I couldn't be happier! I am a customer who is not easy to fit and I needed just the right suit for my son's upcoming wedding. I tried a couple of places first. In one case, there was a lack of inventory in the color range I needed. In the other, they had a suit jacket that fit but they lost the pants!! I thought about trying the Men's Warehouse in Saugus but I wasn't sure if they serviced hard to fit people. I was WRONG!! First of all, I had the good fortune and pleasure to work with Michael Santiago. I explained my situation and what I needed and Michael took a real interest and spent the time to do what was necessary to meet (and exceed) my needs. You can tell he really knows his business. Once he measured me, he took the time to go through not just his in-store inventory but everything that was available to him throughout his company. He came up with three suits that I really liked. He got them to the store in just a few days. I came back to see them and try them on. He spent all the time necessary to see what they looked like on me, commented on the plusses and minuses of each and helped me select what my son would later tell me was the perfect suit for his wedding. He had his tailor come by and they both discussed with me and each other how they thought they should do the alterations. I will be picking up the suit in a few days in plenty of time for the wedding. I cannot thank Michael enough for his help, time spent and attention to detail. I am a customer for life and I cannot recommend Men's Warehouse and Michael Santiago enough. read more

Sales persons are nice. But should *I* have to iron my sons tux rental??? Took it out of the bag yesterday and there are wrinkles on the jacket, shirt and pant pleats are a MESS. My son picked it up and of course didnt say anything to them. What kid does? Also, I had a "$40 coupon off tux rental" and when I asked why the price was still the same even with a coupon they said 'oh, well we always give $40 off rentals whether you have the coupon or not' . This place gives me the willies. I accompanied my guy here when he needed a new suit for a round of interviews so he wouldn't walk out with bright purple suit just cause it looked cool. An associate immediately sprang on us when we walked in and started helping us. He was chatting to us in a friendly way but as time went on I got a bit of a condescending vibe from him. C'mon, dude, this is Men's Wearhouse in Saugus, Mass, get over yourself. After we picked out a suit he kept driving a hard sell for a bunch of other crap and doing it in the most asinine way possible. Him: "You have a blue blazer, right" Boo: "Um, no, I don't." Him: *horrified look* "What! Every guy needs a blue blazer! You're kidding! What kind of a man are you?" Luckily I was there to turn the monkey's motor off but not before he performed other various circus acts for us such as throwing water on a jacket to illustrate its weather proof-ness. Yawn. There was another guy there who actually rang us up that was a lot nicer and kept it real. I hope he works elsewhere now and exited this sinking ship. read more

There is something wrong with some of those guys that work there. They measured me and STILL gave me a shirt that is too big. Isn't the whole point of going there and getting measured to ensure you're getting a perfect fit? How the hell can you mess this up? Your job is to literally provide proper measures. Unbelievable. I came back to exchange my shirts and they STILL managed to give me one that is too big. Seriously? How the hell does this happen? I even told the guy 'give me a size down' and he went on to tell me 'trust me, this one will fit you'. -- Well, I learned one thing, don't trust anyone from Men's Warehouse at Saugus. They are more concerned about getting you out the door vs giving you the right fit. As others said. The prices here are too expensive. Skip this store. read more

The service we received here was top quality! I went in looking to get a pair of suspenders for my girlfriend for her Halloween costume. All that were left in inventory were some large and very expensive pairs of suspenders when all we needed was some small cheap ones. Alex was very helpful and called around all of the local stores to find a pair for us. He was unable to locate any so he was able to sell us a pair of their rental suspenders for very cheap. His solution was perfect and he went above and beyond to acomodate us. read more

