[803] This Mens Wearhouse location is located on busy Baltimore Pike. I searched the website for a boys suit and was happy to find out that you can reserve the suit for your visit. When I arrived the suit was behind the counter. I checked out the selection of boys suits. It was not large BUT I did have at least 3 options which is huge for boys in a men's store. The suit that fit the best happened to be on clearance which was great. They definitely know how to price clearance items. I walked away with $150 suit for $50 When I first walked in the staff didn't say anything to me but luckily I found the boys section. I was a bit bothered that I was next to the female worker for a while and not a single hello or are you ok. I ended up asking a male worker for help and he was AMAZING. He helped me pick out the suits... saved them for me so my son can try them on. Helped me pick a matching tie. He even hung up the suits we didn't take. So I had a really good visit and purchased a beautiful suit at an amazing price. I'll definitely be back! read more

This place is a textbook example of poor customer service. My handicap Dad came in last week to get a suit, and all of the employees went out of there way to banter and not make eye contact so they didn't have to help the person in a scooter. They were short, made it very obvious they were annoyed at the questions he asked, and what should've been a half hour visit extended to nearly 2 hours, most of which was spent sitting around waiting as the employees generally moved slow and socialized. I am in here today picking up his order, and again experiencing the same thing. Again, standing in a group 3-4 employees all servicing one other guest. None of them seemed to care about acknowledging me and the 2 other folks that came in behind me for pickup bc why would they, our sales have closed and there's no commission to be made. When I was finally acknowledge by Rayna, she told me to wait a minute while she finished helping a guest... and proceeded to walk over to another employeee who was already helping said guest, and just lingered around and joked with him. After 15 minutes of this I interjected and asked for my purchased items If she wasn't helping another guest, and she made a point to nudge her co-worker and roll her eyes in annoyance. Spare yourself the aggrevation, and drive the extra 20 minutes to cherry hill men's warehouse. Employees at this Springfield location are rude, inattentive, and make no consideration of those with disabilities. NEVER ordering from them EVER again. I ordered a suit for my dad a few weeks before Father's day - and only the jacket came in the mail! I reached out and they said they don't have the pants in stock anymore (seriously, it was a suit i ordered, NOT as separates). So they offered me discount and expedited shipping for another suit so i could have it before father's day so i went ahead with it- the order status didn't change for a few days so i reached out and the agent tells me the order is cancelled because it's out of stock. can't believe this happened TWICE , RIDICULOUS. Things have taken a negative turn between me and Men's Wearhouse. I was a first-time customer 2 weeks or so ago, and I was mostly pleased with my experience there. But now they are hammering me with rapid-fire email marketing! Here's a breakdown of the quantity of emails that I'm being badgered with, daily: February 1: They sent me 3 emails. February 2: They sent me 4 emails. (!) February 3: They sent me 3 emails. February 4: They gave me a break and only sent me 1 email. February 5: They sent me 2 emails. February 6: They sent me 2 emails (so far). That's 15 emails in 6 days! WHAT THE HELL Men's Wearhouse?! Number 1: I am unsubscribing! Geez! Number 2: It's annoying to be treated like that. Thumbs down! I'm bewildered why Men's Wearhouse seems to think it's a good idea to pester customers to this extreme with mass emails. What a nutty approach to cultivating customer relations! I placed an order fora suit online. I was assured of an arrival date which came and no suit. Contacted customer service which were of little help then was told thay they only had 2 of the suits in the country and my ordered had subsequently been canceled. So this location is small & can get jammed packed at times around prom & wedding season. When this happens, you need to understand that patience IS recommended. The past month has brought me to this location three times, each time it was busier than the last..... My son needed a suit for a job interview at a Hospital within a week. This is a tall order with the alterations that had to be made. The suit was ready on Sunday as promised, for Monday's interview! I then received a flash sale notification for a sale that I couldn't resist. It was difficult sorting through the inventory that was left online but Shannon helped me navigate through the process! I can see why the reviews are as they are, at least for this Mens Warehouse. One thing that I do not like, and have not liked through this process of wedding planning is when you get shamed for your budget. Mind you, I'm aware that every one of the sales consultants I will encounter during this process has to make a sale and typically a higher costing item or multiple purchases ups their commission. That said, I am someone who does advance research and I gathered that MW suits were about $100-150 to rent, so I went in with this information handy. When we got inside a sales consultant tried to sell my groom a $600 suit. When I told him we won't be needing that and what our budget was, he told me that everything else was at $200 and we would be hard pressed to even find a rental at that cost. And it was said in a belittling way. Uh OK. Based on online reviews, I knew for fact the rentals wouldn't be that expensive so I just told him to show me the rentals regardless. When I got back to another consultant, lo and behold they did have a black tuxedo rental for around $120. OK, I get that you want to make a big sale, but 1) don't treat me any different because I have a lower budget, 2) show me some things that ARE in my price range and don't deceptively try to say nothing is or make me feel bad for that range. In the end, we wound up not even going with the cheaper suit rental because it wasn't the style we were looking for. The only bright spot was the sales lady who pointed us to another store because she knew we wouldn't be satisfied with a purchase here. read more

