But let's be honest each transaction is different based upon who sorting the clothing, but I digress. *** Plato's Closet buys gently used trendy/name brand clothing for a fraction of the price and resells it to their customers. *** On this particular day I brought in a bin of spring/summer clothes and a box of shoes. Most of my clothes were from Express, shoes from Aldo and Nike, and two gently used Kate Spade bags. The ladies at the front counter were extremely helpful. It took about 30 minutes for them to sort through my clothing and price it. I was very happy with my experience at this location . I received $238 for my clothing and traded in a few of those dollars for a new outfit.

04/13/2019 I was…read morehappy when I found this place. My son told me about his prom at the last minute. I came in a week before his prom. It seemed like everyone in the store was in the same boat - parents buying suits or tuxedos for a prom that was in a week or less. Every parent before me was was told to pick their suits up on Wednesday. I was told that I could pick up my son's tuxedo on Friday at 7 pm. This is less than 24 hours before the prom. I explained this and was told that it was prom season. I came in at 7 pm and my son's tuxedo isn't even finished. I asked if they dry cleaned and was informed by the seamstress that they don't steam or dry clean anything. I am beyond upset. Then the manager had the audacity to call the seamstress over and tell her that it's not her job to answer questions, to direct customers to him. When I found this place, I thought I would be a customer for life. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, unless you're shopping a year out.
