Would be 5 stars, but for a travel stop, it wasn't super travel friendly pulling a tiny trailer even.

Of course, neither of these are in the same class as Shower #1 at Sapp Bros in Denver or any of the bathtubs at Little America, but, it is nice to know this is here. The Denny's underwent remodelling which removed all the outlets at the booths, continuing Corporate's war on truck drivers. Now the only outlets are at the counter, which isn't so bad if you need to charge your phone, but, it is a bit awkward when you want to use your computer to pay bills or some such. Food is still good and I was glad that they still had the Denny's as a lot of them are pulling their sit-down restaurants out. Am definitely looking forward to coming back!

She said I could either leave my credit card with her and go fill up or give her a high figure and the remainder would be refunded on my account. I went with a cost I figured would be close. Tapped my card and the pad said to press "cancel" for credit (I get points to use credit) but she said I needed to put in my PIN. I said credit please, and she said she'd have to start over. Finally got through what should have been an extraordinarily simple transaction. Meanwhile my passengers wanted to use the restrooms but they were closed for construction and a sign pointed them to porta potties outside. Unbelievable. The LAST time I will go to a Flying J anywhere.

Detour to the restroom where I was pleasantly surprised to find it clean and smelling nice. I've stopped at many roadside gas station restrooms and believe me when I say this one was clean. It was a nice surprise and I lingered a little enjoying it. When I had gotten the soda and was paying, I thanked the attendant who thought I was pulling his leg. But I told him that it was nice to have a clean restroom to use and one which smelled pleasant to boot. He was happy as apparently he was the only male attendant and had been informed his level of cleanliness for the toilets was not up to par. When I was in the car, I was informed that the male restroom was horrendous so I guess I was lucky that I wasn't subjected to the horror. Nevertheless I basked in the warm afterglow of a clean smelling restroom for miles after.

Restroom was clean & had some sort of deodorizer smell good gadget making the nose happy. Counter guy was pleasant, if not particularly friendly. He did his job. 'Nuf said. Prices are as expected for gas station convenience store. I grabbed a 1 liter bottle of tea & a homemade chocolate cookie for a shade under $2. Not bad in my estimation.
