Spent $400 on a couple items fresh out of the ER. Didn't open the pants to inspect just grabbed my size and ran. Don't even get them out of my truck to realize one leg was ripped and had bad stitching. With tag still on and all I brought back to exchange. They said no because they were ripped... Even if it did happen in my backseat $150 jeans should not rip before they leave the leather seat. Not possible. Quality control going down hill unfortunately and a worse excuse to back it up.. Will have to look elsewhere for work clothes. read more

They messed up my entire groomsmen's suits for my wedding. The manager was not professional at all and making it seem like it was our fault. I was the one who went to the consolation with my soon to be husband and everything was correct. They messed up the biggest piece of my wedding. I do not recommend anyone go through them. My boys ordered tuxes for Prom. We went in a couple weeks before. Upon pick-up today, nothing fit. One son - jacket was a 48 instead of a 40. Now we have to go back the morning of Prom and hope the new one fits....Other son, pants about 6 inches too short and jacket too tight. They tried altering the pants to make them longer, but still an inch or so too short and jacket too tight. I would not recommend this place. You spend a lot of money for something that does not fit right :( read more

Attempted to get my suit tailored about 5 times due to an upcoming wedding. I even left work to make it there during the hours they told me the tailor would be in. Each time I went they kept telling me the tailor is unable to see me for various reasons and kept pushing the time later and later to the point I will be unable to get it tailored in time. The whole point I bought a suit from Men's Wearhouse was due to the tailor option. Not only am I not impressed in any way, I am disappointed and frustrated at the whole process. Avoid this Men's Wearhouse if you can, they have very poor insight to the needs of their customer. Very unprofessional and significantly lacking in clear communication. read more

Had an appointment that was confirmed the day before. Arrived early. When we were finally approached by a sales person. She was rude and condescending. When I told her we had an appointment, she asked if the group was registered. I wasnt sure, told her the names it might be under. She never looked them up, said she couldnt help us until the entire party arrived. She offered no guidance. She took no measurements. She left our party at least 3 times to wait on someone else and they werent even busy. I had to ask another sales person if they could take our measurements. We had to go in search of our shirts and vests on our own. When we asked if we could try them on we were directed to look on the clearance rack for same size and style. Pathetically lazy. Had to rent a suit from them for a wedding I was in. The initial sizing was a fine experience but when I returned to pick up the suit and try it on, everything was too big by a noticeable amount. When I asked about making changes I was made to feel like an ass for even asking, and told that a different size would look much worse unless a bad fit was the look I was looking for. They were incredibly rude, and made to feel like the bad fit was entirely my fault. read more

My 9-year-old child identifies as non-binary and wanted to get a suit for picture day. They were born female and had a lot of anxiety about going into a store for men. Olivier treated them the same way he treated all his customers that I saw him interact with that day: with kindness, respect, and humor. He gave my child a sense of inclusion and belonging. The help is extremely rude here. They sort of size you up before you purchase and decide whether you can afford what they are selling, which is mostly outdated clothing for an aging population. Burlington definitely needs a men's clothing store. Not this one read more

My first experience at Men's Wearhouse was exceptional. I was greeted and taken care of by Olivier T who's gregarious personality absolutely blew me away and is one of those employees they need to do everything to hold on to. Olivier listened to the style I was looking, took the time to go over options and picked out some things for me to try on. He nailed it on the head right away and had great options for me to pick from. The pants I picked needed some alterations to fit which I was a bit nervous about and I put my trust in their hands. I picked up my pants today and WOW... they knocked it out of the park. I could not be any happier with my decision to go here. STAY AWAY!!! Highly recommend you don't come to this store. They fit the suits poorly, and have very limited sizes, meaning they make you get everything tailored and pay for each part of that tailoring. Which also means you have to come to the store multiple times to make this happen. Just left after my 3rd visit to the store and I leave with a suit and shirt that doesn't fit properly, and I am very disappointed with the experience and service received. read more

