I've always gotten good customer service here But the store needs a good vacuuming (daily). Meaning under the tables and the rugs because they look disgustingly dirty. Last time I went there were about 5 workers and only 2 customers dealing with, myself included. I give up. I've stopped by The Men's Warehouse a few times and have left frustrated every time. I receive faster service renewing my drivers license. I have meetings coming up in Japan so I stopped by to buy 3 suits and some dress shirts. To get started, I just wanted to get some fresh measurements. This requires that QR code, filling out information, and waiting. I waited until I got tired of waiting then removed myself on a list and Unsubscribed from all of their marketing messages. Scheduled a fitting here for my wedding at 6pm. Walked in and was completely disregarded no one said anything to me. Waited for several minutes for the rental guy to attend another group. It's now 6:30 and another gentleman walks in and after finishing with the first party the rental associate turns and immediately helps the guy that just walked in, completely disregarding me. I was checked in on the website. Everything. I walked out. Disgusting customer service especially for something as special as a wedding fitting. Won't come back here. I went in today to buy a suit. I was told that before anybody would wait on me I had to scan a QR code, which I did. The QR code took me to an account page for Men's Wearhouse and it asked for my password, which I don't have a password for Men's Wearhouse. It for my first and last name which I did but then it requested I enter my email for me to set up an account. I was told that I had to set up an account before a sales associate would see me. I spoke to the young man at the desk and he told me it was only for registration purposes to see who was in line. That is complete garbage. I have never walked into a business where before they will help you, they hold you hostage by requiring I provide them with your personal information when you don't want to. We all know that as soon as I put that in that's when the clock starts and I start receiving marketing emails out the kazoo. If they would've asked me to give them my email for marketing purposes, I would have been more than happy to consider that request and give them what they wanted if that's what I wanted to do. I've never been in a store that did this to you and for that reason I will not do business with Men's Wearhouse ever again. I am one of those hard to fit people and I must say the moment I walked in the door the service was fantastic. The sales staff measured me and found all the clothes I needed! They all fit and they were all at a great price. As a bonus there is a tailor on site. Next time i need clothes or rentals, I will skip the Mall and go straight to Men's Wearhouse!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Walked in and was greeted by someone and as we began to tell him what we were looking for he stops to answer the phone. Then he's on the phone for 20 min while we are waiting only to have 2 people walk in demanding to be assisted. He assists them while we are still waiting. I dont care how short staffed you are. ALWAYS HELP THE CUSTOMER THAT WAS BEING ASSISTED 1ST!!!! NOTE: We came back an hour before closing... there were no customers, but 4 employees and not 1 greeted us or asked is if we needed any help. Shenandoah location - Tailor is rude and started berating the sales person and continued with me, trying to treat me the same way. I had to correct him and explain that the customer tells you what they want, you don't tell them what they should like. I was, (and I say was) up to 10 suits from that location and due to the tailor's attitude, it will be the last. That tailor has been there for years and he seems to have lost sight of who and or what puts food on his table. Go somewhere else. Note Men's Warehouse has all my information, could have contacted me directly to address this, but would rather say, "hey", if you want something here is our number contact us. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS LOCATION. The customer service I experienced here needs to be addressed at the highest level. You walk in and no one speaks or acknowledges you here. Secondly, while me and my fiancé stood near the customer service desk discussing options, 3 associates stood next to us talking and never asked if we needed assistance. At this point I'm trying to figure out why so many associates are at work if they are not here to work! I then had to ask two different men for help because they would abruptly answer questions and leave, like we were bothering them! We were even handed an iPad to figure it out on our own. I be damned if I ever spend a dollar at this location! I do not recommend this location, the location off of 99 will continue to receive our business. This location needs to reinforce their customer service training or do a facelift with their staff. I can tell from previous reviews that this clearly is an ongoing problem that management could care less about fixing. I would not recommend doing business with Men's Warehouse based off of the three experiences I've had with them. Every year I go to a consulate ball with my wife for her job. Two years ago, after investing a couple hours of my time to get fitted, etc., I was busy with work so my wife picked up my tuxedo rental. The day of the event I go to try it on and it's not even close. Luckily, we called them immediately and got a refund. I'm out hours of my time and my wife is left going to the event alone, but at least we aren't out the money. Last year, the rental process went ok. This year, after spending about four hours of my time, considering that they gave me the wrong items and I had to make multiple trips there just to get the suit, I was unable to attend the event that I turned down work to go to, because yet again, the suit did not fit. So, not only am I out roughly $200 to rent a suit for one day, I'm out the income from work. When I went to try on the tuxedo I expressed concerns about how baggy and ill- fitting the pants and shirt were. The sales woman's response was "that's just the style and there's nothing we can do about it." I was hungry, in a hurry, and took some faith that she knew what she was talking about, so I left without completely trying on everything. My mistake. On the day of the event I try everything on as I'm getting ready and it was comically large and embarrassing. The in-seam was a good six inches below my crotch, the pants were about six inches too long, I stretched the shirt out from my chest and used a measuring tape to find a twelve inch gap between my chest and the shirt, etc. You get the idea. I looked like a child wearing their father's suit and I was too embarrassed to go to the event looking like a clown. I returned the suit today and apologized to the blonde woman manager that I rarely ever express concerns but I had a problem with the suit. Her response was that I should have let them know earlier that I had concerns, which I explained to her that I did with the lady that previously helped me. Her response was that the style was what the consulate ball dictates and she has no control over it. So, simultaneously, it was my mistake for not letting them know to fix it and the consulates fault for not allowing her to fix it. Pick one because it can't be both. I got no refund. Eating roughly $200 for something that I didn't even get hurts, especially with inflation being what it is these days. I feel like I was robbed. TLDR: Long story short, I've missed two out of three events, I expressed concerns and was more or less told to pound sand, and I still had to pay money for a suit that I couldn't use. read more

