Not gunna lie, this place impressed me and I was super skeptical at first. The vibes are really awkward, weird and liminal which is eh. The staff kind of all just huddles together and hangs out, not really jumping at the bit to help. Overall, not the most professional or warm establishment, but it's also a Men's Warehouse, so I checked my expectations. The thing is, I have to say, they did put my boyfriend in the most well-fitted incredible suit and that's what we were there for. He's a weird size, he's very tall and very thin and suits always fit him kind of huge, boxy and wonky or don't fit him at all in the shoulders. He was dreading this fitting. But there was a guy with braces who helped him out and when my boyfriend came out of that dressing room he had a whole different attitude. The kid who helped him was even impressed by his own work and showed his coworkers how dapper my boyfriend looked. We even kind of sucked and brought the suit back late, but because there was a mix up about our dates, they just waived the late fee. If we have an event like this again - we'll be back. read more

This is the best Men's Wearhouse I have ever been to, and it still only gets 2 stars. Obviously the bar is not set very high. This store needs a facelift. The carpet is pulling up, causing dangerous tripping hazards as you navigate the store looking for someone who knows what they are doing. Each time I have been measured for a rental, I had an issue when picking up. Mismatched sleeves, wrong size jacket, holes in seams, etc., are all inappropriate issues when that is the entirety of their job. When trying on my latest rental, I found issues that needed to be resolved. I had to come back 3 times to finally get the rental, and even then I don't think the sleeves were the proper length. The only reason this chain is still in business is because there is little to no competition. Buy your suits somewhere else. Rent from a mom and pop shop. Go anywhere but here. The amount of time, energy, and money spent to get my rental was not worth it. If you're all about wasting money and time for an inferior product, then Men's Wearhouse is for you. I used to come here to shop a lot. Since last year, their good service had degraded to poor and this past weekend it became almost bad. This past weekend I brought two pants that I bought online to return, this gentlemen was lecturing me over and over 4-5 times with anger about I bought the wrong item and I should have known the difference. Regardlessly how the wording go, he was very upset telling me these things. I think all I need is to hear it one time and with a calm voice. Was it that much of a big deal when you ordered the wrong thing online? Relax and ease with your lectures. This guy needs a drink! Do they come to work with anger? Clean store. Well laid out with fitting rooms and tux rentals in the back. My boyfriend was recently in a wedding and rented a tux from here. The process was okay. Deposit. Fittings/measurements. Pay the remainder. Leave. The staff is friendly. The sizing was off for every guy in the wedding party. Even the groom couldn't find a shirt that fit, and this was after a bunch of measurements were taken a month prior. The tuxes all needed to be steamed before leaving the store but they did that for free. Shoes and socks were also thrown into the rental but thankfully they don't ask for the socks back (that would be gross if they did). Returning was the easy part. There's a rack up front. Drop off everything and be on your merry way. Can we talk about how many additional measurements men go through? I thought bridesmaids go through a lot but damn. read more

Came here with a group of guys for a wedding. We originally went to the location at Mineola​. We walked in there and no one greeted us, we were just walking around clueless. We left and that same day went to this location (Plainview​). We walked in and right away, a gentleman​ named fez (or Phez, sorry if misspelled​), greeted us with a smile and helped us out immediately. He had a great attitude. We went to the back and another gentlemen, named Mike Mouton, was very helpful. He was patient with us and took us through all the different fittings and styles. He explained everything thoroughly​ and was not pushy at all. The attitude these employees have is great. Not pushy and are genuine in helping you find the best suit for your wedding. We all left very happily​. Whoever the manager is, he is doing a great job training these folks, and also the workers themselves have a great attitude and are extremely helpful. If you need to restock your closet or get an entire wardrobe for a new season, you might love it here. If you're like me and just need a single shirt, you're screwed. Why? Bc they price things so that BOGO makes sense. $79.99 for a button down is OK if you get two, but if you only want one, you can't pay $40 and be on your way. So my trip for one tuxedo shirt and a tie ended up costing me $139 and I walked out with an extra shirt and tie that I in no way need. That being said, this location happens to be a clean store with a large selection. They have ties, belts, shirts, suits, shoes... everything you need. There was help around, but oddly no one offered to help me in the 30 min I was there. I went in the fitting room solo, wandered around looking for tux shirts for a bit, etc. Weird. Bottom line, you can find everything you need here... just make sure you need two of em :) read more