Prices: Good Organization: Disaster Management: Uncooperative and Argumentative I went to Men's Wearhouse to get suits for the groomsmen in my wedding. Most of the salespeople give you that slimy car salesperson feel but one guy was good. Unfortunately he had already put in his notice so handed us off to Segi. Segi was the only person in that store who seemed to have a clue about customer service and how to get things done. We worked with Segi to purchase suits and then had the guys come in for tailoring. This is where it really fell apart. Leaving the (purchased) suits there and having to groomsmen come in seems to be a non-standard practice because this is where the disorganization began. If Segi was at the store, the suits could be found. If not, there was a scramble. It got even worse once the suits were being tailored. I went to pick up one of the suits and they couldn't find it anywhere. They hunted all over the place and after I suggested that they look at their tailoring log they realized that it was in fact, still being tailored. Today I called to find out if the suit was ready for me to pick up and we went through the same rigamarole; no one could find it or tell me where it was. Eventually I discovered that the suit was picked up two days earlier by the groomsman so I call them back to tell them this. Everyone was relieved but I decided it would be a good idea to tell the store manager about my experience so they can improve it. I was shocked to find him quickly making excuses, raising his voice, and arguing with me. He told me it "wasn't possible" to keep track of all the suits. I tried to bring him off the ledge, to tell him that I just wanted to provide constructive criticism so they could be better but he just kept arguing and telling me I was giving him a hard time. Advice: Try some place else first, but if you must buy from here, do NOT leave anything there that you have purchased until you are ready to get it tailored (or even better, have it tailored somewhere else). If you do use their tailoring service, be sure to keep tight dibs on when things were dropped and when they will be ready using your claim slip. They have no idea (or records) if a suit has been picked up or not. read more

WIth living in Vermont, you often find yourself limited to some options in the Fashion industry. At the time, I was a senior in college and looking for a suit for entering the real world employment market. I went into Men's Wearhouse in Williston and was not greeted for about 10 minutes (might I mention the store was not busy) and when I was greeted it was a simple "hello". I was looking in their suit section and was never asked if I could be helped or what I could be helped with or anything. I stayed for about five more minutes and left. About a month later I went back with a suit top that I had purchased from another clothing store and asked for them fit me. The female tailor come out from the back and pointed for me to stand on a elevated platform. I know I am young but I am one that wants to create a relationship with my tailor and what some line of communication for what I am looking for in the fit. I was never asked any questions about the suit top, how I wanted it measured and cut or what type of fit I preferred. At this point I was starting to get annoyed with the tailor for not asked these questions and when I tried talking with her, all I got was scrambled answers. I left with paying about 20 dollars for the whole thing after applying my 50 dollar gift card. I will say if I do choose to go back to this location, I will request a different tailor but I am hoping to avoid this location at all costs. Overall, I would suggest that if you do choose to shop or have your alterations done here, you make sure they are doing it how you want it, otherwise you may be disappointed. read more

Thank you to the MW team for helping my husband look fabulous at our wedding! We rented a tux just for him; small wedding, so no outfit coordination for groomsmen. The staff were great from the first visit - taking measurements, and explanation of the rental options - to the final fitting and then the return. We were worried that the measurements might be too small, or that the vest wasn't quite the right color (my dress was champagne and their color swatches were only in ivory or pink), but everything turned out splendidly. The process to get tuxes for our wedding party was pretty easy and the help along the way from the Men's Warehouse team were of no complaints until today when I returned my groom's tux. The salesman, Rob was unwelcoming and rude. I know a shipment had just been received so he must have been overwhelmed but I expressed I was in no rush and would wait until I had his full attention. He took me at the register, I explained we had ordered 6 suspenders and only received 5. My groom did not have them on our big day. No sweat but when asked to pay the 1 day late fee, I asked "seriously? Even with the suspender mistake by Men's Warehouse?" And he replied with "seriously." I explained that wasn't fair and he took off $5. Then, I asked how we redeemed the free suit for the groom. He mumbled something, almost annoyed by my question and said to come in within 30 days of our wedding. I was being VERY kind since I'm in post wedding bliss. I get it, customer service isn't easy but I think Rob could have at least said; "congratulations." His overall mood and energy left me feeling awful and would discourage me from recommending Men's Warehouse to others celebrating milestones such as mine. Besides Rob's lack of customer service, the tux was beautiful and everyone looked sharp. Went to the Williston VT location to buy my husband a tuxedo. Service was absolutely HORRIBLE. From the moment my husband and I walked in they were so rude. The 2 salesman were all over the place. Did not pay attention to us. The manager was awful. Rude and disrespectful. giving us awful looks. If I could give zero stars I would. They lost out on a BIG sale as we were ready to buy a 700$ Calvin Klein tux that same day. If you are looking for a suit or a tux DO NOT GO THERE. I've been there a couple of times over the past couple of years to buy apparel for work (business casual) as well as a couple of suits, and I've never been disappointed with their service. I try to go when they aren't too busy, so the salesmen can stay focused on you. Some salesman give a nice personal touch, to make it feel less like a shopping experience and more like working with a personal tailor. The prices are high, but I think you get what you pay for in quality. This is especially the case for dress shirts (compared to department stores). Their jackets/pants/shoes/accessories haven't let me down yet either. If prices were lower, and they had a larger selection of apparel that was more casual, I would probably shop there a lot more often. read more