Worst experience buying suits. I went in to purchase 2 suits and was helped by Jamson. He told me he was the suit expert, and I was lucky he was helping me. He never asked any questions to find out what I was looking for in a suit. He didn't offer for me to try any on, I had to be the one to mention it. He down talked the suit I was wearing and said it had come unglued, it was wrinkled in the breast area. Later the tailor came out and took my jacket I was wearing and pressed it to show me it was the cleaners I was using and not that it came unglued. I never heard of this before a suit coming unglued, so that makes me want to believe Jameson was lying to me. He said I should go to Paris and buy custom suits and it would cost me $3000 or more plus the trip there. He did everything to not sell me a suit. I should have left, but I didn't. I ended up paying $750 for the suits, not including alterations, they cost me another $150 or so. I called 5 days later and asked if my suits were in. The person on the phone did not give me their name. He said no they're in transit I can give you the tracking number so you can track them, I said no I just want to know what your process is for when the suits come in. Once again he said he can give me the tracking number and I can track it myself. Really, I just spent money with you and now you want me to track my own order that I ordered through you. Not even 40 minutes later I got a call from a nice lady telling me my suits were in. So, the first guy I talked to didn't even look, are you people really that lazy. When I tried on the suits the first pair of pants were extremely tight. I mentioned it and the tailor said no problem I can get them to fit. Then I tried on the 2nd pair, well those fit like socks on a rooster, they were huge. Again, the tailor said he can get them to fit. I was extremely frustrated and explained that to one of the managers who tried to explain how that is possible, the same size suits fitting differently from 2 different suit makers. This should have been explained to me when I made the purchase, and they should have had me try them on before I bought them. I didn't want to hear excuses. The manager then was trying to explain to me why the guy on the phone told me they were in transit. He showed me a screen that says "in transit" I said Well the guy should have looked, he said it says in transit so that's what he communicated to me. I said then that's a major flaw in your system. Again, I don't want to hear excuses, I want solutions. I called customer service, and they told me the district manager would be calling me back with 24 hours. It's been 2 days, and no one has called yet. No wonder the customer service in the store is poor, it is poor at the corporate level also. They say one thing and do another. I called them again today and they told me someone will be reaching out to me today. If they don't, I will be getting a full refund. I'm nervous my suits won't fit me the way I like anyway. Also they might need to invest in training for the employees on customer friendliness and service. We have been here 10 mins. When we came in, we were met with the smell of something foul that nearly knocked us over. I have no idea what it was, but it still reeks to the back of the store. We have seen 4-5 associates who have yet to look in the eye, much less wait on us. When we FINALLY, were greeted by an associate we sat down and had him interupt our consulatation to clear up an issue that he had been previously working on. Anyway, the salesguy was snippy to say the least, and was just acting like we inconvenienced him just by being there. Store could have been in better shape. So, I loved the Men's Wearhouse in La Mesa, California, but it was because they had a guy named Landon who loved mens clothing, a d liked what he did. This store was the total opposite. They don't are if someone walks in. They have a very dismissive attitude and walk around the store like your being there is an imposition on them. They don't check the register, and completely ignored me for what felt like 20 minutes at the register. They don't know how to manage customers, which affects their sales and the customer's experience. I liked having someone who understood what I was looking for and could recommend new looks etc. In California I gladly spent money when new stock came in. Here, I wouldn't because the communication is nonexistent. The current manager is Tracie Talley and I'd recommend she train her staff and employ people who care and want to be there. I agree with the average score of 2 stars. Training, communication, customer care and experience needs to change. read more

