Rented a tuxedo for my daughter's black tie wedding and went to pick it up the day before as scheduled. The pants and jacket had stains like it had not been cleaned, just pressed. The sleeves of the jacket looked like a toddler had done the sewing. The shirt had a ring around the inside of the collar, too! Had to go out and buy a black suit, which thankfully was able to be fitted without incident. DO NOT waste your time with this company! They do not care about the customer. Wasted $260 on a rental that should have been refunded because it was not used! Probably could have gotten a better deal at Goodwill. LOL If I could give negative stars, I would. read more

This is a great place if you're looking to stand around and be ignored for extended periods of time even as you make eye contact with the people who work there and they move on with their lives. I can't say there was poor customer service because I didn't get much of it. Even the person who eventually came to help me seemed visibly annoyed and even then I was told "someone will help you" , which appeared to be more hopeful than factual. Make sure you try on your tux/suit because my tux was so oversized that it was funny. I would have laughed if I didn't have a wedding the next day. I spent hours waiting for the corrections on the tux. It was overall just a crappy experience beginning to end. My son and I went to the Waldorf Men's Wearhouse and when we walked in the employees just looked at us.No one asked if we needed any assistance with what we were looking for.Luckily we had just left the Bowie location and had his measurements done but unfortunately they did not have his size available. So we were able to go straight to what he wanted and as we were looking for a tie to match one of the employees came and stood by us but still never speaking a word.This is rude and unacceptable.If we were on a time constraint we would have went somewhere else and spent $700. read more

4 hours ago My son and I went to the Waldorf location for him to be fitted for my daughter's upcoming wedding. Our in store experience was great. We were seen quickly, and the representative answered all of questions. We were advised that the suit wouldn't be available for pickup until Sept 6th, 2019. We were also given to opportunity to select a pick up location. Due to my son scheduled to be out of town the day of pickup, my daughter suggested we select the Manassas location. Her fiance picked up both of their suits that Friday. My son arrived at the hotel on Sunday the actual wedding day, to get dressed, and to our dismay the pants were above his ankles, high water's, or whatever term you use to say TOO SHORT! I was horried, and so was he. Dude you had 1 job, and that was to get his measurements right, and you failed. When my son-in-law returned the suit yesterday to the Manassas location, and expressed his disappointment he was told that my son should have tried the suit on. I am calling BS on the response. He was out of town, and wasn't available to try it on before the wedding. AGAIN YOUR STAFF HAD 1 JOB, AND IT WAS TO GET HIS MEASUREMENTS CORRECT! Maybe, you should change your policies. The suit wasn't available for pickup until the Friday before the wedding. This doesn't leave room or time for adjustments. Hell we could have taken the pants to ZIPS Cleaners for alterations. Customer service was the worst at this location. A female associate greeted my boyfriend which he responded but it seems she didn't hear him, which happens. But her response when he asked to pick up his tux was uncalled for. She said "oh now you're talking to me." It came off very rude where all that was needed was some assistance. On top of this, the rental he picked up had a worn out spot on the pants that they "couldn't replace". Above all, the associate broke the suit bag zipper and didn't have a "replacement" bag which I highly doubt, even if it were the case that they didn't really have any, there was a more professional way of communicating it over but no one had any kind of etiquette. The whole experience was awful, unprofessional, and disappointing for the brand. We won't be returning to this location for any occasion. read more

Dee is the absolute best! She is so kind and helpful. From the moment we walked in she helped us, even though it was prom season and the store was packed. My husband ended up ordering two custom suits with the help of Dee, and they came in about 3 weeks later which was awesome. Visited this location this past Sunday (March 13, 2022) to find some dress pants. Spent over 1.5 hours on the over all inside of the store with no help offered by any of the staff. I wouldn't be writing this review if it was everyone having issues with being helped but several other individuals were welcomed and helped to find what they were needing and I was ignored completely. When attempting to checkout, I spent 20 minutes of the time waiting for someone to check out for one pair of dress pants..... very unsatisfactory service provided and unwelcoming atmosphere. read more

