For my wife, she has tailored her wedding gown, many dresses, and a few other items. She is a professional and an artist, and is worthy of the highest level of respect. Since she is busy, she sometimes has help. If this is the case, check the work carefully because they aren't always as talented as Tatyana. My interaction with Alterations Plus was initially good - great work. However, there are challenges and it slid downhill from the initial visits: (1) The proprietor is never on-time. Always late. Be forewarned. (2) I paid the shop up front, with cash and received receipt for early payment. Ask for the receipt BEFORE leaving. (3) Unfortunately, the proprietor calls me while I am on vacation and attempts to collect additional fees that were already paid with by cash, and confirmed prior both verbally and by written receipt. Not a good look. (4) I collected the last few garments, the owner throws an insult towards me while picking up the last of items. I wanted a clean escape. Needless to say, the remaining business will go back to Nordstroms.
