Picked up a suit at Men's Wearhouse for a wedding. Aaron Helped me get measured and fitted -- quick, efficient, and affordable.

I love using Men's Wearhouse for purchasing suits and shirts! So a back story; about 10 years ago I purchased 2 suits ranging in various colors and styles. Then about 2 years later I purchased 3 more suits. During those visits the sales staff as well as the seamstress were all fantastic!!! The seamstress was especially helpful and did an amazing job back then with the "Tailored Fit". In 2020 I had open heart surgery and during the recovery and where I'm at today in 2025 I lost 25 pounds. As you can imagine those 5 suits DON'T fit anymore!!! I needed a suit for an event so I called Men's Warehouse about getting one of the altered again. They said no problem and it was part of the lifetime alterations since I purchased the suits from them and they did the alterations. I did have to pay for some special alterations on this suit but no big deal! When I picked up my suit today and tried it on it fit perfectly and I think it fits better now than it did the first time. She did the slim cut alteration on it and I love it. So today again; the staff were very friendly even though they were super busy! The same seamstress that did the alterations 10 years did the alterations again and was just as friendly and helpful! Added note; I looked through the marked down section and saw a dress shirt that fit me perfectly! Normal price was $79 and it was marked down to $14.99. Oh yes love the shirt and price! Thank you Men's Warehouse for providing a great service for us guys!!!! * I definitely recommend Men's Warehouse! Word of advice; was the sales added and sign up for emails and promotions. My husband went and had a men's warehouse employee measure him for a tux. The employee measured him and told him they would order the tux based on his measurements. Fast forward one week before our daughter's wedding they call and say the tux is in. We went to pick it up today and my husband tried it on. Thank goodness he did before he left the store!!! The pants were almost 3 inches too short! The jacket was huge!!! NOTHING they measured him for fit!! What is the point of going for a measure when the employees can't do it correctly? We told them the issues and they said they could fix the issues. They went to the back and brought up a slim fit jacket, which fit him perfectly. They had the seamstress lengthen the pants. They brought them back for him to try on. This time one pant leg was shorter than the other pant leg! Sent them back again and waited....and waited...my husband had to go ask how much longer it would be. The employee went to the back and got the pants, but only after we asked. We were there one hour and 20 minutes!!! RIDICULOUS!!!! I called my daughter and told her she better have her 'fiancé go try his on today. They went and his jacket sleeves were about 4 inches too short!! I'm very concerned about the groomsman's fitting now!!! Will never use this store again! read more

Had a great experience there, I walked in and only knew what type of suit I wanted for a summer wedding. Associate was really helpful and very knowledgeable about everything. I was in and out with not one but two suits. no bs or overthinking what else I needed. Very happy with the store and associates inside. read more

We walked in and there were about 5 other people in the store. Two associates talking with each other by the register. We asked for help. The female associate said," we'll be with you in a minute " and continued to talk with the other worker. We said ok and started browsing. About 20 more people came in after us. No one was helped. They continued to ignore everyone. We were never even looked at again. We left. Never going back. Terrible service. read more

Bought a sports coat. Upon returning to my car, I went online and saw the exact coat was $80 cheaper. Proceeded to go back inside to ask for a price match or any solution and of course, they played dumb. Did not give any solution to the issue at hand. Customer service is lacking. Owner should re evaluate employees hired. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. read more

Went in to buy a suit for a funeral. Took a little while before anyone came over and helped. When he did, our salesman seemed really helpful. We made our selection and checked out and left. It was only later when looking at the receipt and the tags on the clothes that we noticed the prices did NOT match. They weren't even close. We were charged $25 more for the pants than the tab states and an extra $20 for the suit jacket. We called to see what happened and were told that the receipt prices are the new prices and correct. I definitely don't appreciate the bait and switch pricing and if I did not need the suit it would be returned. As it is, this is going to be the last time I shop here. read more

My little brother had prom coming up and needed to rent a Tux. My wife took him here on a Tuesday, got fitted and was told the Tux would be available on either Friday, or Saturday. Got a call on Friday stating the Tux is available for pickup. Took my brother here on Saturday morning and luckily we got here a little earlier, because it got BUSY. He received assistance with trying on the fitted Tux and the associate answered all the questions we had. Total time in all was about 30 or so minutes. The con is the Tux had to be returned the next day, but luckily they are open on Sundays until 6. read more

Worst customer service here. I don't recommend this place. Other than the. Ice young man helping us pick out a suit for my fiancée for our wedding, the store manager is a piece of work. She should really work on her customer service communication. Maybe I could show her a thing or two because I to work in the customer service field in the law department. My fiancée and I had some stuff laid across one of their big tables as we were trying to find a tie to match the suit he was looking at and this lady, apparently the store manager comes over to where we were at and starts moving our stuff around and very rudely asks if this was ours as she was helping another customer but yet there's a whole another side of the store with tables that were not being used. I told my fiancée let's go. I didn't want to dealt with that. Not only that, that place is expensive anyways!! Like $270 or so for just a suit jacket. CRAZY!! We are shopping around elsewhere. That lady doesn't deserve our business. read more

