Ive tried several times to give this place a chance. Luckily the managers Jay & I think Ben were great help seeing how panicked we were. However, The back end team is what needs work. They messed up our simple order several times. Imagine to our surprise the groomsmen find the ties were messed up after we just had to pick up the suits the day before the wedding. The problem being prior were that the suits were not the right colors. Truly can't even begin to tell you how frustrating this is. I had a frustrating experience at the Men's Wearhouse in Framingham. I purchased a suit set on 5/30/25 for $538.93, but the very next day I found a similar one elsewhere for a third of the price. I went back to return it, only to be told by the store manager, Brian Cherrier, that he couldn't accept the return because the tags were removed--something I wasn't even aware had happened at checkout. He refused to take a closer look and was dismissive when I tried to explain. Customer service wasn't any better and just said it was up to the manager. For a store that advertises a 90-day satisfaction guarantee, this felt misleading and unprofessional. I won't be shopping here again! read more

Horrible experience at Men's Warehouse - went into rent a Tux for a family wedding - staff is sullen and untrained and of course the tux did not fit properly - they were unable to address the fact that the tux jacket was too big (like, way too big). The woman doing the alterations and the service rep could not have cared less. Oh, and the place is a dump. Clearly they have had some water damage but it looks like it was awhile ago and ceiling tiles are stained and falling down. Take your business elsewhere! read more

Very poor customer service. Went here with my two teenage boys ready to buy 2 suits. Took 15 minutes of walking around store before anyone approached. The man that finally approached us, and might I say with annoyance in his voice, was disheveled, just not what I would expect from a person trying to sell formal wear. But the real issue was how rude he was. Every time I asked a question or wanted to see something different he was totally put out. My teenager recognized how horrible the experience was and said let's get out of here. Additionally, the store was a mess. Mannequins lying on the ground, piles of clothes where they don't belong. Could Not Tell Me the Balance of my Gift Card: I called the Leominster , MA store to inquire about the balance of my gift card. Person who answered the phone was not helpful. He appeared to me to not want to engage. He told me he could not give me the balance, that the register does not have the capability to read the cards. I said I have the numbers under the scan field for him to enter into the system, yet it was not a help. He said I would have to come into the store for this. I called this store to get the balance because there is no feature on the main website for such a transaction. The IT system needs to be upgraded. Just bought yet another suit here today. I have been buying my formal wear here since I was 16 and I'm 33. Today I had a specific thing that I was looking for and I got it. Brian was very helpful with getting me what I was looking for. He even gave me the option to buy the shirt, tie and belt at a later date because he didn't want to overwhelm me with upselling. I wanted to get the shirt, tie belt and shoes today so I went ahead with everything. He then went above and beyond helping me select different shirts and ties which would be best for different meetings and events. They're prices are reasonable compared to big brand stores and they have high quality stuff. I've never had a bad experience here in 17 years. I'll be back for my next suit. read more

Terrible customer service from beginning to end at the Framingham Location. We waited 2 1/2 hours to be fitted for my son's junior prom tux. We waited 45 minutes to pick it up (it was already paid for)-a very rude woman, who attempted unsuccessfully to help the 5 people in front of us first, told my husband that if we 'really wanted the tux" we could dig through the line of tux's waiting for pick up and get it ourselves. We waited another 20 minutes to return the tux, with a man who was rude, and sighed the entire time. The store has a sign up that asks customer to be "kind and patient" while waiting as they are under staffed. All businesses are currently under staffed-however, if men's wearhouse would like the customers to be kind, the staff should also follow that motto. We've worked with the Berlin location over the years, for wedding tux rentals, to buy three full suits for my Mother in law's funeral and always had expert service. I've recommended this business to folks, and would have continued to take my business there had it not been for this horrible experience. We'll rent our senior prom tux, wedding party tuxs down the road and all other milestone events with another vendor. Went with my son 2 weeks ago to rent his suit for prom at the Framingham location.Everything went smoothly until 3 days before the prom. We went to pick up the suit and the jacket was long and had to be fitted which they told us to go the following day. I called the store to ask if it was ready for pick up and I was put on hold for 20 minutes. Another guy answered the phone and asked me if I was being helped which I told him I'm waiting to see if my sons jacket was ready for pick up. Without taking my sons information he told me unfortunately the jacket won't be ready until Monday lol. At that moment I asked to speak with manager and the guy hung up the phone on me. I called back and a girl answered which I explained what had just happened. She said that I was wrong that none of the employees can hang the phone on customer there. My son was near me and he heard when the guy hung up the phone. I told her I just need to know about the jacket. She went to look and told me it wouldn't be ready by Friday 4pm which it was my son's graduation and I needed Thursday so I don't have to run back and forth. At that moment I was so upset that I told her I'm on my way to the store. It took me 25 minutes to get there and for my surprise the jacket was ready. I will never go there to rent suits and to make worse the pants were poorly done. $200 dollars for all this headache. read more