Please do yourself a favor and drive a couple of more miles to another location. I totally agree with many of comments. I would not patronize this location. Ever! But to be honest, this does not include the woman that were sizing up the men she was busy and very good. But the men!...ugh...the men in there did not help Anyone who walked in there. Looking for help and asking for help! They just stood in the middle of the floor laughing and joking amongst one another. This place is horrible, literally go anywhere else for a suit. I needed to get a personalized wedding suit and it took 3+ months to get it to the point where it is at least wearable for the wedding (although it still does not fit comfortably or entirely correctly). Everyone in the wedding party has had similar fitting problems. The workers are entirely unhelpful in the fitting and measuring process, and can border on rude/incompetent. Absolutely terrible experience. People in our wedding party had Jackets/pants mixed with other members of the party. My brother's order was never fulfilled/cancelled without notification after he paid in full online. 2 days before my wedding we checked the shipping status and no order was found. They agreed to ship it overnight, however they in fact refused to ship it prior to 6 PM the night before saying they were confident it would be there by 12 PM the next day. IT WAS NOT. They told me it would take me 72 hours to speak to a manager, and that 90% of the time talking to the manager was not necessary. By the time I spoke to a manager they told me that the previous person who told me they would pay for a backup suit was incorrect, and they would HELP pay for a backup suit but it ALL DEPENDS. When I explained to them I was in a rural area and there was no backup suit to rent they had no options but to wait for the suit that did not come on time. read more

Wow, I can't even tell you how craptacular this Men's Wearhouse was. I had been years and years ago to get some male member of my family fitted for something or other, and I recalled it being well organized and well run. Ha. Clearly times have changed. When you walk in you are promptly ignored by everyone working there. The organizational level of the store is nightmarish, and the staff is made up of bored-looking teenagers. Our meeting with one of aforementioned bored teenagers took twice as long as it should have because every two minutes he would start talking to his coworker next to him and ignore us, and when he did actually pay attention to us across the desk from him, he was brusque and didn't listen to what we wanted. When this agonizing meeting finally came to its end, the salesteen tried to strong arm my SO into signing up for their rewards program by insisting that it was not optional and he couldn't proceed with the transaction unless he signed up. Obviously this is not true, and he eventually gave in, but not without the remark that we were going to get him in trouble. Only after leaving the store did I realize that the salesteen totally screwed up everything on our order. Spelled almost everyone's names wrong, entered in the wrong vest colors, and never told us any hint of what the price might be (which turned out to be insanely pricey). We ended up going to a completely different M.W. in Plymouth Meeting, which was polar opposite from this one, to get everything fixed. tl;dnr-- I would never go back to this Men's Wearhouse, and wouldn't recommend it even to someone I really hated. read more