Hubby needed a new suit and we stopped in here to browse what they had available. Let me start off by saying the one star is ONLY for the salesperson, not for their selection (although I'll get to that in a minute). I will admit we stopped in with only 30 minutes left until closing, but as we were just "looking" I don't think that should have been a problem. Jason, our salesperson, immediately pounced on my husband with 100 questions. He showed him two suits and basically said okay, let's wrap this up. He looked at his watch several times during our time there as if we were quite a burden to have to deal with. I wasn't satisfied with the jacket he had my husband try on and vocalized my concerns. He was somewhat rude and asked me how often my husband was going to be lifting his arms in a suit (he couldn't in this one without it coming way above his middle section). I said he will need to move in it and it looked like it was a straight jacket. I have to give kudos to another salesperson there. I don't know if he was the manager or not, but he came over and explained to us exactly how a suit jacket should fit and look. He was somewhat shocked that Jason had put my husband in suspenders and had his pants jacked up to his belly button. He even asked who had suggested that and said that's not how they go. He was very helpful, but as he had not started helping us from the beginning, he allowed Jason to continue to work with us. Now on to the selection. Jason told my husband that "at his size" they only had three suits to choose from?!? Navy, Charcoal, and Black. I find that very hard to believe. Hubby is not odd shaped. He does carry a belly, but I've seen plenty men of his size wear gray suits, brown suits, etc. I think that due to the hour of the day he wanted to limit his choices. After he tried on the pants and jacket, he said he wanted to go home and check out his other pants for size and look further, Jason responded, "Great, just great." He then walked off in a huff. I'm sorry that he is having a bad day, or wanted to leave early. This is NOT how you treat a customer, especially when you're talking about spending hundreds of dollars on a purchase. Arrived evening on a Thursday, for a shirt. Michael helped us, he was great answered all of my questions and pointed out that the shirts we were looking at were but 3 for $99.00. Which was perfect we needed one for a wedding and one for Halloween anyway. Michael was patient with me as it took me A bit to decide on the third shirt. read more

Extremely disappointed. We went to this location on 05/05. We came into the store looking to try on some suits/tuxs to see what color and style looked good on my fiancé and to see what their pricing was to rent a tux/suit. We enter the store was greeted by a woman who was very nice and we explained that we were wanting to try on some styles and get pricing on rental. The woman needed to pass us over to a different worker due to needing to leave to get her son. The woman we got was named Lisa; she was rushing and very rude. Lisa kept saying that we were in here early to try on things with our wedding being in May of 2024. Talking about needing to be resized over and over again. Well obviously lady. But we had explained to the person prior that we were just wanting to see what styles/colors my fiancé looked good in and to see their pricing for rentals. We needed to know this so we can pick out our colors and for the groomsmans sake. I was very confused on half the things she was doing since we were just looking to see the styles. At the end, she said something about a receipt. Me and my fiancé were confused and asked what this receipt was. She then asked for a payment in which we responded with that we just came to view styles and colors... she then yelled that we weren't "ready to commit". We were like wait what... it wasn't our fault for the failed communication she received. We never said we were interested in purchasing. She refused to listen to us. But we are most definitely NOT going to this location again. Very angry for the way we were spoken to. She would have been just as pissed off if someone spoke to her the way she spoke to us. We enjoy doing things for our wedding because it is such a special moment. Lisa did everything she could to ruin our moment today. This business location deserves 0 stars for her behavior. read more

I should have read the reviews before taking my husband for a suit. The salesman was really nice and helpful. He was the only shining star. He ordered us a suit and said it would be there Tue. or Wed. When we didn't get a call, my husband decided to call them on Thu. They told him the suit had been incorrectly delivered to Charlotte, NC, and they would get it overnighted. Called back Friday evening and they still didn't have the suit. Not only that, but the girl called back and said they didn't even have our phone number in the system. We are now a week behind and only have three weeks to find a suit and get it altered. Not making that mistake again. We will not set foot in another Men's Wearhouse! read more

I had to come in here to get my son a tux for Prom. It was 30 minutes until closing time and apparently everyone was procastinating just like me because the place had like 8 more customers come in behind me for Prom. The entire staff was super friendly to everyone and it didn't seem like they were fustrated or trying to rush us even though we were there past closing time. They have tons of options in different price ranges. I was able to get my son the entire outfit Tux, Vest, Shirt, Pants, shoes, Cuff Links , Tie for $115.00 after taxes too ( putting down only $20 upfront is an option too ) . Hopefully when we pick it up 2 days before prom I can keep the 5 star rating on here! read more

