My husband and I visited the store in Tyler and were greeted by an employee who has worked there for 16 years. I knew he was the one to help us because he wore a tape measure hanging around his neck. We were looking for a new suit and a sports coat....I regret not writing his name down because this gentleman knew the merchandise so well he could describe which ones were the most comfortable for this Tyler heat and humidity in the summer. This store happened to be making immediate preparations to close and move to a new mall in south Tyler, so while the employee was eager to help us find a good fit, we walked out with one great-fitting sports coat and recommendations to see another Men's Wearhouse as his store would close in two days and not reopen until the fall. We needed the suit very soon so we are taking his advice. However, this fall I am sure when my husband needs another quality item to add to his wardrobe, he will shop at the new location and look for this Texas gentleman (born in Corpus Christi!!) to assist him in making just the right selection. read more

Stopped by for a sports coat, and Gracie helped me find just the right coat. She took the time to help me look at the different colors and different fits. After I picked the coat I liked, she helped me dress it up. We looked at shirts, pants, and ties. went there today, July 8th 2025 and was the worst decision to use their tailor. Paid $30 cash for them to screw up a pair of pants after we pre sized them and made it easy for them. They were measured to be ankle height and they cut it 3" above that. now they look like Capri pants. To add, i was a phone call away for questions AND ate at the restaurant next door. I would not recommend their tailor. read more

The person assisting my boyfriend for a tux was more involved with his ex manager being present than actually assisting us. We came back days later to pick up the tux and the measurements were all wack. My boyfriend looked like a square box and the jacket was large on him but they didn't request to do any adjustments and sent him on his way. Way too expensive for the poor quality service. read more

They don't seem to take appoint times seriously. They gave my grandson and his fiancee a hard time about their written policies stating "you don't understand how it works" (regarding the rent 6 get the 7th free). I was fitted, the slacks ended up short and the jacket oversize with the sleeves about 3 inches too long. Really, you guys have one job, get it right! As I was dropping my rental off an employee opened the door took it from me and looked at a group that was obviously a wedding party and said, "I hope you're not ALL here to be fitted". The bride to be said "We have an appointment", he blew her off. I turned around and said, "You might want to find someplace else". read more

If it was possible to leave zero stars I would. Paid $90 to rent a shirt and vest for my brothers wedding , came time to pick up and it was completely off size. The vest was about 3 sizes too big . I asked one of the workers there that I was wanting to get it adjusted and he didn't even bother to help. I was in there for about 40 mins despite walking in and asking for help and was not even approached by anybody . There were 3 guys up front one and not one asked to help me , they just asked what I wanted and caught an attitude . On another note as well one of the other groomsmen said he was told by one of the guys there that their shirt quality sucks . 0/10 will never shop there ever again. read more

I'm father of the groom for an upcoming wedding in California. On Saturday, we went to the Tyler store for an initial fitting. We waited and waited. We shared the ONE chair, and tried to stay out of the employees' way. They were way too busy to interact. After an hour or so, as the fun diminished, we realized this was going to take a lot more time and patience than we had, so we left. The following Monday I did manage to get measured-but gee, the young female employees seemed unprofessional- from the gruff welcome to the badly (badly) wrinkled dress one wore, they made the entire experience feel awkward to me, the customer. The cost of my rental is being paid for by the group in CA, yet for some reason I was pressured for a minimum payment of $20. I will not use TheMen'sWearhouse again. read more

I bought a pair of shoes for $150 at the men's wearhouse of Tyler. I tried on the right shoe in the store and it fit well. I did not see the need to try on the left shoe. When I got home, I put on the left shoe and it was obviously defective. I did notice that the shoes had some wear, so I suppose someone else made this same error and returned the shoes. Men's Wearhouse would not refund the money for the shoes. I was surprised because I had purchased a suit, tie, etc. from this store and had always recommended to a large contingent of associates. I just left the shoes in the store and walked out, with a valuable lesson learned. I will never return to this store and will take back my recommendations to my associates. read more

An AMAZING experience at this Men's wearhouse. We booked our appointment for myself and my groomsmen to get fitted and select a style that would be perfect for my wedding in Feb. Let me tell you, Jarell and his colleagues were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help us decide on the perfect tux. I went in with no appointment July 21 2022 to see if they had any good suits. The Manager Dana personally helped me select a fantastic Suit and Pants and offered to get them custom tailored to my size. I told him I was needed them soon, and he made the extra effort to get everything finished that same afternoon. He also hand selected several choices of stylish shirts and ties and I selected one with no pressure to buy anything. Very relaxed but professional atmosphere throughout the Store. Today I took my 17 year old son to get a new suit. He's never actually been sized for one. We've always done cheaper options up to this point considering how quickly they grow out of them. So we found the suit just fine but then it came time to find a dress shirt. They measured him, found his size, we opened package #1 and unfortunately it felt too snug. So we tried another option opening package #2 but the arm length was too long. So we approached the salesman of trying a 3rd but he informed us that it would be too big and we could not open another package. No other options were offered. I was shocked that they would rather reject our business than open another package and try to find a better fit. On top of this there was much side talk and eye rolling between the salesman helping us and "Bee",the saleswoman who hadn't said a word to us but seemed the most irritated and the one giving the young man helping us orders not to open any other packages. I get it that it's not ideal to open more packages than you need but why not offer to try to find that size in a different color that has already be opened if possible? Left feeling very embarrassed and offended. Anyway, I have four growing sons and based on my experience today I will never step foot in that store again. If you decide to go you better be dang sure you fit their cookie cutter sizes or just avoid saleswoman Bee and you'll maybe be ok. read more

After booking a men's group for rentals for the groom and the groomsmen and receiving bad service on both trips, we asked for pick up of the suits to be sent to Tyler location. Tyler store has gone above and beyond to try to fix a mess of a situation handed over by the Houston location. I can most certainly say, hands down they have the best customer service at this store. Missy and Ashley are awesome, they handled a stressed bridezilla and eased my nerves at every chance they had. My ONLY regret is not going to them initially. Men's warehouse in Humble Texas needs to train their whole staff, I'd NEVER suggest that place. If was nightmare to work with them! And that's putting it nicely. The WORST experience I have ever had at any clothing/rental store. The staff couldn't have been more unprofessional. I went in to get fitted for a wedding on my lunch break to find it suprisingly empty; two hours later, I was still there with no end in sight, so I left, only to have to go back and get refitted. From talking about being hungover to cursing in front of customers, they were clearly unconcerned with my presence. Two weeks later, when I picked up my suit, I walked out only to realize that I had only been given half of my order. I came back in to correct the issue, and was given what they said was the complete order. The groomsmen and I arrived at the venue at 1pm to get dressed and start taking pictures, only to find out that every single groomsman was missing something from their order. From bow ties missing, suspenders missing, even buttons on shirts were missing- one groomsman even had the wrong pants. We placed a call to the manager, who assured us that he would bring the missing items to the venue, which we appreciated, but really shouldn't have been necessary. We lost time with the photographer that the couple paid for, and added stress to what should have been a fairly simple transaction, which speaks to the incompetence of the staff and overall negative experience with MW. For those renting a tux in Tyler, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, where it will be appreciated. We have had always had great experiences with Harley's, at a fair price. I can only hope that MW can improve on developing a more professional and efficient staff in the future, to avoid wasted time, energy and money for all involved. read more