This place is dreadful. Like, worse than your average visit to the Motor Vehicle Administration and it's not even close. An absolute nightmare. The staff ignore you and when it's finally your turn to try on your overpriced penguin suit (after forcing the attention of one of the indifferent pinheads behind the counter), it's an hour later and the suit doesn't come close to your original measurements. The woman who does the fitting has the personality of a fence post and seems like she hates her life and you too. The service is terrible and the management must be the culprit. I will never come here again (and only did because I was part of a wedding party and had no choice). Dropping off the tux was easy only after being barked at by the guy behind the counter. "Hang up the suit right there and leave" is essentially what he told me. "You're gonna hate the way you look...I guarantee it." I hope you go out of business, MW. I was part of a wedding party, and we went to this location to get fitted for suits. The wait was a bit long, but the individuals who helped us were certainly professional, and clues us into several deals on miscellaneous items. Fitting went well, clothes were delivered on time, everyone looked really sharp, and the wedding was great. This was perhaps 2-3 months ago. Yesterday, I came back to the same location to get some nice dress shirts for interviews I have this week. The same individual approached me and asked not only about the wedding, but about a competition I had been preparing for. Again, this was 2-3 months ago and the competition was only mentioned in causal conversation. That is the pinnacle of customers service. I would never have expected the lady to remember anything of that nature, especially in casual conversation. I am ashamed to say I didn't get her name, but I was extremely impressed. We ordered two very expensive suits for hubby. The pants needed tailoring, so, they marked everything and gave him a slip for pickup. Only one was ready when he returned to get them both, the other one wasn't even altered in any way. He tried them on and found that out. They had a marked ticket that they had been altered. He was told that he could return the next day after 6 p.m. and pick it up. We got there around 6:15 p.m. or so, they hadn't even started on the pants. We waited and waited. It was about 45 minutes before they were ready. We could have left and returned later, we wanted to get some dinner, but we weren't given the option to do that. It was just annoying. The sales lady that helped us, Dee is the store manager and she was very frazzled with all the people in the store. There seemed to be a lot of standing around for the other employees, they weren't really helping anyone. They were talking to each other about people in the store though, not cool. That's too bad, since it made our wait longer. No one even offered to help us until Dee came out and saw us standing there. I think we waited about 10 minutes initially before she saw us. I don't know if they have any future suit business from us. Hubby wasn't impressed and I sure wasn't either. read more

My husband was in a wedding in another state that he needed the groomsman suit, so we went to our local Men's Warehouse, an hour from where we live in MD. We got back the late following day from the event and were too tired to drive the extra go up to return it on time. With our new COVID jobs, we needed to wait a week to bring in the suit. No worries, sometimes you gotta suck it up and take the late fee. However, when my husband goes back in store to return it. He lets them know that it is a week late and they respond, "you're killing me." He was informed of the $20/day late fee and he says, "no problem, I can do that." The employees proceed to go off about how we would have enough respect to return a rental car on time, and make it very personal and uncomfortable to the point that it made us want to take the suit back another week and pay an additional $100+ late fee. We were being perfectly pleasant and they were incredibly rude right off the bat. read more

My experience with Men's Wearhouse in Waldorf has yet to be a good one. The staff are friendly and helpful enough but they consistently have problems in their tailoring department. I have yet to have a suit done on time and I have bought 6 suits in the past two years at that location. Unfortunately there isn't much of another option in this town. Aside from them not being done on time, definitely do not leave without trying them on. The last two suit I bought were Customs and the pants ended up being negligently long and the sleeves were not cropped to what was specified. If I am spending the premium price for a custom suit I expect that it is done right and done on time. It is unreasonable for customers to continuously return for re-tailoring. This is such a headache. I can't stand it! I guess I will take more time off of work on Monday to pick it up in the morning. I wish it was possible to charge business for my lost time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.... read more