I stopped in to buy a suit or two, but from the moment I walked in the door the salesman Jason strong armed me. He completely ignored my input and tried to steal me in one direction - his. He argued with my wife on fit and other issues. I ended up walking out and will not be back. read more

After reading the reviews on here I was very hesitant on coming here. But I'm extremely glad I did. I feel bad about the other reviews had such bad service because mine was extremely awesome. If you want someone who knows their stuff, talk to James. He helped me out when I came in by myself and knew I wasn't going to buy anything and then was just as awesome when I came back with family. He was extremely knowledgable and very quick when we needed something bigger or different. I was buying my first suit for a wedding and I'm glad I came here. Best part was was the buy one suit get something for 100 bucks. Now I have a nice suit and a great sports coat. And with the rewards program I've already earned 100 dollars towards my next visit. read more

Came to by 3 suits rent 1 tux for my sons prom and she was more concerned with my mask then helping us get fitted for our purchase. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

It was a bleak stormy Sunday in Southern Maryland, where the start of this story took place. I was sitting there minding my own business when my beautiful flawless significant other asked me what I would be wearing to her brothers wedding. I was like, no worries hun I have suits, everything will be alright. However I bought those suit's prior to a hefty 1 year swiss roll bender, all of which I washed down with beer. Needless to say I may or may not have put on a healthy amount of weight, so it goes without saying they don't look appealing. Fast forward a week now and next thing I new I was in a mystical air travel device landing in Sunny Jacksonville FL. As the typical man I am, I thought I knew what I was doing. That was where I realized I was in over my head. So I do what any man would do, I panicked and proceeded to the nearest place that sold suits. I walk in the door and like a hero in the night, Jason Gill flies in like a bald Bruce Wayne and instantly I knew I was in good hands. I had allotted myself 45 minutes for this process, well I suck at time management and the process took 2 hours. However I was having a good time because of a great sales man, we talked about the intricacies of life and suits. What more can you ask for. I left this store with knowledge about dressing my self properly that I wasn't even looking for when I walked in. I also learned that my left arm is longer than my right arm, but the kind staff politely put me at ease saying that, that is a standard thing. As for what the other people on here are saying about Jason, I can see there point just because he is so high energy and some people don't know how to handle that. However what I picked up from him is, he knows what he is doing and he knows what will look good on you. The amount of pride he took in his job was honestly astounding, and I appreciate everything he did to help me make the best choice for my needs. read more

I had purchased my Navy CPO uniform from the base, and they only hemmed the trousers (wrong) and cuffed the sleeves (also wrong) Even though the MensWearhouse normally only do alterations to the apparel they sell, they undertook making my blues look like a proper fitting uniform for a fair cost. It was a terrible experience I would recommend going elsewhere anywhere but there I have a $400.00 suit that does not fit or look good with one sleeve longer than the other. It is so bad that I have never and will never wear it. By the way if u buy a suit and they try to make it fit you. You can not return it. It was a $400.00 mistake. WOW, make sure whoever measures you for a tux fit here seems to know EXACTLY what they're doing when they measure (and that they actually take ALL measurement and don't just fill some in on their own). My son picked up his prom tux and the sleeves were a good INCH shorter than they should be, and the MW guy blew him off when my son mentioned how awkward it looked. The coat was USELESS to him and fortunately we found that his dad's tux jacket could stand in for the rental. All other pieces were fine, but the coat's pretty major, so we'd recommend you go somewhere else for a good tux fit. read more

I love this place. I have bought a suit, a tuxedo, and a variety of other miscellaneous clothing here and have had all positive experiences. Great selection, prices can be a little high but if you watch the website you will see that they have sales almost all of the time so I just look out for when they're having sales on things I need and shop then. I will say that my observation of how suits and formal wear should fit is subjective, so sometimes their sales people will think one thing and other people will disagree, but if you buy a suit there, then have the fitting done there, then the fitting is good for life, meaning you can take it back to them as many times as you want and they will re-fit it for free (once you've paid for the initial fitting), so I think it is a pretty good deal. read more

Awful customer service! Stopped in with my fiancé to organize tux rental for him & the wedding party. The girl who waited on us had NO clue what was going on. She picked out a suit, we all agreed and then she said, oops that on isn't for rent. She didn't even know how rental worked, color options, pricing etc. They was also no chairs to sit, I had to awkwardly stand next to her desk the whole time she fumbled through the computer, never even offered a seat. Then they hit us with an astronomical rental price. Now I know why so many people are using online rental companies. I will go that way. read more

I came in to get sized prior to an interview. I had the undivided attention of the salesperson, who was knowledgeable and talked me through a process that I did not have much experience in. I left feeling more than satisfied with the interaction and the employees did everything they could to cut costs, saving me almost half of the initial cost.