Terrible experience. Ordered a suit separate two weeks ago from salesman, Scott. Told him it was for my son's wedding in four weeks. He said we had plenty of time. Stressed to him the urgency and we were again assured it would be fine and we had plenty of time. Talked us into spending $750.00. We were told we would be called as soon as pants came in. We called on Sunday and after 10 minutes of being placed on hold was told that pants were cancelled and Scott went back in to try and reorder but they were out of stock. To add insult to injury the woman I was speaking with then said that this is the reason they were calling me. Lol, I called them. Bizarre phone conversation, terrible customer service. RUN AWAY!!! Where to start.. never got told that our suit was ready (no email or call), was measured completely wrong (happen to another groomsmen in that wedding that came here) and had to pickup the suit last minute since they ordered it late. Barely anyone working and horrible customer service (eye rolls and huffing at me). Also, said our order was lost and the next day say it was here to then a minute later say no the truck isn't there yet with our suit.. get your shit together. Maybe actually use you computer system? Top it all off.. forgot to bring in the bow tie back and they said to bring it back whenever we can no charge. Tried bringing it 9/20 (wedding was on 9/18 and we brought the suits back 9/19) and hours say open tell 9pm online. LIES they closed at 7pm apparently after driving over 45 minutes away to find out (got there at 7:10pm). How are we supposed to make it there after work if I'm off at 6pm or later. Was able to get there tonight 9/21 and they said they were going to charge us that day for the bow tie $35?! Wtf.. you said drop it off whenever and said nothing about being charged. Needless to say we are not paying. Go to a different Men's warehouse this location is messy/gross (dusty, used masks everywhere, and piles of dirty suits), has horrible customer service, and your basically going to be lied to.. and spent a good 2 to 3 hours waiting to try on the suit.. read more

I don't know the store managers name, but he is a bald guy and is truly a great human and person to deal with. He is knowledgeable, not a pushy sales men and very helpful. I had a fiasco with my tuxes (you can ask me for the details if you must know) and he went above and beyond what I would have expected anyone to do in order to assure me that my wedding day was going to be great and that my groomsmen and I would be have the Tux I wanted. read more

Not impressed with staff. I tell them I need to rent a tux for next weekend. First thing the guy at the desk, who seems no older than 14 year old, tells me is that I have to pay a late charge. No explanation of how much or any reason why. The selection consisted of the $99 rental and then everything else (total of 4 choices) above $200. I left because I wasn't impressed with the staff or selection. It wasn't the late charge or rental fee but the way the information was presented. Too bad, I had intended to buy several suits also. This place was an overstaffed ghost-town for a Friday afternoon shop. I didn't need everyone of the 5 employees to ask me if I needed help as I was the only person in the store. The majority of them were nice enough, but I got stuck with the one jackass who probably won't last a week. This guy couldn't remember what shoe I asked to see by the time he went to look in the back. Selection was OK, but it seemed like they put a ton of junk out on the display tables to try to get rid of it, instead of just making a clearance section in the back somewhere. I am giving this place one star based on a single manager basically. Maybe that isn't fair but this guy really got under my skin. My Tux did not fit properly the day I came to pick it up a day before my buddy's wedding, running short on time I asked them to fix it then and there because I wouldn't have time to come back. They attempted and failed but I was out of time and had many things to do as I was the best man. But this isn't about that, It is about the manager I asked to speak to upon returning said tux. This exceptionally rude fellow strolls up standing closely to me with his arms crossed trying to intimidate me and asks what my problem is. Proceeded to explain to him that I wasn't looking for a refund but just wanted to give them some constructive criticisms. Well he responded with "well no one else complained, Whats wrong with it?" very brashly. Then told me the bride's mother called and complimented them in fact. I told him the bride's mother wasn't wearing it and that i'm the one with the issue and I wasn't the only one. I offered to try it on and prove it as he confusingly didn't believe me and he told me there was no need and that there is nothing wrong with it. At this point I became very cross and told him he needs to get his s*** together and went to walk out as he goes "You're a real classy guy", sarcastically. Man, I had a few choice words I held back and instead kept it at, your corporate is going to hear this one. Still waiting to hear back from them. I just don't understand how anyone, especially a manager, could come at someone with this much disrespect after they screwed up and all I wanted was "sure sir, we'll look into it so it doesn't happen again". Nothing really wrong with Men's Wearhouse as a whole but as long as this guy is working there I would suggest going to a different location. read more