Had a great experience buying my husband 2 suits here with Joe as our consultant. He has excellent taste and knows everything about how the suit should fit, how to coordinate, and even gave my husband some interviewing tips. It was a great experience for us. I will be recommending them (specifically Joe!) to any male friends we have looking for suits. We had a mishap regarding my fiancé's suit for our wedding and we only had two weeks to get our entire groomsmen outfits for a destination wedding. I am not sure how other customers ended up having those experiences in the other comments but I have purchased shirts, shoes, ties, socks, as well as 2 custom fit suits from them and the service has been absolutely superb. The people working there were attentive to my needs and respected the amount of money I was willing to pay for items, particularly on my suits. I appreciated the associate talking about the special promotions but have to give them a thumbs up for not pushing it on me once it was clear I was not there for a special. Alterations were fast and very reasonably priced. There were times that I felt like I was asking for too much in a small turn around but it was waved off by the associates as not a problem. I have shopped at many places specializing in suits and custom fittings and for me the staff has made them look like novices. I leave there pleased with the service and felt well taken care of. I truly hope that you have the same experiences that I have had. Just know what you want and be courteous when working with your associate. If they are unable to provide what you are looking for in that location, chances are the other locations have it and they can send it to the store. read more

To the next customer looking to purchase from this place: I have been purchasing items from T/M for years. Not only clothing but shoes as well. My complaint. Purchased a pair of summer shoes ( Margaritaville ) I've been buying these shoes for years. Last year I purchased 3 pair 1 for me and my two boys. Well after 4 months I noticed the shoes souls coming apart from the body of shoe. Took shoes and receipt to store spoke with sales men. After showing him the shoes. His response was ( that's what shoes do ) I said after 4 months? My last pair I still have and use them for work after 3 years ! A little beat up but the souls are not coming apart. My point ( they did nothing to correct the problem ) Forgot STORE Montgomeryville Store. I WILL NEVER SPEND A PENNY WITH THIS COMPANY. And I will make it a point to tell others! read more

Bah did my suit alterations and did a great job. The only knock I have is that the store can get very busy so try to avoid peak hours. the wait time for a simple tux measurement was a little crazy, but I can't blame them. There were groups of bridal PARTIES that walked in, rather than making appointments! That slowed the staff down tremendously and to be honest, they shouldn't allow it. I know it's hard to turn people away, but it should be clear that groups need to make appointments, so that walk-ins for measurements aren't waiting for hours. I will keep this short and sweet. I went to The Men's Wearhouse yesterday needing slacks, shirt and tie for a dinner last night. I bought a suit at the same location about 8yrs ago and had a great experience doing so. Well after wandering in circles for 30 minutes and twice trying to ask for assistance I simply left. It seems that the sales associates I asked for help we're more interested is discussing their Friday night than selling clothes. Very frustrating as I was a guaranteed sale. Only good thing I can say is they had our order. Service was terrible. We were there to pick up a tux for a wedding and it took an hour. Associate didn't stick with us and didn't have correct shoes so tried to talk us into other style. The shirt was too big but tired of waiting so just took it. When put shirt on for wedding had a big black stain on sleeve. Could not remove so had to wear it that way. Other groomsman had a shirt with stain also . The groom had a shirt with different sleeve lengths. They tried to say they were fine but bride was with and made them change it. When returned next day salesman was extremely rude. Apology was not sincere at all. This rental was very expensive!! Would never deal with men's warehouse again! Next wedding we will just buy suits!! read more

Everything went very well and my salesman, Turron was very likable and more than helpful in answering and helping me pick out the right tux for my big day. I have been to this location before, about a year ago and wasn't impressed. All the salesmen were on me like white on rice! Absolutely horrible service. My son and I walked in, explained we wanted to buy a Suit, were asked to wait for the woman who was at the cash register to help us. We did. For fifteen minutes. Then someone else came over to ask what we needed. We said we were told to wait for the woman. She finished and instead of coming to help us walked right by us with another customer, passed them off to someone else and then disappeared. They were having a great sale but their customer service lost us. We went to Jos, Bank in the next shopping center over and in the same amount of time we waited to no avail at Men's Wearhouse, we got help, picked out a suit, arranged for tailoring, paid, and were on our way. Went here looking for a decent Labor Day sale on suits. Told the person helping us that we had a budget but that we were definitely flexible with it. He measured me, and proceeded to say that there was nothing in my size that would work, and that was that. He did not try to sell us on any of their suits, and was extremely hard to talk to. Went here with my boyfriend to pick up his suit rental for a wedding. He tried it on with the suggestion of a worker there, then the staff member disappeared. We weren't sure how to re-package the suit, where to pay, etc. There were a lot of workers wandering around in there, not being very helpful. We had to wait at least 15 minutes to finally pay. I don't know why other to say than their sales team needs work. The person I got while likable was constantly trying to up sell me on other suits. I needed a firm hand with these people just to get what I was looking for in a suit. After I tried the suits on the tailor who was making the adjustments didn't like the way I was wearing my pants and decide to adjust them for me. He moved my pants to the height he thought they should be. It wasn't like they were really low. As a result of what he did I had to wait an extra hour and half when I came to get them pick up. They were quick to try and make up for it but continued to do poorly by not begin honest with me. They told me it was going to take up to 30 mins but when I returned I was told that there were 3 people a head of me. When first arrived there was maybe one other person there. Where did these other people come from? When I asked again he told me another 20 mins. read more