very rude people, bothered that they have to help people who "don't look like they fit in here" to say. first experience there I was looking for a shirt and vest for my wedding, never even got asked if they could help me at all. second visit had to get fitted for a suit for a different wedding, almost like I didn't even have an appointment. third experience, called last week to see if the suit was ready for pick up, due to shipment issues everybody was stressed out and taking it out in the customers. lady at desk is extreme rude. due to my job, I am on the road all week and can't just drive 45 miles for fun before they close. hence why I called LAST Wednesday and was told suit would be in the next day. place is a cluster, people are nasty, and whole atmosphere sucks. just ask the guy in front of me who ordered 2 shirts and paid for them then told he only ordered 1! thank god I don't need to dress like this for a living, but this place sucks! read more

Fantastic customer service! I loathe the thought of clothes shopping, but coming here is a pleasure. Rob has a great fashion sense, and was able to help me find clothes that worked for me. When it comes to clothes shopping this is the only place I go. The service has been great year after year. (not sure about the other reviewers) Yes, you will spend more money here, but it sure beats pounding your head off the wall at the mall, dealing with minimum wage clerks, and a dismal selection. I bought two pronto uomo platinum $500 suits a couple years ago, in California for a church mission I was serving. I bought them based on the lifetime warranty for problems with the suit. I went to the North East for two years in which I needed them for meetings. I wore the suits once a week and rotated which I wore so every other week for 3 hours each just sitting during meetings. All of the pants frayed on my inner thighs after only 6 months. I took them to the men's wearhouse in Burlington, VT hoping to use the warranty and was turned away because apparently the 6 months I wore the suits for a couple hours every other week was the "lifetime of the suit" which is apparently what the lifetime warranty meant. The lifetime warranty covers until the suits lifetime is up which according to that manager was whenever the suit wore out. I felt honestly that the manager felt like he could be rude and get away with it because we were a couple young goofy looking missionaries in ties and name tags. I will wear suits for the rest of my life and feel like I can never shop at men's wearhouse again, and being a very active church going person I know a lot of people who buy suits and every time it has come up I have adamantly discouraged people from buying from men's wearhouse and will continue to do so. I bought two $120 Stafford suits from jc Penny's to replace the two $500 suits and they lasted the other 18 months of my mission and I still wear them weekly to church. Buy from here if you want the name but don't care about the service. But if you want a better suit, cheaper, with the same service, shop elsewhere. read more

My son's wedding party ordered from here. 5 groomsmen, 2 ring bearers, father of the bride and father of the groom. Nearly every one of the measurements were wrong and multiple garments had to be reordered. When those came in they were still wrong. Even my 2 grandson's, the ring bearers, shoes were measured wrong and this was after first telling us that their tuxes had been cancelled, 5 days before the wedding. Panic! The groom's pants were too short and were reordered 3 days before the wedding. His father's shirt looked like a tent and the jacket too small. The last minute tailoring looked like a kindergartener had done the stitching. This is all they do in this type of store. They don't sell anything else which means....they aren't going their jobs. They should be able to take measurements correctly. Very stressful at an already anxious time. read more

We used Men's Wearhouse recently for our wedding and I'd say for the most part it was ok. The price to RENT a tux or suit is expensive. I originally ordered black tux's because the light grey I wanted was 300.00 each for the night. Now my girls bought their dresses at David's bridal for 170.00 (and they keep them) so paying 300.00 seemed outrageous to me. Men's Wearhouse partners with David's bridal so we went there to make sure the colors matched perfectly, and they did. A couple weeks before the wedding my cousin who works at men's warehouse out of state called me and said he could give us a really good deal on the grey tux's I originally wanted (Thank God for him) so we switched. When we got there the Thursday before the wedding to get fitted, only two of the 6 suits fit correctly. Some ended up having to reorder which meant having to go back the next day to get refitted again, two of the vests had to be re-sewn by the onsite seamstress because the people who wore it before had sewn it all wrong and it was twisted. My sons (the best man) shirt was so big we ended up buying him one at Walmart to wear with his tux because Men's Wearhouse just couldn't get his size right and we were running out of time. All in all, the wedding was beautiful and the guys looked amazing (thanks to my cousin) in their light grey suits with the vest and tie that matched the girls dresses perfectly. I just wish it wasn't so expensive to rent the suits, and that they fit like they're supposed to. Having to get measured three months before a wedding leaves so much room for errors come two days before the event and nothing fits correctly so we're scrambling around to make it right when the bride and groom are going through enough stress getting everything ready to be married. read more