Reservation doesn't mean any specific time. You still need to fill out as you come in. Have to wait almost 2 hours at least during busy time. Only 2 staff helping bunch of people. Awful time mgmt.... Seems like they don't care how long customers wait. However though....those 2 staff are very friendly and very professional. They were so nice. This weekend I came into this Men's Wearhouse by myself to look for some suit for my upcoming wedding and I have to say that I greatly disliked my experience. When I walked into the store I wandered for about 10 minutes looking for an employee who would be able to help me. Everyone was busy, which was fine because it was a busy day, but once it was my turn to be assisted, I was great with a less than lukewarm response. The manager came over and halfheartedly asked me if I needed assistance. When I said yes, he looked at me as though I had caused him some great distress. He asked me a few questions about the wedding and the look I was going for, and when I told him what I wanted, he proceeded to ask me what I do for a living. This was obviously an attempt to figure out how much I was going to spend. This alone frustrated the hell out of me. As he had me try on different sizes in the store he often assessed my look with a "hmm" and a "huh", then eventually told me that I needed to get a custom suit because I had a "strange" body shape. He then tried to get me into a $800 custom suit. In the end we discussed what the options could be, but he failed to show certain items that were similar to what I was looking for. He eventually tried to sell me their "on sale" suit that wasn't even the shade I was looking for. In the end he left me looking at some items while he tried to assess what he was going to have for lunch with another employee. This was extremely frustrating and I know for a fact that I will never shop at this store again. I know that I can spend my well earned money at another more local shop with better customer service. read more

I just had a terrific experience with Jillian at this location. I stopped in for a sport coat, shirt, and tie for a friend's upcoming wedding. Jillian was super funny and really easy to talk to. She listened and picked up on my style quickly. It was like we knew each other forever--all around fantastic sales person with really good style herself. As a whole, I would say that the selection was very good, and the prices were reasonable, but the service/tailoring left a lot to be desired. I was here for my friend's wedding. Keep in mind, the wedding party spend enough money to get $200 in discounts. I was there to get a suit and a dress shirt. The suit was just under $500 (but on sale for around $279) and the shirt was $99 but part of a 3 for $100 deal. The woman took my measurements (I've been around the bend enough to reasonably know my own measurements) and I tried on a few suits and the shirt my friend picked out. In general, the sleeves were too long, and in the case of the shirt, the collar was too small. Where I was frustrated was that the suit was tailored to my specific measurements, but the shirt was not. They grabbed a shirt off the rack somewhere KNOWING my measurements and KNOWING that the sleeves would be too long and the collar would be too small. I was under the impression that since they took my measurements that they were giving me a shirt that fit those measurements. Considering that our purchase was in the $350 range (after the $200+ discounts) you'd think it would be reasonable for them to say "hey, for $15-$25 we can tailor the shirt to fit you" Needless to say, a few weeks later (because I live in NH and this MW is the closest to my friend) I went to pick up the suit and shirt and found that the shirt was off the rack and the sleeves were too long and neck was too small. I had collar extenders, so that wasn't the biggest deal, but the shirt was close to unwearable in its present condition. The guy working that day did not care. He just said "we don't ever have anything in your sleeve length". Great, my point was that the wedding was in a couple of weeks and it took them a couple of weeks to get me the suit/shirt and now it would take another couple of weeks to tailor the shirt. Forgetting about whose fault it is, they should at least be able to understand why I was upset about spending the money and having a shirt that didn't fit. That's not to mention that they botched shipping a pair of pants, a button off a Vera Wang Tux came off, the top button on my suit came close to coming off etc etc. It had been 5-6 years since I last went to a Men's Warehouse and it will probably be another 5-6 before I think about coming back. read more

My experience with the sales and rental staff went really well on all occasions. 5 stars for them. My issue is with the tailor/tailors. I bought two custom fit Kenneth Cole suits. All my measurements were taken and the suits were ready for pick up within a few days. Nice and quick but the tailor work on the buttons and hems was well below par. When spending $800 on suits you expect the best. The suit quality was amazing but the tailor work was bad. After wearing each of the suits twice, the hems on both of the legs of the pants came un-done (both pairs of pants). Buttons on both jackets became loose and undone. I phoned the store and they said they would fix it for free but I didn't trust the work of their tailor to give them another chance. I went to a private tailor. Overall the suits are amazing and their rentals are fair priced. (You're going to pay a lot for a wedding than you will for prom. Just an FYI) Their tailors need to step it up a bit. read more