On my initial visit to this store, I would have given the place a firm 4 stars. I entered the store and it was quite busy, but the associates were attentive and prompt. The assistant manager, Jodi, was fantastic -- she is very quick, efficient and a great sales person. I was in need of a suit for an event that I was flying out to the following week. I was able to get my suit the day before I flew out but my pants did not fit. The other assistant manager was rude and unapologetic. Other staff would just ignore you and pretend to be clueless. Make sure your measurements are triple checked before you walk out, both my suits were all wrong and since they messed up you have to pay for all the tailoring all over again. Solid experience at Men's Wearhouse this week. I needed a suit for a wedding on Saturday and I came in on a Thursday. I felt awful about waiting until the last minute but Michael at MW in Saugus took care of me. Found a suit to fit my sensibilities, had their tailor make the necessary adjustments, everything was done next day. I had a little issue with the fit of the pants - taken care of in 15 minutes. I needed some accessories, one of the other employees (can't remember name) extremely pleasant and had 3 styles of shirt and tie waiting. Well oiled sales machine here. Can't tell you how much I appreciate the effort and service. I'm taking a star off because of a certain employee who said something degrading to the female who works there. Not cool buddy. Fantastic experience! I went there to get suits for my wedding and Aaron Dalpe helped us. He was really awesome, friendly, and helpful! One of the best salesman I've experienced at any retailer! Everyone liked him and we talked his ear off about all kinds of things! Just a really great dude. He got us fitted real quick, didn't try to screw us over, didn't try to up sell us, he just cared about getting us good suits that we wanted. We ended up getting mid level suits. The rest of the staff I interacted with was great as well. I picked up my suit well before the wedding, everything was clean and perfect. I will reiterate what the others have said here - the "new" comments are great, the "old" comments are poor. Perhaps Men's Wearhouse made a switch in staff to folks (like the ones I have met) who exemplify quality service and are great examples of a strong brand? My experience, on "Black Friday" of this year, was a 10 out of 10 and has been a 10 out of 10 since then. I have dealt mainly with Alex, Natalie, and Steve. Across the board - excellent customer service, quality advice (not pushy at all), and an attention to detail and follow-up that is far too uncommon in today's retail world. In truth, over the ~30 days prior to Black Friday I was in a number of "retail clothiers" and bought $0. Mainly due to two reasons - (1) couldn't find a human being, and/or (2) I like to "dress down" just a bit when I go shopping and see if people are still responsive. Ultimately, Men's Wearhouse (Alex, Natalie, and Steve) made a very nice sale and more importantly (to me at least) - impressed me to no end with the quality of their service from the first moment I walked in their store. This is not to make a broad-stroke generalization or to be unduly critical, but if you work in management of a men's retail store within 10-15 miles of the Saugus Men's Wearhouse... it might be an excellent learning experience to do a little shopping here and see for yourself. Go somewhere else !! With all the new outlet style stores there is no reason to shop here. They sell suits for 600 bucks get the second for 100. That's 350 per suit. Same suit Nordstrom rack 240. Let's not even go there on the tailoring. Even if you find something that is a must have (doubt it) their tailoring is horrendous. Threads hanging, the plastic thing that holds price tag on sticking out of the button. Had a suit tailored and put it on legit pants fell off as if I lost 40 lbs in 4 days. Tailored shirt couldn't button it because it was so tight. Just a outright disaster and an insult to that industry. I also went in there to pick up a shirt the other day, the one that wouldn't have fit me in 1987. Prom season. Disaster !! The guy legit told some kid he looked great ! I told the kid he was absolutely not accepting the fit. He looked like a burlap sack! Disgrace!!! If you don't care about your job go get a different one. Do yourself a favor and just don't bother. Those looking for solid, basic mens formalwear could do a lot worse than this store. The selection met expectations, and the customer service was outstanding: attentive, patient and responsive. Let me start with the good, the clothes are not bad and the selection is ok. The people who work there are something different, they seem to be always busy "hanging out" rather than "helping out". Its funny when you get in there they are all dressed nice and you think wow fancy this is going to be great but the delivery is just not there. He was so nice and cordial during the whole process that i did not mind 20 bucks at all. I would have paid 40 just for that service. Gave me his card and told me i was welcome to come back. I came to men's warehouse expecting the quality it is known to provide. Despite any of the pricing, don't expect to rent two basic tuxes for two events for well over $400 despite what the prices are listed as. The workers here may be charismatic but they are all incredibly rude and apathetic. They may never email you when the tux is ready, and when you call them they will literally verbally insult you. When I asked if it was possible to check the man told me "Buddy we emailed you, that's not my issue". I called back hours later hoping for another employee and asked, they put me on hold for twenty minutes then hung up. If you go in, change, they will tell you to wait for them to pack up your suit, then spend their time taking personal phone calls about the bruins game when they aren't on break. They'll walk past you multiple times, minimally adjusting shirts on racks acting busy while you and your friends are waiting. We waited for over an hour just sitting there, we asked for help and they all referred to other people who just referred to others. I've gotten wrinkly tuxes with stains on them and still charged over $200. Luckily I returned my tux on time, but they have a twenty dollar late fee for every day you're late, they only care about getting you in the door, and once you pay they couldn't care about you in the slightest. If you are reading this. Do not shop at Men's Warehouse it you want quality suits and good service because you will receive neither. I have never had a worse experience buying clothes, and it has happened four times. There are plenty of better local choices, where employees actually care about your well being. Men's Warehouse is an overpriced sick joke. I do not know how this location is still even in business based on how many people they treat like garbage read more