We used them for tuxedo rentals for our wedding. They promised better quality than Al's. The sample suits were very attractive. When we got the actual rentals, they weren't as nice, they looked rather sloppy. The rental shoes were dreadful plastic things that were downright painful. Funny .... despite the number of negative reviews, I have shopped here for years and have never had any significant issues (obviously, otherwise I wouldn't keep going back). Staff turnover, always selecting first the higher priced items, and inconsistencies with style selections among employees are the only problems I've had. I was just in a wedding father of the bride. I purchased a tux from them and all I needed was a vest to rent. So I rented they charged a "Rush" even thou the wedding was in a week 80 dollars for ten "Rush" note I spent several hundred buying tux from them. They se t the vest to the wrong store! We had to track it down remember Rush never was needed. So wedding day, best man is missing pants, shoes are 3 sizes off. We go buy pants! I take the vest back on Sunday as the wedding was Friday. They want to now charge a 20 dollar late fee! So after the manager comes over she removes the 20 but never asked or said anything. I have spent thousands over the last 20+ years. This place is a live saver and here is why I am getting married next week and I'm from Corpus Christi so my suite came in and I did not like it at all the size they measured me for was ridiculous it looked like i was a kid trying on my fathers suit when I asked if they could do anything about it and they replied no so I thought I was stuck. I went to sign closing papers in Conroe and figured why not stop by maybe they have the same color suite and I can just buy ones that I like the fit I walked in and they were astonished that corpus mens wear house didn't tell me they can just re order and have the suite back in 2 days to the correct style I like so they sized me at the Conroe mens warehouse and send the reorder to corpus for me to pick up and told me that they probably just didn't want to send my suite back but now they were going to make them reorder it for me this men's wear house saved me for my wedding and i can't thank them enough! read more

We were on a desperate search for a black suit and after 6 or 7 stores we FINALLY found something we liked at this Men's Warehouse. The store was extremely busy and no one was available to help us. The ONLY suit that was the right style and size was the one on a mannequin. We took the jacket off ourselves and it was PERFECT. The pants on the mannequin were definitely the ones we needed, so I asked a representative to take them off for us. She asked another rep about it and the rep looks over the mannequin and says with exasperation "who undressed that?!" I responded that I did and that we needed the pants also... to which she replied "oh I can't sell you that one." When we asked why they said that they had already done inventory and could not sell it to us until Monday... we pleaded with her for a minute ... isn't the point of inventory to SELL IT?! They still wouldn't. So we left. THEN a I called back to speak to a manager about it... SHE WOULD NOT SPEAK TO ME. I left a message for her to call me back and nothing. I will never buy anything here again. I paid a lot for a suit for my teenage son they told me at that time we paid for the first alterations that they alter it free of charge if needed later. When we returned to have it altered because my son had grown as teenagers are apt to do. They refused to do any alterations saying that only some suits have free alterations. The woman who helped was rude and very short this was after waiting forever just to speak with someone. Then she didn't have time to assist us with a new suit. Terrible experience at this location. Bought a " buy one suit get another for 50% off". Great deal and loved the "suit" but the alterations experience was awful. So, trip one was to buy the suit. Made 2nd trip to get fitted for the first suit..2nd suit was on order. Was told first suit, for my daughters wedding, would be ready Thursday, 8/10. Two (2) days before picking up the suit, called to be sure of the suit would be ready and the person who sold me the suit assured me it would be completed. Went to pick up the suit on 8/10 and it wasn't even scheduled to be altered. The staff on duty at that time did react quickly and refunded my alteration charge. But, I had to make a 4th trip the next day to pick up the suit...one day before my daughter's wedding. Also found out on my 3rd trip to pick up my alterations (that were never scheduled) that the 2nd suit I bought was no longer available. I would have never known that unless I asked... yet they had charge me the day of purchase for both suits. They did refund me for the second suit... But the whole experience just left a terrible taste in my mouth about the lack of customer service and the "sales pitch" that I was given by the person who sold me the suit. We, as consumers, have many choices and shopping at this Men's Warehouse this will not be one of my future choices. read more

I came to Men's Wearhouse after a recommendation by my brother to go through them for my wedding when I first got fitted the gentleman helping me assure that the suit would fit a specific way and it would come in a week before the wedding in case there were any changes that needed to be made. All my groomsman had problems with their suits and have to go multiple times to get them fixed. My suit coat was to long, and shirt was 2 sizes to big and when I brought this up. They told me "that's how it is" with 2 days before the wedding I didn't have time or the energy to discuss with them. I just used a button down I already had. I went back to get fitted for another wedding that I am standing in and my experience was ten times better. They were very helpful and the lady helping me was great. I told her about my last experience and she made sure my shirt and coat would be right this time around and told me what should be done in order for it to be right. read more

I visited the store, yesterday, Sunday March 25 at approximately 5 pm... about an hour or so before close. Upon entering the store, I was immediately greeted by Rita who had an infectious smile. I needed to make my black suit "a little more formal" and off she went. She got me to look at vests and then put together smart/fun shirts and tie combinations. I must admit, I was a bit hesitant after reading so many negative reviews prior to going but I've had such positive experiences with Men's Wearhouse in Illinois, Kansas City and now The Woodlands since 1992. I brought that up to her and she said that she was aware of it and the store was trying to improve. I thought she did a fantastic job!