I went there to get a suit jacket pair pants and two shirts. The gentleman that fitted me for everything took my shirt size & jacket size. He told me they'll have everything done in Three 3-weeks!! I come back the day it was supposed to be ready, they have the wrong dress shirt size. they tell me just pick another shirt . I tried to tell the kid either they sold a dress shirt that what they were holding for me or the guy measured me wrong . he had zero answers or care about what I was saying. The pants did not fit right, the Taylor came out said she never touched the pants to begin with and to give them for more days..I come back today tell the manager this who fitted me who doesn't even remember me.. Honestly if you need a suit and it's going to cost a few hundred dollars the least they could do is measure you correctly. Maybe have items ready when you're supposed to pick it up and not leave you hanging before party but I guess that's too much to ask for from this Men's Wearhouse. read more

This place deserves 0 stars. Awful experience from beginning to end. Avoid this location at all costs. Not only did it take 4 separate trips for them to finally get my tuxedo rental right, they neglected to include the tuxedo pants in the garment bag! I discovered this 3 hours BEFORE MY OWN WEDDING CEREMONY. When I went to the store to demand the pants, they tried to blame it on me! The pants were finally found in a wrinkled mess in the back and given to me barely pressed. Unbelievably bad customer service. Aside from that they are slow and never remember what you're there for. We just rented our Tuxedos from Men's Warehouse for our wedding. To say we were grossly disappointed is an understatement. We had guys get measured out of town and also had some local guys as well. Every Tux had an issue; shirts were too big/ too small/ had stains. Jackets and/or pants too big- too small. Shoes were wrong size. Some guys got home and had no cufflinks or buttons. Every single one had static and lint/ hair all over them. On the day of the wedding I was walking around (even in church) with Static Guard and Lint Rollers to make the suits look crisp. When we complained, the store manager had an attitude and said... "Well, we fixed everything, didn't we?" That's not the point. When you are paying $200.00 plus for a rental that rental should fit and look great! I think Men's Warehouse should stick to what they do best and that is sell new clothes. Tuxedo rentals should be done through those type of rental companies that ONLY deal in Tuxes. We have learned from our experience. We have a November 2018 wedding on the horizon for our daughter, and will not be renting from Men's Warehouse. read more

A nightmare from start to finish. Used them because the groomsmen were all from out of town. Grooms tux "lost" when we went to pick it up (although the day before told me it was there). Had to return the morning before the wedding - when we had many other things to do- only to receive a stained bow tie and a white vest with dirty buttons and armpit stains. Looked like it was worn by 100 previous sweaty grooms. Not one other store on LI had the vest we needed and had to take a larger size (not the same style as the rest of the bridal party) vest off a mannequin and wait two hours while the tailor attempted to alter it. Less than half an hour before the photographer arrived the best man opened his bag to find that the girl who repacked his tux after steaming it , had never put the shirt, cuff links or pocket square back into the bag. (in all fairness, she was very busy ---flirting with another employee most of that night) We called. No one in the store would help. They told us they were too busy to call massapequa for us and just gave us the number. Massapequa was no help. I would never recommend this place. What a nightmare. Ruined the day. Gave us a refund on the tux, however not worth the anguish we had to go through. Please do not use this store. read more

I will never buy a suit from here again. Even though the store was empty I felt completely rushed into a decision. The room was very uncomfortable since the salesmen were just hovering around me the whole time and gave me no room to think for myself. Once I decided on a suit the tailor was dreadful. I could not understand a thing he was saying and he just walked away before taking any measurements for the jacket. I was just waiting by the mirror expecting him to return until the salesmen noticed me waiting and had to bring him back. He just marked the jacket super fast with chalk so I never got a feel for how it would look. Then when they rang me up they charged me for all these bogus 'super' alterations I didn't ask for. When I went to pick it up the next week it looked like they didn't altered the jacket at all, it still felt huge on me, but by this time I had enough of this store and just wanted to get out. read more