I bought a couple of suits here for the first time. I liked the sales person, he was very nice, but the end result was not what I wanted. After the alterations my suit fit me like the one the guy in the Talking heads used to wear. I look like a cinder block in them. It was supposed to be a fitted suit too. Every time I need a suit I'll just go back to Macy's. The best ones I ever got and had altered were done there. read more

My boyfriend and I went in to get him a custom suit made for our vacation 30 days before we left, Michael P was absolutely AMAZING and made it all happen for us in the short time we had! He went thru everything from start to finish and even got it rushed to make sure that we would get it back in time for any alterations etc, that may be needed... David H also helped out also! This place is a disaster. We recently had a wedding and rented our tuxedo's with them. A number of things went wrong. 1- It took me three fittings for them to get everything sized correctly. The shoes were super tight when I picked them up, the pants too short, etc. 2- One of the ushers picked up his tux at a different time, tried it on and it fit fine but later, about two hours before the wedding found out that they gave him the wrong tux, wrong color and wrong color tie. He didn't match the others and when we called them, they were not able to help us. When we returned the tux to the Saugus store and spoke to the manager, he was zero help. He didn't want to get involved, kept telling us to call an 800 number and basically wouldn't give us the time of day. He kept stating his internal policies to us which we couldn't care less about. This person has no business being in a customer facing role and knows nothing about customer care. 3. Every time I went for a fitting, they kept asking me for a credit card even though the tux was paid for online and when we kept telling them it was already paid for, they didn't know why or how their systems worked and what was charged and what wasn't. 4. We paid close to $250 for one days rental, was told there would be a late fee if we were late in returning the tux. We ended up returning 3 tux's at the same time and was missing one of the garment bags but had the complete tux. We were told at first that that we were not allowed to return the tux without the bag but then a manager came over, accepted it and asked us to bring it back the next day. In a nut shell, lots of things went wrong with this vendor and giving a wrong colored tux to on of our users and not being to to help correct the issue really put a lot of strain on our special day. I would recommend going to another vendor in the future. read more

I walked into Men's Wearhouse not expecting much. I had to get a new suit from an upcoming wedding, and was planning on going to one of the upscale places in Boston. I was driving by the store, and decided to stop in on a whim. I was very pleasantly surprised by the service I received, as well as the quality of the clothing for the price. Bryan Puglia helped me, and he was EXTREMELY helpful. There was no hard sell at all, and he was genuinely interested in helping me get what I wanted. I got some amazing clothes at a great price. Terrible service the managers are lazy and sit around while the young kids do all the work. the young kids even pick everything out and the sales guys just come over and try to give you some sales pitch on why to buy it. while the kids are being treated poorly. Just annoyed that I bought a suit here. I tried on the pants and the employee measured them for a hem. Then he asked if I wanted a crease in them. ? I said yes. I paid for the suit, and planned on picking it up the following Monday. As I reviewed the receipt while walking in the store I realized I was charged $12 for the hem, and $10 for a SUPER CREASE. What the hell is that??? I just hate that I wasn't told that I'd be charged for these two items. I did ask what a super crease was, and was given this bogus answer. What a bunch of crap. Anyway, my lesson learned was to review the receipt as I walked out the door, and to also not visit the store again - sounds like a sneaky policy. read more

My father was looking for a suit and after he realized that they had a "buy 1, get 1 free" type of deal, he called me and I joined him at the store to pick out a suit for myself. To make a long story short, the sales person (short lady in her 40s) seemed to know what she was doing, however, she was unbelievably rude and impatient. She was not listening to anything I was saying, kept getting annoyed whenever I wanted to literally take a minute to try something on (sighing, walking away, etc.). I finally had enough just before she rung us up and walked out of the store. I still can't believe that someone who is supposed to help customers could possibly have this much of an attitude. I took my son there last year for his prom. We had a coupon and we still managed to pay $245.00 for a tux rental. That would have been fine if the suit wasnt swimming on him. We were able to swap it out for a smaller sizes. Everything was big, shirt, pants, and jacket. How does that happen if he was measured?? We finally get the right size and when we got home we noticed the black pants were not the same black as the jacket. I hate that. Just purchased a Suit of great quality at an phenomenal price The service was excellent and the staff was courteous and professional .I had a bad experience at another store but it was nothing but great Service at Men's Wearhouse in Saugus. I unfortunately had my job eliminated this week so I will need to return to get another suit for the interviews. I have a difficult size but I trust Men's Wearhouse will be able to help me out. Very unhappy with the last MW's experience. When we went for the final fitting just prior to the wedding my tux had a large noticeable crease down the length of the jacket. The groom asked if it could be steamed. They promised it would be. They never did. Suffice to say it was very noticeable in pictures. Not the best service unfortunately. read more

