I am making this post on my daughter's behalf as she is a first time parent with a full schedule and I have the time. Her 2yr old toddler has had 2 visits in this office. The first appt was a good experience , her father brought her in and they gave him advice on continuing to do good hygiene and to limit juice to 2x a week and encourage more water. This visit was quick but it was only an exam which is to be expected. For a little background this is an interracial couple. Only one parent came for this first visit. The toddler had an unfortunate accident which caused her to lose a tooth and impact another. She was taken to the ER and the parents were told to follow up with her dentist within a week. As this has happened mom has taken time off from work to care for the baby. She had follow-up appointments scheduled with the pediatrician and dentist and would need leave paperwork filled out. On the second visit: Both parents come to the appt. the dental assistant comes in and asks "what brings them in today?" Mom begins to explain that the baby jumped off of the couch and hit her face on the coffee table which caused the injury to her teeth. As mom is explaining the dentist rushes in and asks "what brings you in today?"so mom explains why they are there again. The dentist looks in the toddler's mouth calls out to his assistant that the "central left is missing and the other tooth is impacted". He then turns to the mom and tells her "so why are you here?" She responds "we are here as a follow-up visit to see what the next steps would be" He says there is not a next step her tooth may come back down we have to wait and see if it does and to follow up in 6 months." He then says "he can't fill out her paperwork bc he didn't tell her to take time off from work and didn't prescribe medication and this isn't a serious injury that she would have needed to take time off from work." He asked her if she had x-rays? Mom says "yes hey took x-rays at the ER but she doesn't have them" and tried to explain why she needed the papers filled out and he would not allow her to get a word in only telling her that she "should go back to the ER to get them to fill it out bc they are idiots and should have done it if they told her to take time off from work." He ended the visit saying he can't fill out the paperwork and that she "can fill it out herself and send it in it will be okay." He said "if I fill this out it's not going to look good like I did something wrong here." Making it seem as if taking a week off from work would have been an improper response to take care of your child. The take away from this experience: Why wouldn't you take time off to care for your child if they are injured??? Why would you bring in the x-ray from the ER? Why wouldn't Dr.Armanazi look up the X-rays in the medical database? Why would mom fill out leave paperwork and turn in without a Doctor's signature so it can be denied?He left the parents feeling rushed, disappointed, and that they were wasting his time. Next steps: Visit google, Ohio state dental board, insurance carrier, and most importantly find a new dental practice who is more professional and has the time to properly evaluate and care for patients. read more

I was hesitant to leave a review because we really do like Dr A as a dentist; however I think it's important for others to know what to expect when looking for a pediatric dentist. We transferred here in 2018 after our original dentist retired. Loved the atmosphere and the accommodations to make it more comfortable the the little ones. Dr A and his staff are great with the kids. BUT - in the few years we have been coming here - our visits are no more than ten minutes. Sometimes less. Compared to the other dentist we were seeing - it just didn't feel like a thorough exam. This last time we went - I purposely timed it and with X-rays, a visit from Dr A and a cleaning - we were in and out in 8 minutes. Just doesn't seem right - and compared to the other pediatric dentist - the visits were 3x as long. I get they're kids and don't have the patience - but the exams are missing something. Going with my gut and switching to someone that takes more time for what I'm paying for. read more

I took my 7-year-old daughter to see Dr. Armanazi as a referral from a referral for an abscessed baby molar (our family dentist suggested a specific pediatric dentist due to the spacer needed). I was excited to get the tooth taken care of and the office was beautiful, and my kids loved it as there were video games and the front desk staff was friendly and attentive. That is where the positives stopped. Upon, meeting Dr. Armanazi, he immediately suggested extensive dental work (we were just there for what we thought would be a simple excision) include crowing all her baby molars and addressing the abscessed toother until general anesthesia. Once he knew our insurance wouldn't cover that type of procedure, he refused to help us. He spoke about my very perceptive and articulate child as if she wasn't in the room. When I suggested we ask her about how she feels about having her tooth pulled, he and the dental hygienist in the room looked at each other and practically rolled their eyes in front of me. His excuse for not helping us was that he didn't want to "traumatize my child". I left the office in tears due to this condescending and arrogant behavior and demeanor. Well, today, a very lovely oral surgeon pulled my daughter's tooth with Novocain and there was ZERO TRAUMA. I suggest Dr. Armanazi to no one. read more

