The staff are so professional and organized here. I needed a tux for an upcoming wedding. Thankfully I was already in a group online, so I just needed to go in person for measurements. I had a really busy week coming up, so they were kind enough to last minute accept me not long before they closed. Getting measured was a breeze and they were patient as I tried out each piece and made necessary adjustments. The same applied when I needed to go pick it up. While I was trying everything on, they took the initiative to complete the checkout process while I was in the fitting room to streamline the process. The last bit is to return it, which I imagine will be as efficient as the rest of the process is. I'd recommend them to anyone in need of a tux! read more

We came in on a weekday afternoon with a very specific suit request: a suit that you could bike to work in without ruining it or dying of heat exhaustion on the way. The salesperson who helped us, Ron, was great. He guessed my husband's size by looking at him, and after thinking a few seconds says he thought they had a suit that fit the bill! (It's the J.O.E. Survival Suit in case anyone else has the same query). He found my husband's size in different colors and stood by ready to help if we needed it. Ron was polite and wasn't irritated when we said we weren't ready to buy yet. (Again, in case you're wondering, a lightweight, water resistant, durable dress suit will cost a pretty penny.) The store looked well organized and there were plenty of options to choose from, as you can see in the photos I took. The only thing I take a star away for is that they are clearly working with a lot of overhead costs that can only be passed on to the consumer. With the store perfectly arranged on a weekday afternoon, there were 6 employees there obviously waiting for their chance at a sale. It's not nice to call it "lurking," but it was something like that. Ron was behind the counter where we left him and five other gentlemen were hovering around the door waiting to pounce on the next person to walk in. I can't blame them for wanting to earn a living, but the *feeling* of so many salespeople waiting around creates pressure and is a little uncomfortable for the customer. I wish them the best at balancing "getting the sale" with relieving the pressure on customers. read more

Another great experience with David and his team. They are always on point and I leave with no worries. We have a yearly Ball and get 25-30 Tuxs from them. They don't have delivery service, but have always offered and brought the Tuxs to our event location. It would never be a success without them. read more

Went in to get a suit for my son who is in his brother's wedding on 9/14/19. Arrangements for the groom's party were made in the Cary, NC store and I thought there would be no issue with ordering/picking up the suit at this location. WRONG! David was very efficient with measuring and fitting my son but when it came time to pay for the suit and accessories we were told that the linen vest that was part of the package "wasn't available." I had to call the Cary, NC store in order to get everything we needed which we are now having shipped to the Gambrills store The store manager in the Cary, NC store couldn't understand why David was unable to obtain the vest in question when he had a large stock of them available. Let's hope the suit arrives in Gambrills as promised with the correct sizes. I can't understand why this couldn't have been done when we visited as this chain has numerous stores across the country. Very disappointing and more complicated than it needs to be. read more

My fiancé came to get fitted for a tux for our friend's wedding. We walked in and were told there would be a 30-45 minute wait. At this point we decided we would try the location next to the David's Bridals. We left and went to Macy's and had to walk past here to get to the car and decided to try again. It took the assistance of 3 people to complete the fitting. There's mostly young and unprofessional people here, sucking their teeth and breathing heavy. Go to a different location! read more

David was amazing! I was nervous because I don't identify as a man and many of my friends have told me of their horror stories while shopping for menswear. David was kind, respectful, super helpful and really made me want to come back to the store. He was very nice and took time to explain outfit choices to me as well as the specials the store was having. When I apologized since I didn't think I was really the target clientele, he told me not to apologize and that I was welcome and that despite the name the store does not only cater to men. Ordered tuxedo out of state for a pickup at this location. Pants were too big, opted for another set that needed adjustment of length, was advised pants would be ready the next morning. Pants were not ready at time of pkup, one of the managers opted to do the hemming but did a shabby job, took pants to sister store for further adjustment, had to wait an additional hour for a hemming. If there was an option to take the pants to be altered professionally that option should have been explored as opposed to wasting my time. I should have been notified that pants were not ready for pkup prior to my going in. There was no sense of urgency despite my communicating to them that I needed the pants the same day! read more

If I could give a zero. I would. I walk in three sales men "Black" watching TV. Looked never spoke. Guy walks in behind me. They speak right away. As I get closer one finally parts his lips. They guy behind me is getting service whole I'm sitting in a chair. Another guy walks in, they speak immediately to him. I sit and sit and sit and yet still no one says are you be helped, do you need anything. I wish this Fcks wore name tags. Buy it's May 31st at 1:15p. So management knows whos working those exact. Hours. Now I was here to purchase a tux. Buy I would never buy from this store. Older light skin gentleman, slick back hair. Horrible experience for renting tuxedos for our wedding. After everyone was measured and the suits came in almost everyone had to have alterations. But the worst part was on the day of our wedding we picked up our suits and my husband the groom did not have his shoes so my other groomsmen gave my husband his shoes and had to wearctennis shoes down the aisle. All there response was they didn't know where they were on only gave our groomsman 20 bucks for the inconvienence. I will never go back there again nor would I recommend them for tux rentals. Plus the rentals were really worn. The ties were frayed and the vests button popped off. read more

As a former retail representative, I thrive on excellent customer service. Candance was the first one who spoke and offered help. Although the experience began on a poorly timed ordeal, Men's Wearhouse pulled through by absolutely going out of their way to provide improved customer service. Dave, the Bowie Maryland Store Manager, made sure to be on site and the resolution was applied to the situation, clarification was made and we were eventually satisfied. For those reasons, I increased the rating from 1-Star to 3-Stars. I cannot bring myself to provide more of a star rating as I still feel the original measurements should have provided some guideline for the better-fitted tuxedo for my nephew. All-in-all Men's Wearhouse did step up to provide improved customer service. read more
