I moved my sister here 2 months ago and we have found it very comfortable. The train took a min to get used to but now we are and it's no big deal. The apartment is very spacious it was put together seamlessly, walls were painted properly (no paint spots everywhere) new carpet, appliances were new (or at least looked so) and the entire grounds are beautifully maintained. It is quite in regard to no loud music from disrespectful cars. No loud people being obnoxious. No screaming children. I haven't seen any homeless yet (hope I don't) and will address it if it happens, but honestly it's a great place all around. I feel my sister is and will be safe living here which was my goal. The people I've met are all happy and very nice. They welcomed us openly, one lady even gave us sheets our first night here. We couldn't find anything! Who does that. Nice people do. To my surprise, I found myself exiting through the pool or fitness area and was unsure of how to leave the premises after 6pm, past closing time. Fortunately, the gate opened and I was able to exit. Personally, based on this experience with the staff, I would not choose to rent here despite the nice housing. I gave a rating of 2 due to the quality of the housing.

As stated there are significant positives with the property, the pools are kept in clean and maintained, the gyms is functional and diverse, and the maintenance team is very quick to respond. Unfortunately, there are quite a few issues that I have been experiencing and have been brushed off by management. Firstly, the leasing agent who works the front office, Linette, is rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful. I have found her to not communicate information to management and to be very demeaning in conversations. Secondly, good luck ever getting anyone in the office to respond to any outreach including in person, emails, and/or phone calls/voicemails. The front staff and management will ignore you until you make a threat or seek out higher authority and then may minimally reach out just to say they did. Thirdly, randomly with no warning or heads up to residents, the gates will not close/secure at the end of business and generally this will last for 1-2weeks - one of the things promoted with the property is that it secure due to being gated but with how often the gates are non-functional, I would not weigh this "perk" heavily. Fourth, the complex does not abide by ADA when it comes to their handicapable spots. The maintenance team often park their personal vehicles and golf carts in handicappable marked spots and will leave them there for an extended period, up to the entire work day. When I brought this up to management (Ruthanne) as my partner has a handicapable placard on his car, I was told "I will let them know that someone wants to use that spot" which I find to be dismissive and disappointing considering they are breaking federal law by doing so. In addition, residents cannot call towing to have cars illegally parked in these spots towed because they "have to balance what residents can do" when I tried to point out this violates ADA, the manager told me "I won't discuss this further since you're mentioning legal terms but someone MAY reach out". The manager further stated that other residents have come in and complained about misuse of the handicapable spots so this is clearly an ongoing issue that is not being taken very seriously. If you require handicapable parking or accommodations, this is probably not the complex for you. I generally do not take to public reviews but feel that this may be the only way to get an actual genuine response with action steps/behavioral changes from the complex.

The electricity might blow. We like that our spot is a south-facing end unit at the east end so we don't expect to feel the harshest of heat this summer. It is mostly quiet with well manicured lawns. The laundry rooms are old and so is the equipment. I found it dirty with litter. With one-day maintenance by outside contractors, it is expected to get pretty yucky. I will try off-site laundry to compare. Overall it is okay. Nothing left after social security, so still working. I am hoping maybe a food bank is close by.

All day long, late at night, the middle of the night, early in the morning. All I get told is the same "automated" response about how the flooring makes noise louder. Tuesday night it was ongoing for hours, so I called security. Yesterday, Saturday, 4 in the morning I got woken up to the stomping. So I left a note on their door yesterday asking them to please be mindful of the noise as it causes disturbances between myself and my kids. This morning at 545, yet again it happened. I went upstairs and knocked on their door with no response. It's been an hour and they're still at it. I called security and they're CLOSED. This is literally insane. I've been here since the end of January and nothing has changed. Not sure what my next steps can be but I will NOT back down. I pay my rent and keep to myself, this is so inappropriate and unacceptable to have no assistance with this.