The store has clearly improved on their customer service since these earlier reviews. They went far above and beyond to assist my fiance with various needs for our wedding. They allowed him to return a suit that had already been altered, replaced it with a new, more expensive one for FREE, and used promotions, sales, and rewards points to our best advantage. We were floored by how much quality merchandise we were able to purchase for the price we paid. The store expedited our various orders quickly, followed up with us about our satisfaction. They were nothing but pleasant and helpful through the whole process. The store manager, in particular, was exceptional. He handled our issues with professionalism and courtesy, and was incredibly accommodating. read more

I was recently promoted at work and had to upgrade my wardrobe. It's been years since I had to purchase a suit. So I decided to visit the men's warehouse in Springfield PA. I saw the reviews on yelp because I google them for the hours and almost changed my mind because of the reviews. I am so glad I didn't. I had the great fortune of being assisted by Mr. Seth and Michael Lee. These two men were outstanding. Their eye for fashion and sense of style and taste was awesome. The game plan was to buy one suit which turned into two that had to be order for my size. Michael took the initiative and order a 3rd for me to try on because he thought the color would look great on me (he was right). With Seth's help we began picking out shirts and ties to give me different looks for all three suits that I could mix and match with one another. To say I received and education on mens fashion would be an understatement. In the end I purchased 3 suits 8 shirts and ties. It has been three weeks since my purchase and not a day has passed without receiving several compliments about my wardrobe. Even my regional manager pulled my supervisor aside and told her I look sharp and her response to him was everyday now since the promotion. I am now waiting for another great sale to further enhance my wardrobe. I can't wait to start adding pocket squares, get a couple more suits and play around with a few colors and different tie combinations. And you know who I will be going to for help. I rented a tuxedo for a wedding and the experience was awful. The first time I went to get fitted, I waited by the desk for over 10 mins without anyone helping me, so I left to come back another time. The 2nd time I came back, there was a line at the rental desk of over 15 people waiting to be helped. I had to come back a 3rd time to finally get fitted. When I came to return the Tux, which was the Monday after the wedding, they charged me $21 for a late fee... on the MONDAY AFTER THE WEDDING!!! They said the tux was due back on Sunday, which also happened to be Mother's Day. God forbid I wanted to spend the day with my wife, mother and children on Mothers Day. So they had the nerve to charge me a late fee on the first business day after the wedding. If you are thinking about renting a tux for any occasion, I strongly recommend anywhere BUT Men's Warehouse. read more

I would never recommend Men's Warehouse to anyone, not even my worst enemy! This place was horrible. I was in my brother's wedding and my son and husband went here for their tuxedos. There were a total of 9 men and 3 kids in the wedding and ever single order was wrong. One groomsmen had to go the day of the wedding for his final order because they messed it up so bad! One of the kids received an adult vest and shirt, every adult's pants were 3-4 sizes too big. It was horrible. To top it off the bride was told that the kids tuxedos would be $70, when we went to have them fitted we were charged $200!!! And told that they don't charge any less for kids. Why would you tell this to the bride and than tell the bridal party something else. They are extremely over priced especially for their lack of service and care. Overall, I had a good experience at Men's Wearhouse. The associates were knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. I did not feel pressured in to buying anything. They did a good job trying to sell their product, in addition to other accessories. I purchased a custom suit and an off the rack suit. I felt like the prices were a little steep.
