get a suit as well, we walked in and were greeted by a salesman immediately. Sales guys name was Brandon that helped us out. Brandon set me up with a linen suit for a good price and also set my father in law up with a matching suit. We came in expecting to spend at least 1000$ on both of our suits, we were surprised at the end. Brandon set us up with our button up shirts, lapel, cufflinks, socks, and leather style shoes to match our suits. We got to the register and it all ended up being buy one/get one free. we only had to pay for 1 outfit and walked out with two. We took our outfits home and went back to same location to get fitted before the wedding, suits were perfect. I can't say how thankful i am i did my research on their website for a good location and got lucky with a good sales associate. Trash!!!! Was gonna purchase a belt. I asked a gentleman if the section i was in, was the only belts they have. He said yes, then said "did you find one big eno,,,,,,did you find your size?" Truly the worst customer service I've seen in a long while. From start to finish, the guy fitting the tux barely took any measurements or looked at my son. When picking up the tux and it didn't fit well the woman acted like I was overreacting. The entire day he had to deal with a faulty latch on the pants not staying closed. When returning, I was surprised by a late fee, and met with unnecessary rudeness. Just an all-around bad experience. If you have the option to go else where, take it. Do they have nice suits? Yes. But when you're spending that much money, a little customer service goes a long way. read more