The weekend of my wedding, my fiancé and I went to pick up his suit, only to find that they hadn't ordered the shoes we wanted for our ENTIRE wedding party. So we had all the suits, but no shoes!! Went here today with my uncle to get some things for my parents vow renewal ceremony. I'm pretty glad that I did. I'm not a very easy clothing customer, i have a fairly particular taste that I can't really describe to most people, considering its kind of an "I like what I like and I don't like what I don't like" type of thing. I'm also extremely tall and un-proportionate so I'm hard to fit for size. The sales people were very good, fit me well as far as finding the sizes that work for me. They worked with my style taste also after rejecting a couple of their reccomendations and we found some things that went together much better for me. ALSO they had a deal for "Buy one get one free on EVERYTHING (except shoes which were buy one get one 50% off)" WOW. I got double what I came for. 2 pants, 2 belts, 2 sets of socks, 2 shirts, 2 ties and 2 pairs of shoes. Spent like 350 but also saved like 275. Amazing! read more

I had a fairly decent first experience at this location. But then I made it clear that I was going to be dropping some large cheddar based on a new work need for suits, shirts, ties.. the whole enchilada. But it's clear that once you've bought the items, they don't care to spend as much energy or goodwill on follow up service. I needed to take in two suits, both jackets and pants, after some serious weight loss. I counted on the ads I kept seeing for Men's Warehouse saying that tailoring was covered for the life of the suit. Wrong. The store explained to me that the policy covers "each seam, once" for the life of the suit. Since I'd had some tailoring done when I first bought the suits, I had to pay for every alteration this time around. What made the experience worse was that the guy at the store, undoubtedly the same guy mentioned in more than one review here, kept arguing with me that it wasn't deceptive marketing. He said it was "ambiguous" at best and the ads could be "interpreted different ways by different people." I'm sorry, but if the founder goes on TV and says that alterations are covered for the life of the suit, shouldn't it cover any and all alterations? Chalk this one up to my naivete, but I will no longer shop here. read more

I said I don't like it as it had flowery patterns. He said "Fine! I am not offended" with sarcasm. - I thought he was just old and weird. Kept browsing around. - When I paid at the cashier, he asked his colleagues to go away and wanted to take care of me. The shirt was 49.99, and I used a $50 giftcard. He then threw, literally, threw a penny on the counter and said "Better than nothing." He gave me a bad look and repeated "Better than nothing" a few times. At first I thought he was just old and repetitive, and later on I figured he was actually referring to the fact that I bought a shirt only. He gave me an awful look and walked away. A very pleasant experience. A brief preface... Clothing shopping is generally never a good experience for me personally. I do not like it, am not good at it, quite often never find my size, and wish the whole experience could be much faster in general. When I entered M.W in Framingham, I was greeted quickly by the assistant manager Florame. She was very polite, knowledgeable, and was very fluent with the product and the various occasions that a suit would be needed for. I had done some research online prior so I did have a few styles I was already looking for. They didn't have 1/3 in stock, but she found 2 others that were comparable. She also made some recommendations to take best advantage of the BOGO that store was offering. She had tried to upsell me on shoes/shirts which was expected but when I explained I was a bit over budget with the two suits and that I may consider the shirts for future purposes, she quickly agreed with me and didn't push any further. So I have shopped this location with good results. I get the commission sales pitch can be "pushy". I went for several things ( not a suit), and I was summarily ignored. Now, I like to left to shop so at first it was nice, but after selecting four shirts and two ties I head to the register, after standing there unnoticed a "manager" (or just pushy sales staff) comes up and barks at a younger employee to "punch in"; she meant to enter her sale and walked away, while watching him entering on the computer, I left the items and walked out - unnoticed. Let me start the wedding reviews: Men's Wearhouse was great in general, I'm going to be doing 3 reviews since I dealt with three different stores. Natick, the kid who helped my now wife, and myself out was great. We did have to wait when we 1st went into the store but that's okay it gave us some time to flip through the catalog. I did do some research online however seeing the tux's in person was more useful. However I could not try them on at the Natick store. I'm not sure why, I guess they just didn't have any floor samples for when you're picking out your tux at this location. For that reason I would suggest finding another place to start for example the other 2 store's I'm reviewing. When we did get waited on the young man, kid really, was very polite and patent even double checked our swatches to make sure the colors of the bridesmaids and groomsmen would match, despite being the same color name and from MW's sister store David's Bridal. He also explained the differences between the tuxes and worked with me to build what I wanted for my wedding. Most grooms wear black, dangit I'm not 'most grooms' as you'll find out as I continue these reviews throughout the coming weeks.