I will never go to Dr A again and will make sure all my friends who see him know about our terrible experience. Dr A recommended sedation for dental work for my 5yr old son in November 2023. I told him I wanted to get a second opinion, but in the 1 month time span of getting a second opinion, one of my son's teeth had chipped away. Because of scheduling conflict with our new dentist, I called Dr A back and scheduled to get this now cracked tooth taken care of, as I was really worried about infection/pain. Dr A told me that I got a second opinion, it was the other dentists problem now. He flat out *refused care* for my 5yr old son. Even when I asked if he could fix the tooth under sedation like originally planned, he said no, he would not be seeing my son anymore. He sent us out of his office with a cracked tooth and signs of infection and told me to please not call his office again. All because I got a second opinion on the dental work/sedation. Dr A is a rude and uncaring dentist with a small ego, who claims to welcome second opinions but then refuses to see you after you get a second opinion. Who sends a 5yr old away with a visibly broken tooth and signs of infection?! Terrible pediatric practice... you do not care about kids. To add, we got into another pediatric dentist the same day, whom we were not even established patients with. Upon a simple xray and exam, this dentist found an infection brewing in one of my son's teeth that will need to be extracted after a round of antibiotics (she agreed that sedation was not needed). Dr A would not know, because he refused to do anything for my child. read more

We've been coming here for many years with four different children (two have outgrown the practice). The staff is always helpful and explains to the children what they should be doing and why in a way they can understand. They explain problems and options to the parents clearly as well. Then there is Dr. A himself, who is truly a joy to work with and entrust the care of my children's teeth to. I highly recommend this practice! read more

My family has been going to this practice for 13 years. I can't say enough about the staff and Dr. Armanazi. Sue at the front desk is thorough, kind and personable. The assistants are clearly meant to work with children due to the fact that they are patient and put the kids at ease. Dr. Armanazi is truly one-of-a-kind. If he treated adults, I would definately see him! He shows that he cares about every child and family that he encounters. The office is bright, child oriented and always clean! read more

I made an appointment over a month ago for my 2 sons to be seen with a referral from our current dentist. We got to the appointment 15 minutes early and we weren't taken back to the room until 40 minutes after our appointment started. The girl at the front desk gave me an attitude because I was having trouble filling out the forms on their computers. Once taken back to the room the dental assistant asked questions with her back to us and filled out her paperwork for about 10 minutes. Then she turned around and just stared at us. It was really uncomfortable. I asked her how long she thought the doctor would be and she got irritated and said, "well, he has 8 rooms so we have to wait our turn". So 1 doctor with 8 patients at once and we have to wait our turn when we made an appointment over a month ago? I told her we would wait 5 more minutes and then we would have to leave. She again got an attitude so I said, we would like to leave now. At the front counter I asked for my referrals and exray photos back and again I was confronted with rudeness. The dentist come over to us and said we could stay and he would see us, and I let him know we would be leaving. So he said, "whatever, go then". Seriously? Did I just experience this? Did I just take my 2 younger children to daycare, get my boys out of school and come here early for this appointment? The place is decked out with about 9 game systems, expansive wall murals, check in computers, leather chairs, etc. It seems to me a lot of money is being made here especially with 1 doctor and 8 rooms. I will not be part of any place that treats new patients, or any patients like this. I don't understand how 1 doctor runs this whole place? Seems to me like they are just taking people's, and welfares money and setting up as many appointments as possible. I highly recommend that you do not take your children here. read more

Dr Armanazi was absolutely fantastic with my son. I cannot thank him enough for everything he did for us. His staff was also incredibly helpful and nice. I would recommend him to anyone who wants top quality dental care for their child. read more
