Decent enough but lacking attention to details in common customer care, I came in for a quick pant sizing for a wedding later this year. The groom informed me he was using Men's Warehouse and had already setup his order with one in Illinois where he lives. I quickly realized this was not made easy when asked by the staff for the order number and then, not having that, the groom's number to lookup his account. There was nothing. I then made casual conversation until they seemed satisfied I wasn't out to steal anything or waste time. Just for a pant sizing, two minutes later I was wearing the very pants required for the wedding, and that was that. I can't comment on value but would guess a lack of it once the groom informed me he had been told by his MW that an order number was not required for me to size. I say this is a basic oversight and lack of professionalism. Weddings are already messy and stressful enough without an Asian product sourced retailer miscommunicating what ushers and such should need for a fast size check. I was thankful to see staff present and eager to assist here. This is a great location with plenty of parking in Lafayette's newest commerce strip. But I'd sure like to see less Chinese made products at European prices. read more

We were in the Lafayette store yesterday and were very pleased with our service. Sam gave us all the attention we needed but also gave us "space" and didn't hover. He did the footwork for us and we didn't have to look through racks of items unless we wanted to do so. He knew we were on a budget as father-of-the-groom and he did all he could to accommodate us. We got a jacket for $200 off and walked out with a jacket, slacks, shirt, and tie. He even arranged to have the pants hemmed for a small fee and they were to be ready the next day with no charge for steaming and pressing all items. I paid $30 at David's Bridal to have my dress steamed and $90 for a hem and I can't get my dress until 4/11!! I call next day service top notch. We drove one hour to get to this store and were not disappointed. We were unsure how this experience at MW would be but we were very satisfied and will return for future men's clothing needs. My son's wedding party will be using Men's Warehouse and we wanted to be sure we would be in line with his dad's attire. They willingly looked up the groom's info. The store is extremely dirty. There are pins and salt from the winter all over the floors. We had a 15+ minute wait every single time we were there with terrible service. We were given no explanation on fit or prices while picking out our party's rental tuxes. Then when checking out, we were told the price would all be the same, yet all other tuxes for our party were $40 more. Wouldn't be a big deal if they weren't already over $250. Once our wedding party's rentals arrived, all of the shirts were baggy, especially the groom's. We expressed that we would like to try another size shirt and were told "that's just how the ivory shirts fit" and "sorry, that's what the groom picked".... This was said to the groom. we ended up paying even more to buy another shirt for him that actually fit On top of the already ridiculous price! At least for the groom, maybe offer to get another shirt in. We also had our 1 year old in and were told to come 2 weeks before the wedding to have him fitted. I get there, and they do not even carry tuxes for babies..... but I was told we could have the length on the baggy pants hemmed and he just wouldn't be able to have a jacket. The rental fee for him also being over $200. Needless to say, I would never recommend this store and I bought my baby a tux from Amazon instead. Go to the mall! read more

Some of the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. I was waiting there for 15 minutes until somebody finally took my name then waited another 10. I haven't been fitted for anything since prom so I had a couple of questions to which I just got cold shoulder responses repeatedly employee fitting me so I was surprised by the $225 bill that I wasn't expecting that I had to pay then or I wasn't gonna be able to rent my tux for my friend's wedding.. very bad experience and I recommend using a different location or entirely different service. read more

Terrible customer service. I went in to purchase a blazer and the employees didn't even bother to say hello and acknowledge that a customer was in the building. They we're too busy paying all their attention to this weeding group who were renting tux's. My point is they lost $200 plus dollars simply because they didn't come over to ask if I needed any help. Mens Wearhouse: if you're big you're going to look rediculous and Joseph Abboud has no clue how to measure. I tried to buy a shirt, vest, pants and tie. The only thing that was the right size was the tie. I had to special order everything else because though they had my normal sizes in stock, they all fit like they were two sizes too small. Ordered two sizes larger and the new items came in SMALLER than the originals! Megan insisted the original must have been wrong and the new stuff was "correct". If that's the case then Joseph Abboud plus size garments are smaller than every other brands I've ever worn large size. TLDR: if you're big do NOT go here!!! read more

We received superior service this evening. We needed an outfit on the spot for a semi-formal event. They dressed my son from head to toe and really went above and beyond for us. We are eternally grateful for the kindness and great customer service. We will return in the future but we will not wait until the last minute. read more

The three men working tonight made looking for my fiancé's tux were absolutely amazing. So sociable and very friendly. We're from Florida but we may just come back here to put in the order to see these men again. And they knew we weren't looking to buy anything right this second and helped us with picking out everything for his outfit for our wedding day except socks. And they went above and beyond. If I could give it less stars, I would! The very 1st time and very last time I will ever enter this store. I took my son shopping to find a spring jacket - not knowing that Men's Wearhouse did not sell such an item, however, when I Googled it, this place came up (not a biggie). Upon entering the store, 2 employees were standing, watching a game on the flat screen on the wall. We meandered around a bit and noticed there were 2 more employees leaning on a glass counter - one of them appeared to be the Manager. Older gentleman. I noticed it was just us 2 customers and a store seemingly overstaffed for a Sunday (March 29th to be exact). After a couple minutes, a young man asked if we needed help and I told him we were looking for a spring jacket. The young man said "Oh, I don't know if we have.. let me go ask" and heads over the older gentleman leaning on the counter. They converse for a bit and then I hear the older man say, "Go ahead and take a 20-25 minute break now" and the young man heads off! I am literally standing there with my mouth open, when a young lady walks up and asks if SHE can help. I said, pointing to the young man walking off, "that's what HE was supposed to be doing". At that point, the older man, obviously overhearing me, spoke up and said "Yeah, I just don't have anything like that" - still LEANING on the counter. We felt very unwelcome there and were disrupting a sports event, apparently. Disgusting! I honestly have not experienced this level of disinterest in customer service... well, ever!