Came here to rent tuxedos for my sister's wedding. While the staff was very friendly and helpful, it was disappointing that the only size jacket they had in the store for us to try on was a size 40. Went in today to buy a prom tux for my son. The staff seemed overwhelmed. The lady taking the order was unfriendly and the swatches she showed us were dirty. She didn't have much information, but kept writing things down and seemed upset that my son didn't make up his mind immediately. Not much to choose from and there didn't seem to be a date for completed tailoring. After ten minutes of being treated poorly, minimal/ sub-par / unfashionable merchandise, and dirty swatches, we left. Went to Express and found beautiful, fashionable, well made attire in twenty minutes. Plus the staff there was super friendly and helpful. read more

This was our first visit to a Men's Warehouse, and in Maryland none the less. Up to now our experience with shopping and eating in Maryland has been less than spectacular but today was a very good experience. We walked in and was greeted by a gentleman who began to help us and then handed us over to Dee, the manager. Dee was very professional and knowledgeable. I tried on one size and she said that it was not a good fit so we went up a size which was better. She had me try on several styles and colors until I found 2 that I liked. Of course they were having the BOGO free sale so that was helpful. I also picked up 2 vests. The last time I went to mens store was in Fredericksburg (a different company, not Men's Warehouse) and that was not a good experience. I was worried that this would be the same but am glad it was not. Even though we have to pay a toll coming back to VA we will definitely be going back to this store next time I am in need of a suit or coat. read more

Terrible service!! Ordered a tuxedo for my brothers wedding. It was ordered fitted, when it came in I received a fitted jacket and regular loose fit pants. When I went to the store about this, 2 people in the store told me my a** wouldn't fit into fitted pants, I wear a 32/30 and wear fitted pants. I walked out and had to go to another store in White Marsh, MD. Finally was able to get fitted pants to match my jacket. I will not deal with Mens Warehouse again read more

How I wish I read the reviews on here before dealing with this location. They obviously don't ha e many stars to begin with. Worst service ever!! Evan was the associate assisting my family with their fitting and was not helpful at all. He wasn't able to pull up our information so my brother called me (the bride). I asked him what other information can I give him to assist in pulling up the group. He kept cutting me off giving me a road block answer every time I tried to give him ideas (i.e. My telephone number, my name, my finances name, etc). He said there was no other option unless I had the group number. My fiancé was at work so I wasn't able to get ahold of him so I was calling all the other groomsman to get this number. Why every other men's warehouse was able to pull it up with a name or telephone but this location? Who knows I asked him how we can avoid this so others wouldn't have the issue and his answer was "I mean it's just the system". He didn't even bother to make the situation right. He said "I mean, you can email the head office of men's wearhouse". What?! Who says that about their own company instead of attempting to resolve the situation themselves before it gets escalated. Being in the service industry myself, I understand that things go wrong. However this location didn't even bother to find a solution or do it with a positive attitude . This Men's Wearhouse is my go-to location and I actually live up in Baltimore, so that should already say a lot in itself. I first started frequenting this location over a year ago and ever since then, the staff has always been friendly, helpful, and thoughtful with whatever my needs are. Whether I'm buying a new tie to match a certain shirt, socks, pants, shirts, sweaters, belts, or entire suits, I know I will receive great assistance from the staff here and not feel rushed. I've been to other locations that are a lot closer to where I live, but the service is nowhere close to what I am accustomed to receive here in Waldorf. I see the not so good previous reviews of this location and I must say that to give this place a poor review, you really have to have close to zero amount of patience because the staff here is extremely professional and helpful. If you wanna look casket sharp, come to this location! As my man used to say on the commercials, "You're gonna like the way you look, I guarantee it". read more

The sales associate that was "helping" us did not even get up from her seat and offered no suggestions or advice. She even made fun of a larger man in my wedding party. I left very upset and angry. Don't go to this place, it's the very worst with customers service. Had to get my tuxedo for my wedding. Went to pick up my items for the wedding, tried the shirt on (which I was measured for) and it was super big on me. When I told the associate it was too big he respond by saying *well hundreds of people wore that shirt, your not going to get it perfect*. This is my first and last time with men's wear house. Please take your hard earned $ elsewhere. This place don't care about the customers. I must say Mr Curtis and Ms D was great.