1st of all most of the reviews of this clothier are old and unknowing. The place ain't bad. Get me. A typical Men's Warehouse which means fairly good product, neat and organized, bright and clean with accessible service at fair prices. That said my experiences here have been positive. They have been running two for one sales which are bargains. The staff is helpful and no more aggressive than any other retailer in this climate. The onsite tailoring is a blessing and about equal in cost to your friendly neighborhood tailor ( if you can still find one). You get good deals and it beats scouring the racks at Target or Marshall's for hits and misses. The quality is not Saks or Nieman's but even those guys have cut operating costs. Rather painless shopping with easy parking for gents with limited time to spend a full day hunting for that blue blazer. ( and yes you need a blue blazer in your closet if your not a notch above a Neanderthal ). read more

have never in my life taken the time to write a bad review before but Men's Wearhouse in Saugus has inspired me to do so. I was recently married and had my entire wedding party, along with my father and the father of the bride rented our tuxedo's from here. I went to set things up in early August with my then fiancé. Pretty simple and strait forward set up; gray tuxedos with purple vests and bow ties for the wedding party and gray tuxedos and gray vests and bow ties for the dads. My best man (nephew) shares the same name as me, as does my father. We knew this had the possibility to confuse, so we made a point to make this clear and distinguish each person by our different middle names, right away. One of my groomsmen and the father of the bride share the same name as well so we went over this with the person helping us as well. Everything seemed to go smooth and we went on our way. They asked for us to make sure everyone was fitted within a month but said it was not imperative. I went in with my father and best man about a month later to be fitted and made a point again to bring up the fact that the three of us shared the same name, they assured me it was all set. A week or so later my fiancé asked if I would call and double check with them that the vests for each father was going to be gray as opposed to purple, I called and was, almost dismissively told, that they had it under control. They also let me know that they would call me a week before to let me know when my tux was ready to be picked up. I confirmed the name confusion for the 3rd time during this call as well. Around this time one of the groomsmen went in with his son (the ring-bearer) to get fitted, at that point we found out that there were no gray tuxedos for a 3 year old (we were told that would not be a problem from the very beginning, which was a main reason we went with Men's Wearhouse). After some back and forth with my fiancé they ended up making the accommodation and getting the gray tuxedo for our ring-bearer. At this point it is 3 days before the wedding and I am running around like crazy with work and wrapping up other details when my fiancé tells me that her brother went to pick up his tux and the vest and bow tie was gray, not purple, I called Men's Wearhouse right away and let them know that was incorrect and they ,again dismissively, told me it was under control, when in fact it was not. I then realized that I hadn't received the call that I was promised, to let me know that my tux was ready to be picked up. They nonchalantly told me they forgot and that it was ready to be picked up. I went in the next day and they had me try on the tux before I left. It felt a little big and when I put the entire tux on and walked out they realized they gave me the wrong one to try on, which the employees thought was quite funny. Typically it wouldn't have been a big deal but it was a bit annoying at this point that they seemed to get every detail mixed up while having plenty of confidence in themselves while doing so. I then tried on the correct tux, paid $20 more than I was told it was going to cost me, and left. The day of the wedding all the groomsmen at my parents house to get dressed and have pictures taken. It was at this point one of my groomsmen noticed that a button was missing from his tuxedo and the sleeve of my best man's shirt had a long tear on it. At this point we are a few hours away from the wedding and didn't have much of an option but to take pictures of the rip and missing button and hope that Men's Wearhouse, in good faith, would not charge us for it. When the tuxedos were all returned the next day to avoid a late fee we were told (with a rude attitude) that there was no proof that we didn't break off the button and tear the shirt and therefore we would be charged accordingly. I believe they ended up making an exception but the way almost the entire staff approached their job and customer service was severely lacking. The staff hung around and joked with each other and did not seem to take their job seriously at all. It was clear that nobody was on the same page and if I could do it all over again I would 100% NOT be going to Men's Wearhouse in Saugus read more
